Suggestions for the ancient one: He could have an ability that gives Mining Fatigue III or IV to everyone who comes near him so players can't just simply through the walls and around him. Possibly a movement type similar to the Blaze, with him hovering just above the ground while attacks you. I would also suggest making the room a bit larger, so players can actually move around and dodge his attacks. Speaking of attacks, I think something really cool would be if he had a laser beam blasting out of his staff similar to a guardian, but instead of doing damage it gives a random harmful effect (slowness, weakness, poison) that increases in strength for every second it's focused on you. Another possible attack is him stopping for a moment, giving the player the opportunity to attack him, then summoning a random amount (2-5) of silverfish. Along with a standard melee staff attack (8 damage), I feel like that's a pretty nice attack set for him.

Mining fatigue is essential, or players would just be able to skip the battle by mining to the portal room.

@@kirbyfazendoummoonwalk9214 but its a sandbox game so I it should be easy to speedrun, but have features that cater to adventures, like how in breath of the wild you have an option to get all the gear defeat all the mini-bosses and then kill the final boss. Or just skip straight to the final boss and one shot it with a sword you picked up randomly. All still good ideas
The Enderman’s eyes are Purple because Endermen are being controlled by the Enderdragon, they should revert back to green when there’s no active enderdragon in the world

They aren't being controlled by the Enderdragon though. At one point, the Endermen would attack the Ender Dragon if the Ender Dragon attacked them or something. Plus, if the Dragon is trying to kill you, why would the Dragon not tell the Endermen to attack you as well.

Both times: The boss enters a harder version than if you had fought it the normal way, going into phase 2 immediately (It would normally happen at 75%), goes into phase 3 at 35% (Normally it would happen at 5%), damage is tripled, spawns skeletons and zombies at double the rate than normal, also spawning wither skeletons and immediately aggroed zombie pigmen, and also has double the defense, whilst ignoring one fifth of yours, braking your armor at one and one fourth the normal rate

There should be multiple strongholds leading to different dimensions. Underwater Stronghold leads to Atlantis, Terracotta Stronghold leads to Earth Dimension, Jungle Stronghold leads to Betweenlands, Lava Stronghold leads to the Hadal, and the Stone Stronghold leads to, well, the End.

Being able to make end portals will be problematic for a few reasons:
If you're able to place end portals in survival, that means you must be able to break them as well. If you can break them, you can essentially make it impossible to go to the end (without finding another stronghold) since you need endstone to make the portals and you need the end to get endstone. If they made it possible to make it without end exclusive items, it removes the point of having a stronghold in the first place.
Good point. As soon as I heard his suggestion for a recipie for End Portal frames I knew it was a horrible idea.
As much as I hate to make end portal frames craftable and breakable, your point could be fixed, by making a stronghold portal unbreakable but player built ones breakable, this whole situation could be avoided

Well I'd imagine that essence of the void can only be obtained in stronghold's so your point that you wouldn't need to go to a stronghold to make the portals wouldn't be true. Although I'm not sure if it was specified.
Maybe you could only break it with end-exclusive tools. Like an enderite pickaxe. (Find a better name for that)
The ancient one : Summons skeletons to fight for him. He shoots projectiles and has a couple different projectile attacks. He also has a melee attack where he just attacks similar to a wither skeleton. He also has 150 hit points instead of 100. Also he can regenerate HP : 1 hit point every 5 seconds.

8:11 Rather than a boss, could be an optional one, that attacks you when you open one of the chests in each room, however, the chests have INCREDIBLE loot, so you have to decide if it's worth a Diamond Axe or just jump in the fight with your Iron Sword.
I don't think someone would go to the dragon fight with iron gear, come on. It's so easy to obtain diamonds, loots with diamond stuff are boring and become useless very quickly. Like SystemZee said, the stronghold needs a unique treasure. Although i don't quite agree with that enchantment in particular.

I agree. You can easily mine your way to the portal without having to fight all the mobs, and in the case of this video, the ancient one.
reuse an idea from z him self Eye Of The Gateway could make it so if you mine a stone block a silverfish pops out and if you mine another a Second pops out then a 3 all the way up to the max entity cramming limit witch thay will come in waves after 24 (the default amount) after the some of the fish is continues spawning until the player dies or all of the silver fish have bean killed so dont mine at the stronghold in bulk before you activate the end portal
the achievement is called Eye Spy.
Make it so you can't set your spawn in a certain radius of the stronghold, too. Beds make the dragon fight a whole less lot dramatic.

