I realized that is my issue with how people talk about being fat is that it isn't an identity, like some people want to make it. It is a physical trait, and unlike some traits, it can be changed. You can change if you are fat, and so many people would rather just say that everyone else is the problem, than accept the part their choices play in their situation. If they are responsible, the have to do the work, if not, they don't, and it's someone else's fault.
As a college student, Tess Holiday really is relatable. The amount of bullshitting and leaping to conclusions she does is reminiscent of how I write my papers.
She isn't anorexic. It's a slap in the face to everyone who suffers from real anorexia. She does not suffer from anorexia she might suffer from binge eat disorder at the most where she'll starve for a day and then binge that's possible. But that isnt anorexia.
I would have never eaten so much in public, I would come up with 1000 excuses not to eat in front of people. It was one of the things I had to work on at the beginning of my journey, eating in front of people without feeling anxious and like a freaking pig. Even now 4 years into my recovery I sometimes feel weird eating in front of people, however I tell myself no one cares and it makes me feel better.
@@rachr9652 I understand that a lot. I wouldn’t even eat in the car (as a passenger). I was too scared someone would look over and see me eating. Now, I’ll eat anything while actually driving and idgaf 😂 it took a lot to get there though. Like a lot. I wouldn’t even get my license bc I was too scared I would get hungry and have to go through a drive thru or be running late and have to eat in the car. We’re so awesome, coming up through that. GO US!! Go everyone in this thread 🥳🥳🥳
When I was in line for Space Mountain a lady on a fatmobile rolled up to the front of the line and then couldn't fit in the seat without stuff hanging out. When they tried to get her to get out of the ride she very audibly screamed at this young worker for 10 minutes straight. Calling him a "fatphobic white male" and other random stuff. When they sent a tiny black employee over to talk to her she screamed that she wouldn't understand and had thin privilege. Eventually they put this x-shaped strap on her and sent her on the ride and then they were able to start loading people on again. The young guy came over afterwards and apologized to me like it was somehow his fault and he looked like he was about to cry. These people are miserable bullies and will get their way no matter what, crying victim all along.
So they're just going to let this happen until someone (or some people) get injured, or worse? Big yikes. One of my friends told me that during her trip to Disney this year there were severely overweight adult women screeching about not being let on rides... until they were let on. My desire to visit Disney parks again someday is fading fast.
I’ve seen Tess IRL when I worked at LUSH. She was a horrific person, cruel, and unnecessarily bossy and acted like she was an A list celebrity. she looks sluggish and nothing like her photoshopped images. She had gigantic cystic acne blemishes all over her face, and was constantly out of breath with each step. EDIT: I edited out my comment about cystic acne being a sign of poor health this was a super ignorant comment of me to make
I'm not sure about cystic acne being a sign of poor health. I think it's more complicated than that. My dad had pretty bad skin until he took accutane, and this was when he was biking 15 miles a day for his commute and eating healthy.
I wasn't aware she had kids. I'd like to hear Tess answer honestly how she would feel if her kids became morbidly obese. As a parent myself who struggles with weight, it's not something I would ever want for my kids, and our health will have a huge impact on theirs.
I don't think that she cares a lot about her kids. They're just accessories for her. A lot of people talk about her beeing obese. But much more important is how dangerous and toxic she is. She is evil tbh.
@@godless165 I hate how she says that but in reality as a mother she'd be worried abt their children's health. Like, would she be okay them being addicted to drugs? I don't think so. The reality is this fat thing gives her money, and she won't be losing that bag anytime soon.
Tess is the perfect example of this dangerous "body positivity" movement. We are watching someone eat themselves to death in real-time while cheering her on as brave and an example for others. Her unhealthy lifestyle is going to catch up in a spectacular way, and she won't do anything to change because she thinks she is living her best life.
Having personally been obese in the past, there is no way you can tell me that this is a happy or fulfilling way to live. Your body is constantly uncomfortable or in pain. People like Tess are dangerous and damaging to vulnerable people.
Exactly. There's no way she can be comfortable walking about due to the excess weight and the pressure it puts on knees and joints and it's ridiculous for her to try to be a role model for "body positivity" when she's so unhealthy and uncomfortable.
Facts She's annoying. She's super insecure (and I understand why), but she's still bragging about her self-confidence and that she's gorgeous every second, she's hypocritical, has a fragile ego and is thirsty for validation
Exactly check out her recent IG pics in a string bikini only but n back view if she so proud of her lard why not show a front view of her massively overhanging mid thigh level gunt
I wore 6 or 7 layers of bulky clothing to hide my anorexia in high-school. I was so anorexic I weighed 79 pounds at 5' 8" tall. People literally didn't look at me lot of the time because I looked terrible. And still I would've never admitted to having it like she says she does. I was ashamed of how I looked. But today 10 years later I look pretty normal in recovery. 125 pounds at my height feels better and now I try helping others who suffer from it. Anorexia = literal self starvation. I believe, professionally, that Tess Holiday suffers from a binge eating ED.... but can her Drs all be wrong? Very puzzling.
@@sidb5406 it makes it look like they're being hyperextended. As someone with sketchy joints, her pictures make my skin crawl. I think it's just an illusion because of her weight distribution, but I've seen body builder blowouts and looking at her makes me feel like I'm bout to see another one. Imagine being like 10 and some lady's knee explodes on you while you're behind her in line.

