The most underrated vocalists in Gfriend got the most viewed video out of all 3 duo performances goes to show u vocals aren't EVERYTHING stage presence dance ability and skills as a strong enough performer to bring all those strengths together also is important as a singer and this performance proves that
It took me a couple views to understand what this song was about as I don't speak Korean. Now I get it. These were the two most criticized members of Gfriend from the beginning. People said Umji wasn't pretty enough. She's a beautiful young woman, which should be pretty obvious. People said Sowon wasn't talented enough. She continues to prove that's nonsense.
Umji's features has great potential for the international stage, that's probably why they said that about Umji, as most korean or half of the population probably only want to see their standards of beauty, I'd even dare say that if Umji would be in a drama she'd probably look like she fit in the screen perfectly.
That was the first and had always been my impression of Umji.
i’m soooo confused about this too since beginning the hate that they showed to umji was so confusing. For me personally the one that attracted me into Gfriend was Umji on Rough era and until now she’s still my bias