The lanterns in the Stronghold could be green, there should be not only chest traps but pressure plate traps that makes all infested blocks at a 5 block radius realease their silver fish
Also the strong hold should have more enderpearls as loot because pearls are so easy to get anyway

Tbh that's the only thing I would want from the cave update. All these ideas for it with cave biomes and underground mushrooms just look dumb. The changes are way too drastic, Mojang would never. I would like some unique loot, and a couple big dungeons and mini bosses, but that's about it for now.
The ancient one could have an attack pattern like this:
Upon entering the room, he creates magical barriers on the exits from the room and the entrance to the portal. He gives you an ancient curse, which makes you unable to use a pickaxe or place blocks. He stays in his pedestal for the whole battle, almost stationary except for animations.
He stands there with 4 shields circling him on all sides, he is invublerable at first.
Then he blasts arching fireballs(10 damage) with an ender heart behind him. Upon breaking the ender heart(25 hp), the first shield will break.
Hearts stay stationary and don't deal contact damage or shoot the player.
And you can lower him to 75 hp.
After that he becomes invublerable again and spawns 2 wither skeleton archers, a stronger version of skeleton archers who use soul fire arrows, more powerful than regular fire. and another heart.
Once all are killed, it's left with 2 shields, can be lowered to 50 hp and after that, it's invulnerable again.
He then explodes shortly after, like the wither boss (not destroying tiles), dealing 20 damage (better have some armor on) and if you use a shield, it will Instantly break it, but you will suffer no damage
He spawns 8 orbs of light, which spin around it and charge at you shortly after, in succession, after shooting the orbs, he will take 4 seconds to recharge. 2 more hearts also spawn.
After the 2 hearts are down, another shield breaks and it's vulnerable again until 25hp.
Once it's at 25 hp, he spawns a swarm of endermites and 2 more hearts
After the final shield is broken, it will become vulnerable and actually start moving and occasionally dash at you repeatedly until it dies.
That sounds more powerful than the actual frocking dragon
@@iwistudio7337 the dragon is a lame final boss imo. Just keep using a bow and arrow for 10 minutes and it's dead. Where's the difficulty? The things you need to dodge is minimal. The dragon is very predictable. And has a grand total of 1 phase with no subphases. An easy final boss?

The Ancient One drops a 'Stronghold Heart' which can be put in a Smithing Table with a Netherite ingot to create a 'Stronghold Core'. The Stronghold Core can be crafted with any Netherite armor pieces to create ' Upgraded Netherite ....' For example, if the Stronghold Core is used in a Chestplate recipe, it would become an 'Upgraded Netherite Chestplate'. The upgraded armor's durability drops a little, but the armor boosts your health.

Maybe the Ancient One fight would work like this:
You get within 8 blocks of him, then he keeps giving you mining fatigue, until killed.
He hovers around the room, shooting green beams at you, and teleports if you try to shoot him.
If you go beyond 16 blocks of him he pulls you in.
Maybe he might also poison you or summon minions.
He should also summon ender skeletons, like normal skeletons but have purple enderman eyes and can teleport while shooting ender charges and shulker bullets.
Good idea, also, i have an idea as well, but still i like your idea quite a bit.
It should be mining fatigue about 32 blocks instead.

Here is my idea:
A new type of villager like mob with a unique skin and a clothing similiar to the wandering trader's, that trades with you for rubies (a new ore that can be only found in deep ocesans, mountains, swamps, mesas and deserts at high from 27 to 30 ), unless you attack them, in that case they'll get angry at you and will behave like piglins, but won't attack you if you steal their stuff, unless it is a ruby ore block.
This mobs will be called "the lagers" or "the tillagers" and will trade rare items (like enchanted golden apples, blaze rods, prismarine shards and crystal, carved pumpkin, etc) and new unique ones such as tomes, runes and new alchemic, farming and brewing items ( they would be called tillagers because of their unique plants tillages wich are essential for part of their brewing techniques and will introduce new potions, new golems and new enchanting mechanics)
They will be neutral to villagers, pillagers and and witches, aggressive toward vindicators and evokers.
They won't attack villagers because these mobs will respect creatures with brewing or alchemic knowledge and there is a villager profession about this, villagers can all spawn iron golems (wich can be considered an alchemic knowledge, even it it is very basic and limited) and well witches because they know it too; but also because they are after the pillagers actions toward villagers not because they're destroying their villages, but because they're destroying their culture wich brewing is a part of.
They live in new structures similiar to underground like villages where there are also exclusive ruby mines, but will have a superficial entry in a tower that spawn in mesas, swamps (without the cactus golem) and deserts.