My hubby is friends with people who went to school with Tess Holiday, they all said she was a regular Regina George style mean girl. She’s also haves always been a bit chunky, I’m not saying she’s never had anorexia, but I doubt it truly.
Honestly I’m not surprised about your husbands friends response. If Tess didn’t have a weight problem she would be making fun of people her size without a doubt
I love how she's "recovering" from anorexia, but was probably eating lots of junk food. It takes years to fully recover from an ED, you're not kidding anyone Tess.
Anorexic is a medical term, if you loose weight too fast in too little time you can still be obese and anorexic, medically it’s possible… I’m not saying she’s on the right but you are quite ignorant and loud
@@sandram1644 You don't have to be rude. I know an obese person can be anorexic, eating disorders are mental disorders, anyone can have them. But the whole Tess thing is a lie. I have an eating disorder and recovering, is not an easy thing to do, everyday is a choice you have to take to avoid relapsing. Tess says all the time she has been "recovering" but goes to Disneyland and eats candycorn and other foods with a lot of calories. Someone who is really recovering from anorexia would never do that, it's a mental struggle. I'm not ignorant, I have been struggling with this for more than 8 years. I don't why I'm even explaining this to you.
For someone who says she’s “confident” she is waaay to insecure by her own pics. And this is not being fat phobic, working in a BBQ restaurant I’ve met people that don’t care about what people think when they are eating….
I worked at a "plus suze" dress shop years ago. The manager (a very large woman herself) banned those carts!! lol The store was too crowded and the women were crashing into each other and everything else. They'd often "park" the cart then walk around to shop. Several carts would be taking up space (or being crashed into) so she said FORGET IT!! No more carts!
Imo, the fact that Tess is obsessed with being viewed as anorexic shows that she DOES care about the fact that she’s fat. I’m a recovering bulimic, not anorexic, but I was diagnosed with anorexia binge/purge subtype when my bmi fell below 18.5. Anorexia is defined by the dramatic weight loss and the difference in diagnosis only matter for my treatment because it meant I need weight restoration. I don’t understand why people are obsessed with identifying into anorexia without the suffering & that’s exactly what Tess is trying to do.
Anorexia and bulimia almost killed my 2 years ago. I went through something similar, just know recovery is possible!! And the fact that you’re aware and getting better is amazing. Hope everything is going well and you are feeling a little better :) god bless
Great point! She’s already claimed to being an unapologetic binger. And she is 450 pounds (or more) from binge eating. She claims she has “atypical” anorexia and that diagnosis is also inaccurate.
Fat people can be diagonosdd as anorexic based on behavior like extreme calorie restriction and calorie counting and weight onsesssion the BSM changed in 2010 and though I’ve never been anorexic I have as a fat person restricted what I ate. SHE however was not anorexic she was seen eating a full sheet cake lying about it
Hey! I was diagnosed with ATYPICAL anorexia binge purge subtype. So we kind of have the same diagnosis! Just size difference. 😂 I actually got my blue recovery chip last night!
I'm not sure. I think she is just mad because a photo that shows just how big she has gotten has surfaced and her ego has been injured. She is super controlling with photographers and has actually burned bridges by making insane demands of the people who photograph her. Needless to say, if she was really as happy with her weight as she claims, she wouldn't be acting like this.
@@kyrus4989 Ah.... I barely pay attention to her so I didn't know about her history with photographers. Makes sense. I completely agree that she (and others like her) should show their supposed confidence by not being mad at people for showing them as they are.
I follow alot of fitness channels and hear a lot about anorexia. I understood how bad it could be but I never really knew until my daughter was just recently diagnosed with it. Having to be in the hospital with her and watching her waste away still brings tears to my eyes. It's one of those you never know until you know kind of things. I had empathy before but now I have a whole new understanding. When Tess first came out as anorexic, I just laughed and was like yeah right. Now with the understanding I have it just pisses me off. She is basically taking my daughters and every other person's suffering and using it as another shield of denial. Another shield to try and keep people from speaking the truth to her. She makes me sick in a whole new way. 😡
@Not Chris yes cause it's always that easy 🙄🤦♀️ I never said I didn't do any of those things plus more, but if you have to leave comments like this then you clearly don't know what your talking about. Try educating yourself, but even if you do you still won't know until your in it. I just pray you continue to be lucky you never have to deal with something as insidious as this.
@Not Chris doesn’t work that way, most often it matches with some form of body dysmorphia so the body you see isn’t what the person with anorexia sees. I will always see myself as big as Tess holiday even at a size 0, to convince myself I’m actually small or hungry, is impossible- it’s literally like lying to myself. Even though I’m weight recovered and do eat more attentively now, it’s taken forever to not completely hate myself and hate food, I still struggle even having mirrors around. And really I get where tess is coming from, she is bsing herself and it’s obvious.
@@melodycryderman110 I'm sorry you have to go through this. It is a very insidious disease that I wouldn't wish on anyone. It's never an easy fix and it's a long tough road to recovery. I wish you the best and hope you continue to take care of yourself.
@@honestyisadyingvirtue it’s okay, it actually in a way lead me to finding my “purpose” in life. I love neuroscience and I am very passionate about one day obtaining my doctorate in psychiatry to help others. There was a mix of reasons as to why I ended up developing anorexia, I was diagnosed with ADHD later on in life and individuals with ADHD tend to have higher risks of developing depression, poor self image, and acting on impulsive behaviors. My mom was a single parent of 4, and we moved so often I struggled to keep up with the changing curriculums and I was bullied quite a bit, and with all the marketing we are fed to sell us something unattainable it was very difficult for me to navigate those obstacles throughout my teen years. I wasn’t diagnosed properly until a year ago, and now that I know why I was so vulnerable, I can reassure myself that those intrusive feelings are projections of how I thought others saw me rather than how they really do.
@Not Chris I’m glad you don’t feel the need to follow through with that; but, at this point in my life it isn’t that I have any will to starve myself, I’m simply conditioned to not feel a need for food, it’s a chore, and because it’s not really enjoyable I don’t really remember to eat until the end of the day usually right before I sleep, and mainly because of nausea. It’s not a great feeling, I’m more a victim of circumstance than one of neglect, and honestly it would be nice to enjoy food, I don’t like thinning hair, frail nails, or the moments I’ve been to weak to walk up 2 stairs- and now I’m susceptible to relapsing whenever I’m stressed because I develop stronger food aversions during high stress. It really just sucks.
For real, you cannot be morbidly obese and anorexic at the same time. To maintain that amount of fat you have to be shoveling in junk food constantly every day. That is directly contradictory to anorexia. The notion is so offensive to people who actually suffer from anorexia.
Okay but like, I noticed a huge difference in my Disney experience from the first time I went (260lbs) to when I went again 7 months later (220lbs). It was honestly like night and day. It really is miserable and exhausting to go when you're overweight. Not that I'm not still overweight, but those 40lbs made an world of difference.
I know what you're saying is true so that just cements the fact that Tess is just flat out lying when she says she's having fun and doing fine. If you're miserable only 40 pounds heavier just imagine 250 pounds heavier. I can't really...

