But then you have the scene towards the end of his fight with Ivy where Clayface breaks the "bad news" to un-wigged Harley. Seriously, if he knew all along that Harley and "Hargret" were the same person, I don't think he would've told Harley that Hargret was only a "Vegas 6".
Yeah it's been established in this show that Clayface is the master of disguise and can perfectly duplicate one's appearance and be tricky in that regard but is a fool in regards to other's apperaances and acts and can get easily tricked like when he got so easily catfished by Captain Boomerang of all people in the Valentine's day special. Guy's really only especially tricky when it comes to HIS disguises not in seeing through others.

Sure batman is able to stop him by either freezing him or destabilizing him so he can be solid. But otherwise he always comes back. harley is "the voice of reason" bc she started to care a little bit about other people and her new job. but she's still a force of chaos. but the thing about clayface becoming a big star really annoyed me and I can't explain why, seems like there was a big unnecessary timeskip they never showed and we just missed it 💀