I see so many comments like that on each zee video. Zee isn’t the one who makes the models or assets, he sometimes does some brainstorming but not much else regarding the ideas other than presenting it in an understandable way to a large audience. It is mostly Endergy who does the assets creation models and textures, zee is just the presenter, just because someone sometimes brainstorms some ideas about a concept doesn’t mean he should be hired at mojang as a dev. He may be good as a community manager type mojang employee but as of now he has no experience to be a dev.

the ancient one could attack by hovering his ancient orb. Then there is a green laser, like the guardians attack. if you got hitted, you will have a slowness and a poison effect. the ancient Guardian will stay on his point and has a lot of range.

I hope the makers of Minecraft see these videos! I would love stuff like this and it would bring speedrunners a new challenge.
The Ancient Orb seems a little strong for pre Ender Dragon loot, and a guaranteed drop at that. It might be better for the Ancient One to drop an Orb Shard or something that can be crafted into an Ancient Orb. Maybe could also be an extremely rare find in strongholds and a less rare find in End Cities. That way you can technically get an Orb before the Ender Dragon fight but will likely require finding at least a second stronghold.
Below average loot? To be fair those libraries have some amazing enchantments

SIGHT OF ENDERMEN IS LITERALLY WHAT CARVED PUMPKINS ARE USED FOR, YES, THE ENCHANTMENT IS WAY BETTER, BUT LIKE BRUH
But with a pumpkin you won’t be able to have the protection your helmet does and you won’t have to deal with the annoying pumpkin screen in front of you, so it could make the game better.
@@TheHorribleProductions That's why i said the enchantment is better. The IDEA though is still unoriginal in my opinion. The carved pumpkin is a TRADE-OFF. The endermen already don't do much if you just don't look at them.
Well part of the challenge is you can choose good protection, but risk of endermen attacks, or lousy protection but safe from endermen
Fun fact: the only reason carved pumpkins protect you from them is because they block out your crosshair.

Idea: the ancient one has 4 abiltys 1: can teleport in a certain radius. 2: can summon 3 endermite to attack you. 3: can summon a explosion, which has the ender chest particles, and after 2 seconds, will explode, dealing 6 hearts to someone with no armour. 4: can do an explosion type attack ( at the mobs location, that sends you back, but it stops the mob from moving and using its abilitys for 5 seconds, but does no damage.) (and also it can move around and also can do a melee attack that does 4 hearts to someone that has no armour.) By mob i mean the ancient one, and also, you can stun it for 3 seconds if you hit it with any debuff potion, but potion effects dont work on the mob, and the stun also stops it from moving and using its abilitys, but unlike the other stun, it also cant melee attack you. I hope you like this idea, even though its a long one.

Things that should be launched in the endade.
Where you will have like a portal. To activate this portal you have to make a block with 4 items. These items are spread across the end. There will be 1 for each biome. In the first biome there will be floating islands. On only 1 of several islands you will have a chest buried where one of the items will be. In the second biome there will be the end nicelio floor. That house 6 seconds you have the chance to teleport to 3 or 7 blocks away from where you were. There will be a lot of moths from the end. So q these are special. If you kill her she will drop 1 moth powder. If you have 9 of them you can make one of the items. Only this biome is full of tall grass making it more difficult to kill moths. In the 3 tabem biomes are flying islands. The only difference is that they are inverted islands. There will be a flying mob attacking you. If you kill 9 of them you can receive one of the items. Finally, the biome will be full of mines. You will have to find a specific ore. With this ore you can exchange with the villagers on the end. And they will give you the last item. With the 4 items you will craft a block. This block you put in the portal that appears in the end spawn. Then you will finally defeat the dragon. (And the dragon would be more difficult, being able to release several fireballs and being able to summon dragon babies)
This is my idea for updating the end
(Each item you take in each biome is for a different craft, I just haven't had a good idea for that yet)

I think the true last boss should be Heart Of Ender. After defeating the dragon, you will get special Enddragon Armor and Enddragon Weapons. This will be the most powerful tools and when you return to the Overworld you can use the Orb Of Dominance to summon Heart Of Ender.