Maybe keep that shit to yourself or at least not share that with the whole world. The kid is in high school, and his mom gave bullies so much ammunition with that.
I'm pretty sure Tess is just used to eating very large amounts of food... So the days se actually eats 1200 - 2200 calories she believes she's "starving herself" when in reality she's just eating like a normal human being. Maybe that's why she feels "anorexic"... I mean, when I started losing weight I had that same reality check... And the amount of food I used to be able to shove down in one sitting and then act normal is very impressive to me now.

Thank you Michelle 👍👍 You remind me of a long time friend who laid down the harsh truth to me. At a point in my life I weighed 156kg. I lived in a dangerous state of denial. I couldn’t see my feet, breathe, sleep, stay awake, move properly…. It was hideous for many years. Then she set me straight. I made the hard decision to change. The best thing I’ve ever done. I was gonna make a reality cleaver joke about the poke but I just don't want to deal with the comments from group a or b who take things super duper seriously online.
Truth. My mother-in-law died after getting you-know-what two weeks ago. She was overweight with diabetes. She followed all the policies, got the poke, and it didn't matter. Doctor blatantly said it was her lifestyle that did it. So why are these policies not being tweaked? Makes you wonder.
You mean Soros/Gates, or Elon Musk and Grimes fantasy about actually acting out Drax's plan from Moonraker and nerve gassing all the ugly people and repopulating it from space or something with only pretty people?
That article was practically sucking up to her. If it had been more flattering, it would have come across as satire. And she still wants more praise. Girl. Come on.
She is burning the few bridges she has left. They won't be covering her anymore after this, and she needs the press to revive her practically dead career. Most of her clients have dropped her for lying about her size, photographers don't want to work with her, her previous modeling agency had to drop her, and she lashes out at other plus sized models regularly. At this point the media is the only ones left kissing her butt, but they will turn on her pretty soon too if she keeps this shit up.
She just needed content to reinforce her 'everyone in the world is fatphobic towards me' narrative. Doesn't matter what they actually said, it's a picture of her without filters so it's ✨fatphobia ✨
Like with the whole worst dress fiasco. You know Tess or someone who works for her went out of their to find that. She has such a perpetual victim complex despite being better off than a lot of people
Honestly, as a recovering anorexic who has been suffering for five years, hospitalized twice and tube fed, I find it very offensive when Tess says she had anorexia just for attention. Of course, all people with this disorder suffer a lot regardless of its severity, but it is evident that she does not have this disorder specifically, she may have BED, but not anorexia. By the way, great video as always Michelle, hearing you speaking facts is like fresh air😌👌🏻
Yeah, as a person who has also been struggling with anorexia I can say that not everyone has to look like Eugenia Cooney necessarily, however, I personally think that she might have BED. A side effect of that is poor body image/“body dysmorphia” (which we can’t prove if she does doesn’t have) and food guilt. But even if she only ate the calories she posted and nothing else it wouldn’t be considered restrictive. We also know this isn’t true from paparazzi photos and weight gain.
@@madisondoesherthing i know this is an old comment but i hope you can find peace with recovery. eating disorders are hell and anorexia especially almost killed me twice. you have to choose recovery every single day for the rest of your life, but i promise that it is so worth it because you can actually HAVE a life once your mind gets less obsessed with food. best of luck and healing energy to you, friend. you are not alone.
That was a very benign article. I’m guessing no one else covered her Disney trip, so she couldn’t find one with more offensive messaging to actually respond to.
I honestly believe that when a person or people are speaking of her, and it's not 100% positive or praising her, then to her, that's being fatphobic. Even if the language itself is neutral. She just has that vibe about her.

She lies all the time, but she provides wish fulfillment for many people who are obese. They see her and want to believe everything she says because that means that they can also live a "glamorous" life. They don't want to question it because then they would have to admit eating too much causes weight gain and other problems that directly contradict the lavish lifestyle Tess pretends to have.

