  • Tips you need to know before you go.
Here is a video of our first fishing trip to Lucinda and the Hinchinbrook Island waterways. We learnt a few things that I wish I’d know before going so I thought I add these handy tips into the video to help you with your first trip there. There are also highlights of our catches. Take note of the methods we are using.
Winter appears to be a slower time in these waterways so you will have to try a few things and explore about. There’s plenty of options for fishing spots and you wont be able to do it all in one go so I guess you’ll likely go back like I will.
Remember, if you have any questions, please ask them in the comments below and I’ll do my best to answer them.

Is that an Aluvan razor boat you have. If so can you do a review of it or let us know pros and cons of this boat. Looking at them atm but cannot find any reviews. Cheers

The boat in this video is a quintrex and i think its the topender model.
My boat is a Aluvan 4.8 Razor S. I look at doing a video .

@@pb_hazepilbara5985 she's a great allround boat which I use in creeks or inshore areas. My pressed hull is a bit light so in choppy conditions she is quite bumpy. Shes great to fish out of thoufh.
I had a corrosion issue which you can see in one of my other videos.

@@AdventurePrimal thanks for that, what size Suzuki are you running? Cruising speed?

      @@pb_hazepilbara5985 she's a 70.
Cruising speed depends on the chop. On average Id say 35km/hr. She gets up to 50km/hr