I love this idea so much! I just dont think it would fit in minecraft. It would be way too complicated for majority players.
A lot of text indeed, it did caught my attention though.
I think The Ancient One would attack you by lifting the staff up into the air and smashing it down onto the ground, which would create a particle wave that you have to jump over. When he does this, it will stun him for 4 seconds, giving you time to attack. But that’s only his special move. If you try to run away from him, he will point his staff at you, giving you slowness 3 so he can get up close and whack you with the staff.
The Ancient One should trap players in slime puddles that it summons around it.
The slime puddles prevents you from jumping and slows you down, but there are air gaps between slime puddles to be a little more fair.
It’s primary method of attack is summoning other undead mobs, which are unaffected by the slime puddles.
Why pots? Lets put something like statues or rock heads of the ender dragon.
Let him have his pots. He puts em in all his structures. The man loves breaking his pots, just like in zelda.
And they could be a new form of a randomized loot generator where they get a set loot table and then when broken they might drop some of that stuff
I dunno, I dig the pots. It gives the Stronghold a more “lived in” vibe, like there was an actual civilization going about their day-to-day activities in there a long time ago. That feeling is really bolstered by the bigger doorways, allowing more foot traffic without congestion, and the brewing stand he threw in there really adds to it as well.

I gotta be honest here, a lot of Zee’s ideas are great, but others are just there to make the game easier, or removing the parts of Minecraft that make the game Minecraft, and not some dungeon crawler game.

Yeah I know what you mean. I've noticed that too in a lot of his update idea videos, but I like most of his ideas in this video. The only one I really don't like in this is the eye of ender enchantment. I think there should be a mini boss before the end portal, and having it be human-like would fit into the lore very well.
I have an idea for the whole End thing, inspired by some mods I’ve played and my own ideas. I think we can agree that four things are kinda boring:
1. Getting the eyes of ender is just throwing some gold to Piglins, beating up some blazes, and using a crafting table.
2. Finding the End portal is just throwing eyes in the air, digging way down, and walking through a maze till you find it.
3. Fighting the dragon is just blowing up some beds.
4. Exploring the end is only for elytra.
So here’s my fix ideas:
1. There aren’t eyes of ender, there are twelve different kinds of eyes (Eye of Sand, Eye of Fire) with their own colors, sounds, and textures, and they are found in different places. Maybe one is dropped by the Elder Guardian, one is found in a Nether fortress, one is claimed in a Pillager outpost, etc. That way, each has its own challenge that you have to plan and prepare for, and it’s not just grinding and searching. Also, imagine if you have to craft a special device, like the amulet in MCSM, that allows you to track where each eye is and find them, maybe like a hot cold system or a map. Once you have them, the amulet thing guides you to the stonghold.
2. The stronghold itself is much larger. I like Yung’s Better Stronghold mod, so it could be something like that. But I also like the Minecraft Ancient Builder lore theories, so maybe the stronghold could have more intricate systems and defenses, not just a dull maze. And at the portal, imagine if four statues on the walls come to life and attack you with medieval weapons and powers, like guardians that awaken to defend the portal. I like your ancient one idea, but it might be strange lore wise. Additionally, actually opening the vault containing the portal requires solving a red stone puzzle or completing parkour of some kind, or maybe both.
3. The ender dragon fight is much harder. It has more health, two or three stages in which it gets angrier and stronger, and multiple powers, like shooting beams of dragon fire and mind controlling groups of Endermen. It should be the hardest boss in the game, considering it is the last. And of course the dragon egg should be able to hatch a friendly dragon or at least do SOMETHING that makes the whole ordeal worth it.
4. The End dimension islands are heavily revamped, with beautiful biomes, mobs, dungeons, rewards, and dangers. The end cities and elytra would still be there, but they’d be alongside a plethora of other cool stuff.

Cactus come alive at night and hate any mob hostile and non-hostile including other cacti and players. But player placed Cactus would be passive toward the player that placed it. So you could have a cactus army at night. They also would have a chance of spawning with sombreros’ that they can drop when die(ing) and the player can put it on their character’s.
I like it but that should only be true for naturally generated Cactus. Player placed cacti would be passive toward the player.