Hi, former Disney cast member here who worked both on and backstage before. She could totally have been walking around the park as i dont think too many people would have recognized her, but from experience with celebrities that go to the park they typically get a guide that will help hold their things, push the strollers, and DRIVE them around backstage to get to the attractions. They really don’t have to walk anywhere but on the ride itself if they dont want to. This keeps things from getting chaotic at the parks when a celebrity visits. Anyone can really purchase this luxury but it will cost you a pretty penny for the Disney Royal treatment lol.
I used to weight 210 lbs back in 2007 and went to Disneyland for vacation, that was the most excrutiating week of my life, so much walking and standing made my feet incredibly sore and the thigh chafing was unbearable, i can't imagine how miserable Tess felt.

You got this! I am so happy that you were taking control of your life and health! I shattered my right hip about two years ago and put on a few sizes and was not feeling good. It's been a long and slow process but I'm getting there, eating healthy, still enjoying dessert (why else eat?), and focusing on being better to my body and health. Yes, I could probably kick it up a notch and loose more at a quicker pace but sustainability is the key. I now make my own food which has been HUGE, and awesome for my mental health and relationship. I try to eat natural and organic when I can, go out for daily walks, do light weights 3-4 times a week. I just got back into some jeans I couldn't pull past my hips two years ago, and boy didn't that feel nice! Just concentrate on the health aspect and the weight will follow. I recommend reading up on dietary restriction and best exercise for your blood and metabolic type. Try to figure out if your estrogen level of high and honestly the mood stabilizer was key for me. Depression is a silent killer, makes you sanitary and crave sweets and does not allow for a healthy mindset. You could be completely different, but this is what is working for me! I highly suggest reading up on these things and incorporating them into your diet and exercise mantra. Also, for me keeping everything neat and organized is another helper and keeps me on my toes. Good luck on your journey!
Same man that was my wake up moment went to Hershey park and couldn't fit on the ride shit was humiliating and i was like I didn't know i got that big because i most definitely went there proud and fat thinking it was okay. I watched others get kicked off and make excuses about the ride being for small people but literally it would be unsafe just
I’m saying this and NOT backing down because it’s been hurting so bad. Tess does NOT have anorexia, has NEVER suffered from anorexia and it is a slap in the face to anyone, including myself who ACTUALLY suffers with anorexia! Starving yourself for a day or two, ISNT anorexia. Some people could possibly have anorexic tendencies at times, this does not mean you’re anorexic. It is not a pretty name you get to put on yourself to feel cute and quirky. It is so exhausting. You’re scared to eat foods, scared to eat in front of people, terrified of gaining weight, there’s just so much that we suffer from individually. It is the worst thing ever. A simple portion of the medical definition of anorexia nervous is also having a BMI below 17.5 I’m sorry I just struggle with her claiming this
I'm glad you aren't backing down. I don't have an eating disorder, but I have a degree in psych and did academic research on eating disorders, and it is so appalling how many people I have seen claim to have anorexia who clearly do not have it. I hate how anorexia is seen as glamorous. Tess probably has an ED, and it is probably BED, but BED is not "glamorous" and she wants to feel like a super model.
it's similar to people who claim to suffer from clinical deppression because they get sad sometimes, or saying they have generalized anxiety when they you had an anxious moment. That kind of people increase the stigma that these disorders have.
I had anorexia years ago and it morphed into a different ED. Even though I'm no longer anorexic, it's still upsetting that she's claiming to be suffering from it when she's obviously not. Plus saying that she's in recovery could further harm those who are either trying to recover or who are being forced into recovery. They see her claiming to be in recovery and so large just furthers their fears about gaining massive amounts of weight.

