I've been going through a tough spiritual battle and a seriously emotional time with a lot of questions. Feeling hopeless and feeling like I can't go back to the Father. Then this song finds it's way into my life. As I sang the lyrics out loud in that moment of darkness, I got to "I've got nothing else fit for a King, except for a heart singing hallelujah" and LOST IT lol. Listened to it on repeat on and off for about 2 weeks, changed my entire walk and view. I felt down trodden and cast out. This song reminded me that our identity is not in who we are today or what we've done before, we are a Child of God and that's the way He sees us and that's how much He loves it. There is always hope, God has never abandoned us. If we feel distant, it's usually because we walked away from God. Jesus told his Disciples before going to the cross, "I will send someone and He will never leave you" (the Holy Spirit). If God is quiet, it's because He is drawing us deeper (deep calls to deep in Psalm 42:7). God bless you all!
