Recently, i’ve been so caught up in the idea of “not falling behind and keeping up with others” those thoughts eventually gave me so much of stress and sense of frustration. So I changed my mind and begin trying to go with the flow.
I felt like I’ve fell all behind on my life since I failed the big test. In the middle of catching up with figuring out myself, I found myself very silly being obsessed with the past and comparing myself to those who got stable and good jobs. I’m totally ready to start from the scratch once I found sth to do for my life, but I still haven’t found one yet. I don’t know how long it will take me to find what I want to do, but I won’t push myself so much to find it out. I believe I’ll eventually get on my own life race and keep up with my goals. You’re still young, Hans. Do not lose yourself.
I was busy catching up with your lesson. I need to go to a restroom. I'll catch up with you. I didn't catch when we're going to see again. Thank you a lot ~~
- You (guys/girls) go ahead. I need to go to the restroom. I'll catch up with you soon. - I didn't catch the part about when we're going to meet up again. 😀
I'm so behind on English after starting the work. But, I feel better after watching the video clips of Live Academy and following up your expressions. Always thanks alot !!!

Good evening,선생님!! I went to Seoraksan with mountaineering club for two days last weekend. When I was following them behind. It was so hard I kept falling behind the party , but I tried to catch up them. Sometimes they were catching me and gave some cucumbers. When I got back home, I had to catch up on a lot of house chores.
Thanks for this new lecture. I have got caught up in my job these days. Between break time, I was trying to catch up with my friends as my friends has met together without me at the time. I feel like I'm behind from my friend sometimes sobs. Every time I got together with my friends, I was just trynna catch up.
It hasn't been very long since I knew this channel. And I've subscribed to this channel for only a few weeks. So, I'm trying to catch up on these videos.
I really enjoyed the long holiday weekends last week while catching up on some sleep and spending time with my family catching up. And it makes me sad that it's time to do a lot of catching up on my studies.
영작 잘하셨습니다. long weekends 가 아니고 long weekend 입니다. Other than that, everything else sounds fine. Here are my versions just as an FYI. I really enjoyed the long holiday weekend catching up (with my family) as well as (on some badly needed sleep). And now, it makes me sad to realize that I have a lot of catching up with my studies.
- I really enjoyed the long holiday weekend - ... it makes me sad that it's time to catch up on my studies / ...it makes me sad that I have so much catching up to do on my studies 😀
I met up with my old friend over the holiday weekend. We hadn't been in touch for almost a year. She said that she had gotten caught up in a series of bad situations at work because her boss had put her in a difficult position. I have a feeling that I am far behind other members in English. So I thought that it would be better to catch up on as many video clips of LA that I might 've missed as I could and try to keep up with them.
.... So I thought that I should try to catch up by watching some LA videos that I might've missed. There is a lot, but I'm going to try to watch as many of them as I could. 😀
I have to catch up on the pace of my book club. It began 2 weeks ago but I haven't even started yet. The book club's book already arrived but I haven't finished the books that I've been reading alone yet. I think I'm able to start a new book next week and it's going to be another busy week to catch up on the progress because I hate falling too behind.
I'm sorry, my schedule at work has been really intensive nowadays. Tomorrow, I might be free. I'll catch up with your email tomorrow afternoon and contact you.
Amazing lesson bro. I.ve been in the states for nearly 3 drcades, but I.m still picking up few cool things from your lessons as I haven't got rudimentary language lessons in the US. I knowI will continue to listen to yours
1. Recently, something happend among my friends and I felt really betrayed by one of them. I got so caught up in that emotion and had a hard time for a while. I tried my best to take my mind off it but it wasn't as easy as I thought. 2. I was supposed to meet up with my friends today, but something came up by when I got off work and I got caught up at work. I haven't seen them in almost half a year and had expected to hang out with them and do a lot of catching up, but it all moved behind to some time later this year.
- but something came up by when I got off work and I got caught up at work ---- 이 부분 한국어로 한 번만 부탁해요 - I haven't seen them in almost half a year and was looking forward to hanging out with them and doing some catching up, but it got pushed back to some time later this year 😀
come to think of the verb "catch", in my memory, I could remember that my parents caught me and my old best friend watching some bad videos when we were in middle school. I don't like a long holiday like the one we had last week, that's because there is a lot of stuff I have to catch up. I don't know why I get caught up on this channel ~~^^
- We've all had moments like that I guess 😀 - I don't like long holidays like the ....... / That's because there is a lot of stuff I have to catch up *on afterwards. - I don't know why I'm so obsessed with this channel. 😀
A: hey, did you hear that 수진 is coming here to Daegu this weekend? so, she and i, we are catching up on Friday. wanna join us? B; I'd love to, but I've gotta catch up on my flute lessons i missed for three weeks in a row. i think i'm so far behind on that. A: it's ok, take it easy. you haven't been learning it for very long. plus, it's not like you want to become a professional flutist, huh? so, don't get caught up in the idea that you should be good at everything. B: you're right.
My mother would’ve been a girl with a lot of dreams, but she got caught up in raising kids after she got married. She started falling behind compared with her colleagues. As time went by, it had been increasing so much things to catch up with. After all, she gave up her career and devoted herself to raising me. Now I become an adult and set up home independently. While I got caught up at work, I hadn’t noticed that she was getting old. Her vivid gray hair catch me thinking a lot today.
I am so busy with my own business and family I sometimes find that I haven't called her for over 2 weeks. I often get caught up in that bad feeling that I'm not her good daughter.😔
@@3beans516 I hope you don’t get caught up in such a bad emotion. If you have thought so much for your mom, you are already a good and lovely daughter. I’m sure she’s proud of you.
- My mother could've done so much more with her life, but she was too busy raising her kids after she got married - She felt that her peers were making so much more progress with their lives to the point where she had no chance of catching up. - Now, I've become an adult and have become independent - I was so busy working that I didn't realize how old she had gotten. Her vivid gray hair has gotten me thinking a lot today. 😀
Sorry, I didn't catch your name before. Sorry, I didn't catch that last part. Can you say that again? "Catch up" (놓친 내용 등을) 따라잡다. I'll catch up with you later. I met up with some old friends over the weekend. We just caught up. We hadn't seen each other in almost a year. We did a lot of catching up. The only thing bad about it is there's usually a lot of catching up to do when I go back to work. I just want to catch up on some sleep. Catch up 따라잡다. (Be caught up 따라잡은 상태에 있다. "You're all caught up") Keep up 유지하다. Get caught up ~에 사로잡히다. Tty not to get caught up in that emotion. She eventually got caught up in a series of bad situations. I don't think I could've done any better had I been her (in her shoes). Sorry I'm late. I got caught up at work.
Last year wasn't really successful for me to get a job because I just came back home after spending years in abroad. Back then I was very frustrated and helpless. But I guess I shouldn't get caught up in that emotion anymore. Think I'll have to move past it and try harder again this year.
It was a big mistake that I started this book last night in bed. I got totally caught up in it and lost track of time. I fell asleep at around 5 in the morning. So, I think I'll have to pass the party tonight. I want to catch up on some sleep.
- Sometimes, I feel that I'm behind my friends. It makes me depressed but I try not to get caught up in that emotion.
I'm worried I'm so behind on my life than others. I made some mistake at work today. I think again and again about my mistake. I try not to get so caught up in that emotion but it is very hard.

