thanks for sharing these - I can thank book-tubers like you for introducing me to clean/christian historical fiction! so many wonderful authors out there. Looking forward to more recommendations from you!! love your channel, Jane! 😊
Thank you for sharing these books! Sarah Sundin is one of my favorite authors, so I've got to read the Sunrise at Normandy series! I'm loving her Waves of Freedom trilogy at the moment.
So many great books! Isn't it interesting how your reading tastes change from year to year? The Sunrise at Normandy was one of the first series I read from Sarah Sundin. It made me want to read more from her. I really need to read some Rachel Fordham. Her books sound great. Happy 2025!
Historical fiction is probably my favorite genre, so this is probably the year I'll pick up a Sarah Sundin book. Also, the Carolyn Miller book intrigued for the nostalgia factor. As a native NYer, I attended so many Rangers games at MSG. Reading a contemporary story might help me recollect so many memories. Thanks for the recommendations!
I have a Rachel Fordham book picked out for July’s prompt of your yearly reading challenge. However, my Church library has a copy of another book that I could use for that prompt if it is available. Would you suggest reading “Where the Road Bends” or “Beyond Ivy Walls” as my introduction to Rachel Fordham’s writing?
I just added some books for my TBR list for 2025.❤❤ Thank you!
I am so happy you loved Positively, Penelope and Beyond Ivy Walls! Some of my favorites.😊
They're both so good!

Oh goodness, I loved that trilogy by Sarah Sundin!! I need to try some Rachel Fordham!
I still think about that trilogy, I loved it so much.

Waves of Freedom is on my to read list
The Sunrise at Normady series is definitely on my tbr for February.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
I was surprised that your most read genre had changed! You had some delightful reads. 😊
Did it really or did I just enjoy more in that genre 🤔 😅
Yaaaassss for Historical Fiction!🎉
To think I avoided it for years.
@ it’s my 2nd favourite! (I just avoid the war ones…which is a LOT!)

I have fallen in love with these two authors in the last few years.

That's cool you have attended many games. I've only had the opportunity to go to one game, but someday I'll increase that number 😅
Walking on Hidden Wings was on another booktuber’s fav list! (Can’t remember who) maybe I will add it to my TBR!
I think it was Bethany!
Yes please read it!
Robert Whitlow has a new one coming out in February. 4th I think. 😊
Yes he does.
@ I figured you would know that. 👍🏻
@amyodell7157 I had an arc and read it in Dec. Not my fave by him, but I did love the married couple.

I enjoyed both, but I'd say Beyond Ivy Walls.
Thank you!! I will definitely try to check that book out in July.