I'm also Dutch, and I can genuinely say I've only seen 1 or 2 Dutch people that were Tess's size in my life. Also the roads and shops are so narrow here, not to be rude I don't think she could comfortably fit in most public places here
can confirm. i went to disney world in florida once and now i have changed my definition of 'fat'. i saw about 15 people in scooters in that one day, and about 7 more in each walmart i went to, plus many other fat people that weren't in scooters. i feel bad for them honestly
I once saw mother, father and adult daughter, all the size of Tess, in a flixbus in Germany. The bus literally tilted to the side when then entered. But there are not as many of them in europe than in the US
I have genuinely become addicted to her videos. Ohhhh lord so entertaining. Love the attitude, open and honest approach. Funny , witty, sharp tongue but not offensive. I am also overweight (very slowly working on it) and find her motivational and hella funny. Definitely not offended or bothered, it is refreshing for someone to unapologetically be themselves and not some watered down version to please others. Love LOVE this.
It's really painful to talk about this but I've had enough! This body positivity movement should not include the morbidly obese. My sister was morbidly obese from the age of 14. I tried several times to talk to her but my family would tell me I was being cruel and that I had no right to talk to her because I was naturally thin. Yeah right, I eat right and bust my butt and I'm told by overweight people it's some sort of magical blessing. My sister died from a massive stroke due to high blood pressure. She was only 44. She was 5'2 and well over 300 lbs. when she passed. I kick myself every day for worrying more about her feelings than her health. I miss her every day. Please speak kindly but speak to those you love if the are morbidly obese!! Don't be an idiot like me.
@@junkabella6324 , thank you so much!! Your kind words mean a lot to me. I'm doing okay. That's why I love this channel so much. Our girl here tells it like it is! Thanks again for responding. Have a happy Halloween!
Or maybe she was the abuser. I swear every time there's a divorce its ALWAYS the man's fault. Never mind men get abused at the same rates as women. Just knowing Tess's personality, she probably was an abuser.
Interesting. I thought this video would be offensive but she actually intelligently uses facts to validate her opinions instead of just being angry and emotional. Refreshing. I hate how people are misusing mental health labels because it is trendy right now. Mental health is 100 percent real but people are taking minor normal struggles and saying they have a disorder because there is no way to prove or disprove it. It's frustrating and invalidates people who are struggling severely with these issues. We need to do better.
Well said - there’s a difference between glorifying obesity and being accepting of it. Tess holiday has a chip on her shoulder; like sis everyone’s life is hard. Everyone’s dealing with something difficult. She wants to have her cake and eat it too but that’s not how it works. You can’t trick people into thinking you’re gorgeous. You can make it normal to be obese and that’s fine in some ways Bc Bullying and fat shaming doesn’t help people who are obese but neither does celebrating it. The real solution is structural. It’s about regulating what’s in food, paying people more so their lives are less stressful so they don’t binge eat as much. Make people less lonely. So many things can help people recover from a kind of chronic food addiction. But this society makes it very difficult to recover from basically any kind of addiction. Her claiming anorexia is about her own narcissism , and at the same time it’s a slap in the face to actually anorexic people and women who are very thin and wish they weren’t. Like she thinks obese people are the only people who have issues with their body or appearance. Talk about a victim complex. Like I’m middle eastern. We got called terrorists and still do for decades. Do I get to gripe about that and endlessly whine about it ?