Sorry. I got caught up at an another meeting. I didn't catch the previous discussion that we guys did. Could you kindly repeat it shortly? If you're busy, kindly leave a summary by email. I will check it over the weekend and I will catch up with it shortly. Then, we will be able to catch our marketing point together.
One of the Marketing directors really ruined my day. Because he treated me in was bad manner. But I am trying not to caught up with that gloomy emotion.

A: How is it going at new work? B: I think I have been doing so far, but I still have a lot of things to catch up with my colleagues. I don't want to fall behind at my new work, and I need to give an excellent impression to my boss at first. A: It looks like you got used to working at a new company. I hope you can keep up your pace consistently.
새로 시작한 직장이라면 '뒤쳐진 상태'라고 보기에는 좀 어색한 감이 있기 때문에 catch up 할게 많다고 하기 보다는 그냥 배울 것이 많다고 하는 게 자연스러울 것 같아요 : I still have a lot to learn. A: It looks like you've gotten quite used to your new job. I hope you can keep it up. 😀
Recently, I had been got caught up in some emotions. I felt like I have to keep doing something. I get caught up in anxiety many nights for some reason. I guess I was born to be anxious. I tend to check things over and over again. So my mind is always busy. I know this trait(tendency) benefis me in some ways, especially in my career. BUT it often makes me exhausted.
I haven't been sleeping very well lately. I will catch up on some sleep today. To get sleep well, I won't get caught up in disappointing thoughts in bed .
Jessie drove straight to the office to catch up on all the work that piled up during 5 holidays. She said to herself, "Dang it. I should've gone a holiday after finishing all work. I feel like being stuck at work all night. " 2. I’m also with you on that plan. It’s already been 2 years since we met. I think that would be nice to spend over night doing a lot of catching up. We always met once a year in our twenties, remember? 3. There were times when he felt like falling behind and was depressed. When he lost in that feeling, he tried not to get so caught up in it. 4. Haven't you gotten so caught up in that game? It's already been 3 hours since you started playing it. Wow, that's ridiculous.. 5. I understand how you feel now. But it doesn't do any good for you and him if you're still caught up in that feeling.
- ..There's about 5 days worth of work to catch up on. - .... I think it would be nice to spend some time catching up. - There were times when he felt depressed about falling behind. - Don't you think you're a little too into that game? 😀
You are all caught up 에서 caught up은 catch up의 past participle이고 형용사로 쓰인것 입니다. You are all caught up. (따라온 상황) I am married. (결혼한 사람) I am drunk. (술취한 상태) For your second question, I can try to reply if you provide example sentences.
be caught up 에 대해서는 daniel 님이 잘 설명해주셨어요. I guess I'm just stuck with this car for the next few years. 😀
# I'm the one who prefer to plan ahead before I start to travel. But, I'm not trying to get caught up in it when I begin to travel. Something that I don't expect can happen a lot. ( A: 곧 한번 모이자. 내가 나중에 연락할께) -> *A:Let's get together sometime soon, lads.* *We have lots of things to catch up on.* *B: Yeah, we should. I'll catch you later.* anticipate : 예상하고 일어날 일에 대비하는 것까지 포함 catch you later : 언제 볼지 정해지지 않고 막연히
I'm one of those people who likes to plan ahead before going on a trip. But when the trip actually starts, I try not to get too caught up in my plans. There are always things that I cannot anticipate. I'll catch you later (up 빼고)가 좋겠네요 ~ 이유는 실시간 때 설명할게요 ~ 오세요~

