- The Rowher Flats OHV Area in the Angeles Forest near Santa Carita California is a great place to ride dirtbikes, and ATVs. Rowher Flats is 10,000 acres and has 47 miles of trails to ride. It is a fun place for beginner riders to learn, and also for more advanced riders to ride. Rowher Flats is located off of the Sand Canyon exit on the 14 freeway. Rowher Flats is also sometimes called Texas Canyon.

Yes. We normally start out in the parking lot and go to the trails from there. Even little kids.
Where do you buy the adventure pass?
They sell them at any national park. I bet you can also buy them online.
Hi thanks for the information. Is it clear where the Novice motorcycle trails are? How far is that dirt road before you get to the trailhead?
+Marina Morales Here is the government map with trail ratings and rules. There is a mini track for little kids to learn on, and wide dirt roads that are easy for beginners.

do they check for the stickers? where do i get a green or red sticker?
They don't have a gate where they check every incoming vehicle for stickers, but they do have rangers in the park who might catch you if you don't have one on your motorcycle. You have to get the sticker from the DMV when you register your bike. At this park you also need to buy a $5 day pass, which they don't sell at the park. I buy them at the Arco gas station at the freeway offramp before I go into the park.

+NickShot250 I don't think so. I didn't see any campgrounds. They do have campgrounds and lots of great trails at Gorman, which is 30 or 40 miles further north.

Yes. That would be a nice addition. This place is mostly for cruising around and enjoying the scenery.
