Hi Rachel! I'm so glad that your video was in my recommended! I've been enjoying your beautiful houseplants and beautiful personality these pass couple of months As soon as you presented the peperomia maculosa, I said that's the one! I couldn't remember the name after coming across it four years ago so of course I went immediately online to look for one! The whale fin, oh boy! I purchased two leaves about a year and a half ago, one was a foot and a half and the other a foot. Now, I have seven leaves and they range from two and a half to four feet tall! So i had to search high and low for an affordable pot wide and deep enough to hold it. I totally did not expect it to get that big! Its beautiful and easy care. Thanks for sharing! Whew! I can feel that pain! Take care, and take your time getting in and out. What happened was........ to the Monstera! The problem is people always don't like to let Monstera dry out however if you water early it will warn you with yellow leaves! Still a beautiful plant! It will recover!
Oh, this baby, let me know! Normally, I let it droop a little. I don't know what went through my head with the last watering. The leaves won't let go. I don't force them off. I will wait......

Hi Rachael! What a great line up! I may be the only plant person who's not a fan of Hoyas....but there is one exception...I LOVE the Compacta!! Yours looks GREAT! And that Adansonii is a beauty...I want to be like you when I grow up, I can't leave the yellow leaves on (gritting my teeth as I type this, LOL!) Glad your hand is better...ouch!

I've killed two but it is so dry where I live (high desert of southern Colorado) I do not have any cabinets or a greenhouse (my house is very small!) I tried Pebble trays and misting, but never got it right!! Beautiful plants! I love your videos Rachel!!

I've don't think they really need the humidity as much as lower light to make them happy. This one was a challenge for me as well.

The Maui Tahiti is actually a Mayoi Tahiti. I don't know what was going on in my brain with that one. LOL!!!
Dave told me that this plant is classified on its own. It is not technically a philodendron at all. It does not have the same growth pattern as a philo. the leaves emerge from a small pod filled with plant fibers. It is an amazing this to see.

Greetings! I repurpose everything and make them into plant pots. The really large clear pot is actually a juice dispenser that I added drainage holes to. the glass containers come from hobby lobby.
i have been wanting one of those pepporomia, but i haven't found one yet without black spots 😢 It's beautiful!