I went to Knots Scary Farm this past weekend and this young teenage boy and his sister were ahead of us on a rollercoaster ride. When it was their turn, the sister was able to fit but not the boy. One of the workers even tried forcing the seat down so it could clamp but it still was no use. Everyone was watching, some people laughing. I almost started to cry. Eventually the boy just forces himself up and walked out, very upset. He sat down on the stairs with his head down. His sister stayed on the ride, she also had a very sad look on her face. If I had to guess, I'd say he was around 300lbs. I can't imagine how they both must have felt.
This happens to our kids in Brazilian jiu jitsu so much and I get so heartbroken for these kids. When we do things like bear crawls you can see it on their faces, the other kids have no problems, but the fat kids have so much extra weight they can't support themselves with their arms so it's so difficult for them. As a coach I don't even know how to help them. The hour they are training can't help how their parents are feeding them at home. I wish I could let them know they don't have to be this way, but their parents have all the control and they're equally obese. I can only encourage them to complete challenging movements in class.
I had that happen to me at a carnival in my hometown. I was mortified that they couldn't get the gate to close over my fat stomach. I made changes after that happened.
Right?!?! I was thinking that as soon as she mentioned her kid. I thought maybe she adopted, but adoption services would look at her and say "If she can't take care of herself properly she clearly can't take care of an impressionable, fragile and vulnerable human being. This kid is better off in foster care or homeless than they would be with her" so it must be her biological child, which only confuses me more . . . I call it 'a story for The XXXXXXXXXXL Files'
@@uranie5546 yes, but obesity usually stops women from ovulating....so its rare that they can get pregnant without significant help. That's why I'm confused.
Holy crap. I’ve been a big boy at 6’0 almost 300. I’m back to as my father said to “being a man shaped man, not a pear shaped man” at around 180. It was actual work to even get to that size… I would eat a giant Mickey d breakfast, snacks all day, polish off a bigass restaurant lunch by the office, snacks all day again, then a giant dinner… plus dessert… midnight snack consisting of a whole ass meal to… like every day. Just not overeating and doing the lightest exercises like walking around a bit or going for a 30min swim a few times a week will make most people drop pounds like crazy.
Considering that most celebrities and influencer use photo shop, filters, makeup and angles to make themselves look perfect online I find unflattering paparazzi photos a good in the world. It's good for girls too see that these people are not perfect in real life.
I dislike that the celebrities are kinda stalked by them, but i do like that there are realistic photos out there. I definitely agree that all of the filters and Photoshop mess with people's perception of bodies and beauty
Yeah i agree but i hate that theu stalk them then body shame them saying stuff like "omg look their ugly without filters omg lmao" yeah i dont like that . Maybe they could idk ASK and not shame them for making themselves look perfect for media
After watching Michelle's videos for the past year I am, at last, offended - deeply offended. _The Daily Mirror_ has lost all journalistic credibility with this article. They state Tess Holliday was carrying a "Daffy Duck bag" when it is clearly Donald (Disney), not Daffy (Warner Brothers).
The fact Tess tries to act like she cares about her supporters when she scammed them years ago and never took responsibility nor admitted any wrong doing.
No no no, Tess is a vision of perfect health and vitality 💪. Anyone who thinks a 400+lbs woman with a body that resembles a heavily padded ski suit is "unhealthy" has been hoodwinked by the fashion industry...the same one that's propping her up as a vision of modern-day beauty...wait, wut? 🤔
I still can’t wrap my head around her saying she’s anorexic. I’m no medical professional but it seems like the exact opposite to me. She does seem to me to be very irritated tired and down every time I see her interviewed
I’m sure I’m late to the party saying this but that article seemed like the literal nicest article ever written about her??? It literally only talked about how relaxed and happy she seemed? Like unless it was the shadiest, most ironic article of all time?? Am I missing something???!?! Lol

