I love the size of the 13 mini but I traded it in for the 14 pro. I did not like that I had to charge my phone half way through the day every single day. I did get the MagSafe battery pack which is nice to have just in case but I did not want to be dependent on that extra charge every day.
I like using my 13 Mini for taking photos, time-lapse, and for the occasional Zoom session. Under my use, it goes over a week between charges. That’s better than my older iPhone 6S even though I had its battery replaced last year! Both machines are good for many-hours-long time-lapse videos that I make rather frequently, too. Like you, I can’t say enough good things about my Alpine Green 13!
I recently downgraded from the iPhone 14 pro max but let me tell u it ain’t no downgrade. Well it depends how u use ur phone but overall I am more than happy to make the change. I’m addition I also bought a battery case wit it. ✅💯
Great video! I recently encountered an issue with my Apple MagSafe battery-it stopped working, and when I visited the Apple store, they informed me it was no longer supported. After a few weeks of research, I decided to purchase the Anker MagGo 10,000mAh Power Bank with Kickstand (Black). Unfortunately, it covers the camera on my iPhone 13 mini! It would be incredibly helpful if you could create a video specifically for iPhone mini users, highlighting which MagSafe batteries are compatible with our devices.
@@PocketCams Congratulations on your new iPhone 16 Pro! That’s awesome! I just got my iPhone 13 mini battery replaced at the Apple store, and honestly, I think I’m still in love with this mini version. It’s the latest mini, and I’m really enjoying it. Hope you’re enjoying your new phone!
My iPhone 13 Mini has a battery health left of 86%. I use it a lot, also for navigation on bike and bringing a power bank is not that practical. So my question is: at what degradation level should I bring it in to install a new battery ? I think Apple advises at 80%. But how many more runtime minutes would I gain with a new battery at this moment?
Hi I bought a Anker battery pack but didn’t realise it was for the bigger iPhones as it’s bigger than my iPhone 13 mini, if I buy a Apple MagSafe battery pack does having a case on my iPhone affect the charging as I have a mous case on even though it’s MagSafe compatible will it take longer to charge or overheat my iPhone or the battery pack as they have to work harder to charge ?
@@PocketCams i have received mine and Id say really...dont bother with a non magsafe case. there is a huge difference in the attraction strength with and without a case. From able to withstand a gentle shake to unable to even lift itself up vertically.
According to this, using the MagSafe battery only should be fine www.makeuseof.com/can-wireless-charging-damage-your-smartphone/#:~:text=Wireless%20charging%20doesn't%20damage,your%20battery%20under%20more%20strain.
I had the 12 mini and the 13 mini. Loved the size so much. Best phones since the 4/4s. I wouldn’t consider myself a very heavy user but I would push the battery life on both devices to the max. Especially the 12 mini. I switched to the 13 pro and have not been able to kill the battery in one days worth of use. I do miss the size but the battery anxiety of the mini is real. At heart I’m still team mini for sure. Really crossing my fingers they somehow make a mini pro with 7-8 hrs SOT. Would be my dream phone for sure. I do realize it will never happen, but fun to dream about. 😊
How do I agree with you so much! Loved my 4S so much! The only annoying thing was head phone jack on top. iPhone 5 did better putting near charging port, but I personally think the iPhone 4/4S size was the best. 5S was nice & 13 mini is where I'm capping at. Might end up keeping this for 10 yrs if Apple doesn't ever make a smaller phone again, or going have switch to dark side, Android! edit: They could upgrade the battery a bit once they get rid of the sim tray among other small things. I'd assume if we took a hit on the camera, they could get a slightly bigger battery too.
Update:Back on team mini. Sold my 13 Pro and bought a 13 mini. The size is just special. I did find me an apple magsafe battery pack to compliment it. I realized the battery anxiety thing is really silly. Phones are mean’t to be used. I will replace it if it becomes so bad it can’t make it very long. Love this phone!!! So happy to be back on team mini!
It’s just unfortunate that a mini with this battery pack weighs the same as the pro max….kind of defeats the purpose of buying a small phone…better off just buying a pro max
This battery pack’s usage is mainly when you are going to have a long day with no access to charging outlets. Ex.: going to theme parks. Also, it is worth mentioning that it is recommended to slap this on first thing in the morning on such days.
Comment is logical, but not realistic because hand sizes r different. Some with the mini fits like a gloves, whereas a Pro model fits like a gloves for them & everybody in between. For me the mini I can forget about it when wearing jeans. As for battery pack that would be in a drawstring bag if I'm ever going out & about for 5hrs+ without an outlet being present. edit: can see what you mean if going out to party though...it does suck few times I did regret having mini left party @ 4am with 27% barely hanging on!

Yeah - if you're anything like a high user, it will need a top-up charge. Most days I use mine, it doesn't - But everyone's mileage will vary

Love it! It’s pretty efficient with that processor which makes battery life much better than even the 12 Mini too.
A week?! That’s impressive! How much screen-on time?
Extremely helpful!
Cheers!

Nice - and yea, not a downgrade!
One of the best thumbnails on youtube, full stop.
Lol thanks :)
Can you make a video comparing the sizes of Skinarma powerbanks with the iPhone 13 mini?
i don't have these so afraid not
👍 💯 love the 13mini
Yeah - I still do too!
I have an iPhone 8 Plus yes it a great size but I like bigger phone like the iPhone 13 Pro
Good for you. Certainly not my preference.

I'm afraid that I only have two magsafe batteries and i have just given up my 13 Mini ruclips.net/video/HjZEgRTqS7Y/видео.html

Hard to say. But I've noticed my battery life has started to drop off a lot - and my battery health is over 90%
I like the phone, and battery pack combo, however it falls short when using it with cases. Please give some case recommendations
I use a Spiegen case - a lighter one. But still need to remove the case to get a good MagSafe connection.

do you use the battery pack with a case on your phone. does it work well like stay attached
I do - theoretically, it would charge a little slower, and it doesn't feel as secure a bond - but it's workable.

Its problem if i recharge my mini 13 every day and only with apple magsave? Or with adapter is better?

Too much fun to dream about - will eke out my 13 mini for as long as I can :)
What is also tough is my phone is my device for everything. I don’t have an iPad to compliment the mini. If so no brainer to stay mini.

Yup. But not all the time. Just when you are charging. But you know that :)

Or just buy bigger IPhone and you don't have to carry two things in your pocket serving the same purpose.
Yeah nope.

Show the phone and battery pack not your face the whole time
Sure
We aren't listening to a battery pack 🤣