One of my cowokers said (that) a stray cat near his place got caught stealing a dog meal < 직장동료 한명이 걔 집근처 길고양이가 개밥을 훔쳐먹다가 걸렸다고 그러더라구> 2.A:How long would she take to catch up to do laundry? A:Hey, i think you shouldn't get too caught up in past things for your future. B:umm, I don't think so, it could be that the past is a mirror to mirror present and future < 음, 난 그렇게 생각안해 , 과거는 현재와 미래를 비추는 거울(인것)일수도 있어> *비추다? A: Hey,I'll be there by eleven o'cock B:OK, you can go first , i'll catch up with you soon.
- a stray cat got caught stealing dog food - How long do you think it'll take her to finish the laundry? - When do you think you'll be as good as SHM? - Hey, I think it would better for your future if you didn't get so caught in the past. - History tends to repeat itself ---- 저라면 이렇게 말할 것 같아요) - You go ahead. I'll catch up with you soon. 😀
I went to the park for a walk. It wasn't raining when I left home. But when I was a halfway there. I got caught in a shower. By the time I got home. I got totally wet. 소나기를 만나다라고 할때는 be caught 인가요? get caught 인가요?
1. I love my job. It's neither too easy nor too hard and my colleagues and my boss are so nice. There's no such a thing like pressure of tough competition. But it's because it's a small company, everyone is on charge of individual task and it leads that none of them can replace me while I'm on vacation. There's a lot of catching up after coming back to the office. 2. I really need to brush up on my English. I met up my western friends last weekend and realized that my English has gotten so bad. I felt so left out not catching up the conversation. I'll catch up with you later가 꼭 하루 안에 일어나는 상황에서만 사용 가능할까요?
A: Don't forget guys, we have our basketball game against the Hooping Giants this evening. B: Yeah I know. It's at 7pm, right? What was the name of the team again? on how tall those players are. Just play our game...pass the ball and make shots. And on defense, we need to help each other out. Then we should be fine. A+B: We are leaving now. We want to get something to eat first, then get there early to warm up. C: I need to finish up a report at work. Why don't you guys ?

Kim went on a trip to visit his friends. They caught up and had fun during the week. But, when he got off the train back home, he realized that he lost his wallet. He just wasn't fast enough to catch up to the train He was so stressed. He had a lot of work to catch up on. Plus, he even had a lot of cards that now need to be reissued. I'm so behind on everything after my military service end. You know when I served my duty, I spent my time so regularly. But now, it depends when I sleep, study and work out. If I hang out with my friend, I skipped them. So I want to catch up my former life. Make sure that isn't meaning to wanna serve my duty, again ㅎㅎ.

1. One of my cowokers said (that) a stray cat near his place got caught stealing a dog meal
2.A:How long would she take to catch up to do laundry?
B: I don't think it'll take that long
3.A: oh~ It looks like you're good at soccer <
do you think it's a matter of time to catch up on Son Heung-min?
B: haha~ no way !
4. A:Hey, i think you shouldn't get too caught up in past things for your future.
B:umm, I don't think so, it could be that the past is a mirror to mirror present and future
*비추다? 미래의 뭔가를 미리 보여주다, 엿보다 그냥 show? (ㅡㅡ);;
5. A: Hey,I'll be there by eleven o'cock
B:OK, you can go first , i'll catch up with you soon. <
- a stray cat got caught stealing dog food

I'll catch up with you later
I felt so left out because I had a hard time keeping up the conversation.

He just wasn't fast enough to catch up to the train
He was so stressed.
He had a lot of work to catch up on. Plus, he even had a lot of cards that now need to be reissued.
He knew he shouldn't be caught up in disappointment for too long.
He tried to let go of things that he can't change, but rather focus on things he can.
The only thing bad about it that Kim means my son.. not real name ~)

I don't think I could've done any better had I been her(in her shoes) 여기서 had I been her은 if가 생략되고 had가 도치된 거라고 알고 있어요.
ex) If I had enough money, I would give you some.
I've got a lot of thing to catch up with my friends.
1. I haven't seen my friends for a long time.
There is a lot of catching up to do with my friends.
2. I had been so behind on my studies.
I worried about falling behind more, so I tried my best to catch up it and finally I've been almost caught up. From now on, all I have to do is just keep it up!
3. When bad things happen to me, I usually get caught up in that bad feeling and can't move on.

B: Well, it feels like there's nothing but catching up. Above all, I try not to get caught up in the idea of catching up quickly.