As someone who has always struggled with my weight I am so over the toxic body positivity. There are lots of people who are slightly overweight and should just be happy with their body instead they are developing eating disorders or hating themselves and game ending themselves which is way more unhealthy than just being 10 ot 20 lbs overweight. When you are 5'5 and over 400lbs that's not a bit chubby. That's not a just love your body amount of weight. I'm a big guy (broad shoulders and build regardless of any extra flab) I'm 6 foot tall dude who works a physical job who weighs like 240 and I definitely feel it in my knees.

Dear lord.
So they're just going to let this happen until someone (or some people) get injured, or worse? Big yikes. I love how she's "recovering" from anorexia, but was probably eating lots of junk food. It takes years to fully recover from an ED, you're not kidding anyone Tess.
She probably pukes after eating because she puts too much food in her stomach and it has nowhere to go but up....? So in her mind....anorexia.
The whole anorexia thing is such BS

@@sandram1644 You don't have to be rude. I know an obese person can be anorexic, eating disorders are mental disorders, anyone can have them. But the whole Tess thing is a lie.

She loves to respond to "haters" and then act like she doesn't care. lol.

Her saying she’s anorexic is absolutely mind boggling and terrible. She is disgusting to me. Her ignorance, her condescending ways.

That was a very benign article. I’m guessing no one else covered her Disney trip, so she couldn’t find one with more offensive messaging to actually respond to.
When she sees a photo of herself, how she really looks. She can't cope with reality, she is in total denial about herself, she is killing herself.

She straight up claimed that knowing the effects it would have..

