It's changed so much since I was there in 1974. It's still interesting to see. Brings back memories. Thanks for the tour! 😊😊😊😊

Thank you for your service! And yes, a lot of people say it has changed and that’s kind of why I’m making these videos. Because some of these buildings will not be up very long? And there are so many people that seem to like to watch these Alameda Naval base videos? It does bring back memories for a lot of servicemen. So I should start taking out there more and fly this strong? by the way, this is the only place I could really fly at safely without getting mugged in Oakland and having no problems being by myself flying a drone. Thank you again for watching and thank you again for your nice comments. Stay strong and healthy. Bye-bye.

NICE! I saw 4 ramps into the water over by the big hanger and flight line area. They may have been used for Aircraft that did water landings (seaplanes) and taxied up the ramp to the hanger. Not sure. My first aircraft I was qualified in as an Aircrewman was the HU-16 Albatross. It was a seaplane. When I flew in them they could not do anymore water landings, just runway landings. If they have flown over water for X amount of time they stopped landing in the water. Something about the airframe. That's what I was told. There was a US Coast Guard Airstation in Biloxi, Mississippi back in the day that had no runway, just water landing then taxi up the ramp to the hanger. Way before my time. Thanks for the memories

Wow! Those are great stories. I can’t believe that you used to fly those planes. I bet you you seen a lot of action in your day! I bet you we could not find boys to put down their cell phones and do what you guys did that’s for sure. Thank you again for watching and thank you again for all those nice comments. Stay strong and healthy. Bye-bye.
