Truck exhaust leak repair - Nissan Navara D40

I was trying to find the source of a hissing sound while accelerating. Discovered an exhaust vibration dampener split completely in half. Every bolt stuck when disassebling.

No, I don't think so. It didn't even sound louder which was surprising. At the same time though, I was experiencing some idle stalling, jerking, occasional injector(?) rattling and the DPF light coming on but I think those were because of a bad Suction Control Valve which I replaced

Did you get any fault codes?

Nope. I had the DPF light coming on but I'm not sure if it was because of this or due to other issues I was experiencing at the same time.

Is this the 2.5 or 2.3 diesel? Sounds a bit different from the 2.5. Good video

It's YD25DDTi so 2.5