You can't win with her. Articles are never good enough. She'll always be upset about something.
Yep. She's generally miserable so it doesn't matter what you say. She will always be bitter about it.

You got this!!!

A simple portion of the medical definition of anorexia nervous is also having a BMI below 17.5
I’m sorry I just struggle with her claiming this
I'm glad you aren't backing down.

Exactly, what a slap in the face to the hundreds of millions of people in the world struggling with food insecurity and extreme poverty. Tess there's people that are dying...
She's the person who would look at her empty bank account and complain that she's been robbed, all the while she has a trunk full of new clothes and new cellphone.
Well, some years ago she used charity money (that was supposed to go to victims of domestic abuse) to take a trip to Disney, so she's probably done exactly what you said at least once.

She’s my Inspiration to not let myself go ever
Eventually the boy just forces himself up and walked out, very upset. He sat down on the stairs with his head down. His sister stayed on the ride, she also had a very sad look on her face. If I had to guess, I'd say he was around 300lbs. I can't imagine how they both must have felt.

They state Tess Holliday was carrying a "Daffy Duck bag" when it is clearly Donald (Disney), not Daffy (Warner Brothers).
they crossed the line with this one
Maybe they rewatched Roger Rabbit's club-piano scene between Daffy and Donald too many times?
😂
this video is sponsored by ME 🤣 girl you just earned yourself a subscriber
No dislikes because Michelle is right.
I’m offended they called Donald “Daffy.”
The fact Tess tries to act like she cares about her supporters when she scammed them years ago and never took responsibility nor admitted any wrong doing.
Your dedication to making your clickbait as offensive as possible is honestly inspiring, I love it. XD
I'm offended that the article called Donald Duck "Daffy Duck"
Yes!!! Me too! I was scrolling these comments just to see if anyone else noticed. 😬
Right Daffy isn't even Disney, he's Warner Bros 🙄
Same! Wtf 😒
I'm more triggered by the fact they called her bag "daffy duck" when it's blatantly Donald duck! Tut tut! Know your ducks yo!
Exactly! 💯🦆
When I was 345 I couldn’t even walk across a Sam’s Club without my back, hips and knees SCREAMING so I know she’s hurting.
She's literally the Michelin man
I still can’t wrap my head around her saying she’s anorexic. I’m no medical professional but it seems like the exact opposite to me. She does seem to me to be very irritated tired and down every time I see her interviewed
She just said it to stay revelant.
I've always said that "My humor is darker is than my inner thighs"...
Then, I found your channel. I'M HOME! 👋
I’m sure I’m late to the party saying this but that article seemed like the literal nicest article ever written about her??? It literally only talked about how relaxed and happy she seemed? Like unless it was the shadiest, most ironic article of all time??
Am I missing something???!?! Lol
Tess pretending she had anorexia while she was morbidly obese is the biggest insult to those actually struggling with anorexia is disgusting
As a Floridian, I'm offended that she called it Disneyland. It's Disney World!!!
Also, I can't watch her eating that cake, like it was just one piece and not a whole cake. It makes me ill.
disney world and disneyland are two different parks. she was in anaheim not orlando
@@misseselise3864 I thought Michelle said that she went to Disney World in Orlando. If she was in California, then I'm not offended, as she would have gotten the name correct. I'm still offended every time I see her eating that cake. I need warning that I'm about to be grossed out😊
*Fat person calling themselves fat*
Society: yeah you go! You're body is beautiful!
*Thin person calling a fat person fat*
Society: thats fatphobia how dare you aaa twitter cancel them
To be fair, I don't think weight is so much a factor in that scenario, but rather self-deprecating vs insulting another person
@@Hiphop618 good point
@@Hiphop618 I see what you mean. Yet, I hear endless talk about how we should stop weaponizing the word, ‘fat’ and use it as a simple descriptor. So, if a thin person says that Tess is fat, it’s just true. Dragging someone because they’re fat is not okay. That shit is just mean.
Our self-indulgent queen did it AGAIN, raising the bar for deflecting narcissists everywhere. what a BRAVE WARRIOR 😭
I don't hate myself for being heavier than I should be but I'd never try and make anyone think being overweight is OK! This is getting ridiculous.
