Following is some of the missing optimal combo that I know. missing heavy donkey kick starting combo you can heavy hasho after hk punish in the corner you can walk forward with light fire ball after charged sa2, it is a safer option as it covers sa1,2 you can backward hp hdp into sa3 after hk punish counter, there should be an oki after the setup
Needed this to finally start playing my main guy just got this game and needed a place to start with Ryu and you mister delivered it with flying colors
One link I don't think I saw in the video that I think is pretty important for Ryu is 5MK -> Shinku Hadoken on PC for a clean 2840 / 3240. This works at the max normal range of 5MK, but will fail if you hit an extended limb, since you're only +8 on PC and Shinku's 7f. If it has to travel for more than 1f, it no longer combos.

Have you discovered a combo that goes before 70% damage? In S1, Ryu's max was 73-4% damage thanks to the micro walk. Also, can you do something similar to this current video but with Punish Counter set to off? Good to see all the options from there.
It depends on the situation of which one you wanna use. He’s showing multiple combos that do certain things. Some of them are supposed to be used 4 better oki and others for better dmg. It’s up to u to so which one you wanna use in any given situation.
how are you able to combo light hashogeki into back HP in the corner? edit: nevermind i guess the hashogeki hits on the last active frame. i thought hashogeki was active for 1 frame for some reason
@JFK808 not sure if you know or not but incase you don't you needa microwalk the bhp after denjin hasho, from there it's just practicing until you get it down

In the examples where you did a drive rush 6HP, can you still react with a DI if the opponent does a wake-up DI? This was a really informative video!