The boss at the stronghold is a cool idea but it shouldn’t drop one of the best things in the game.
I wish someone would add something to give minecraft a bit of lore and to let us as players try to piece it together.
Magic items should be added to Minecraft, of course with the addition of much more challenging mobs, enchanted books against magic damage, certain mobs can wear such enchanted armors, and even mobs or items specifically made to counter magic.

Cool battle idea: play around with the idea of dimension travel. Maybe the ancient one has the ability to send the player to little pocket dimensions it creates, small challenges which generate temporarily and that the player has to solve (for example a parkour area with obsidian parkour blocks and both skeletons and wither skeletons harassing you, or a maze you have to escape with threats down each wrong tunnel). It would charge this up for a bit, so you could get hits in, but it would be near unavoidable to get sent to one of these and the longer you’re inside the more health they regenerate (since they have passive health regen), causing it to be a time trial to have any hope of winning. This could be a fun way to make a fight that’s more than just hit it until it dies

8:12 The Ancient One seems to be undead because he is well a skeleton. If he were to have attacks, I feel they would be necromancy/undead based. Some attack ideas I would do for The Ancient One...
-The Dead Rise: This attack summons a couple zombie minions to attack the player. The "king" would tap his staff on the ground a couple times and the zombies would spawn.
-Bile Barrage: The orb would light up and this would summon green orbs around the king. After pointing the staff at you, The orbs would launch at that location. Once they lock onto an area, the shoot in that direction. The player can dodge the fast orbs or like a Ghast fireball, Knock them back at the king to return the damage.
-Skull crushing bash: The king would launch at you and try to hit you with his staff. Using all his force, this could take a lot of hearts off the player. Once again, The player could dodge this but it would have top be a quick dodge, run away or try and block the attack with a strong enough sword/shield. Shield would be the best choice but with he sword, it would have to be iron or higher. Anything like gold, wood or stone would either break or you would take damage but it wouldn't be as bad as if you took the hit full on.
-Dance of the Phantom: This ability would give the king the ability of flight. While in the air, he has some immunity and can not be damaged.
Drops: After defeating The Ancient One, he would drop his staff. This staff would give you his powers. The staff would be useful for fighting mobs. Since it is close to an end game item, it would make some sense that its a little overpowered.
Note that I have not played Minecraft Dungeons or seen much about it. I based these attacks off my own judgement and based off the looks of The Ancient One.
1. Trapped chests are nice, but there should be some way how to spot the trap, and how to disable it.
2. As you talked about people directly tunneling to the portal, you should add something that makes one explore the dungeon. Like gathering the fragments of something, putting those together, and using that to activate the portal. One part of it might be in possession of that boss.
3. One thing I'd like to see is the dungeons being created in a semi-realistic way. Right now, they are random rooms randomly put together, creating a structure that I really can't picture anybody to have ever lived in. Have there be some logic behind the generation. Make hallways and connections of several tiers of importance, sections with a theme (like for a castle, a living area, an area for official things, a militaristic area, a scholary area, a religious area...) that bundle rooms that had a purpose (a smithy, a soldiers sleeping chamber, a magical energy accumulator...) and which would be somewhat efficient to live in. Add cave-ins or several hindrances to make this more maze-like afterwards.

@@pyraswolf4263 what do you want, stone pots? All medieval dungeons and stuff were using ceramic pots and wooden boxes, some used stone hidden pates with goods under tho. But pots were easy to use and make.

The Nameless One could be in the Portal Room, there would be an animation where he makes the portal disappears, and then the fight begins.
I would love Minecraft bosses to have little animations before the fight. The Ender Dragon could fly around and land on his nest when the player is not looking, and the Wither already has a little animation, but could also explode and destroy all the blocs around him when the fight begins.

I think the first time you kill the ancient one ,nothing drops but after defeating the ender dragon, there's something you have to do/find in the end to revive the ancient one. Reviving the ancient one could create and even stronger version but would drop the staff thing. I think if it's that late game and was really difficult it could be perfect and really fun for vanilla!

It'd be cool if when you hit the boss the first time, you the players teleport to an arena to fight it and once you defeat it it would create a portal back. It'd be cool if the arena was in the end in the void or in a completely different dimension. A nice touch would be to have enderman spectators who attack you if you don't have the sight of ender book. Also the area could have moving platforms or dispensers. Imagine if the boss got really big as well. Also endermites and or silver fish could have spawners to make it so the players and the boss have something to watch out for. It'd ad more strategy.
