  • I got out of work early and decided to take advantage of the sun finally being out and it being the longest day of the year. I went into this hike only knowing I would summit Avalanche Peak. The rest was a last second decision to go off trail and extend the hike for a little more adventure...

Great trail, the views are amazing and nice to see snow on the peaks still. Enjoyed the hike. Cheers! 😍👍

You nailed it with the music soundtrack and video quality...got me to binge watch every episode. Now the tricky part....just need to take this viral on hang off a algorithmic cliff!

Well thank you so much David! Thanks so much for binge watching my channel. That means a lot to me. I hope I find that viral cliff sooner than later haha

I have no doubts...started watching you this week because my wife and I are coming into Sedona next week and wanted to go hiking, however...looks like a lot of snow could dampen that and keep us on the lowlands.

As a park employee who used to trail run this peak when I lived here, you brought me back. Thank you :)

Last time I remember doing it (I’m sure I went back again afterwards) but towards August or September I remember getting followed down by something making a racket (presumably a grizz) was a little scary bc I peaked it for sunset lol

BUT moving forward; stay on trails, there’s a reason they’re there. Fragile ecosystems that people don’t realize and if everyone who visited walked wherever they wanted those fragile environments would be destroyed, there IS a reason there are trails- even to the other peak you summited

Passed you on Electric Peak trail yesterday. It didn't hit me who you were until later. Hope you didn't get caught in that nasty storm. Happy trails!

How cool! I absolutely got caught in that storm. It was definitely nasty. I had to get into shelter under the trees and hiked back 8 miles in the rain. I didn't get to climb electric peak 😢
