I've owned and worn this watch for two months, and I really enjoy it. Excellent finishing and value, and very different than the rest of my collection.
They were designed to be worn in the inside of your wrist. So that when you’re holding the wheel at 10 and 2 you can still really the time without moving your hands off the wheel
second that - 8:20, inside of wrist - perfect angle to see the time at a glance whilst driving - all I need now is an old Bugatti type 35 or Bently 4.5 litre supercharged ... but, if I could afford that I'd be trading my Balcony for an American Historique 1921 - until then I'm just loving the Balcony
Great review 👍. I bought the centre seconds Miyota 9039 version and I think it is brilliant. I do wear it inside the wrist, because that way when I turn my arm and look down the dial is correctly aligned. As you demonstrated it doesn't work when driving! The quality is outstanding 👍
Good review. I've got this for a bit of fun - it's great. I've have several vintage VC's, but it is now in my rotation, it's that good. This silver dial version is modelled on the limited Excellence Platine platinum version which has applied numerals against the frosted dial. They have just released a couple of versions with military dials and cathedral hands which look really cool as well.
Baltany keeps knocking them out of the park. I have this watch, and what a stunner it is. It's by far the most expensive Chinese watch in my collection (the second one being another watch I picked up after watching a video of yours, the San Martin Ghost Driver v3) and it was money well spent. I especially love the applied numbers. They make this watch look like a million bucks, in my opinion. Next on my wish list is the Baltany 1926. I'm glad the next big Ali sale is not upon us just yet, because it's going to take me a while to decide which version I want. Thanks for another great video.
@jmlaso The only advantage of the manual winding (ST1700 movement) that I can see is 1mm slimmer case (10.5mm vs 9.5mm). To be honest that wouldn't convince me to go for the manual option because 10.5mm is already slimmer than 95% of watches in my collection :-) So, unless that 1mm is very important to you or / and you really enjoy 'old school' daily winding (which you can still do with an automatic too btw), I would recommend going for the automatic option.

More like driving at 08:20. At 10 to Two, your wrist is still down

This looks amazing ... I have their 1926 ... now I need their 1921 too ... a definite pick up for me.
I've always liked the original by V.C and think this is an absolute bargain, plus it's been well done for the money.
