Always liked this song and it's interesting how the "bad news" hasn't changed much in 30+ years. Anne Murray was a class act and had so many good songs. I wish more country music was like this nowadays instead of literally a dozen songs about how some girl looks sexy in the front seat of some guy's truck (do they ever actually take someone on a date instead of just out in the truck)?

I'm going to laugh . I'm lucky to be able to get the work done. but gonna suck.. lol. that's why I allways upbeat and laugh..
You're very welcome, John. Good luck with the dental work. :)
I agree. A sense of humor is super important to be mentally healthy. The person who posted this video is in mental anguish because they're too worried about things they have no control over. He or she claims the bible is the key to fixing everything when the vast majority of Americans ARE Christian so that thesis is not gonna fly.
sadly no way in hell would this song get airplay today..........for the fact "in the good ole usa" so many countries hate on us BUT YET beg us to help them......................great song though
Do you honestly think it was any different in the 1980s? I'm here to tell you it was EXACTLY THE SAME.
Don't be stupid, I'm sure it would.
THIS is TRULY my favorite Anne Murray song, & what I truly want for this world. We ALL could use A Little Good News today!!!!!
I WAS 14 WHEN THIS SONG CAME OUT FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALLBE , SAVED ROMANS 10-13
Those are words that could apply today. Great song Anne Murray.
Hi Sharon hope you’re okay?
