Compared to traditional agriculture $10 a seed may seem like a lot but in my experience if you actually get to know a breeder that charges a premium you will find a keeper from one pack and then you pretty much have unlimited amounts of that herb as long as you keep the cut healthy. How much is that really worth? I bought a pack of six for $150 of Lovin In Her Eyes genetics and I found a keeper in the first two that I've popped, I've currently harvested over a pound of it in the past 9 months out of a 2x4. I would say that's well worth the investment.

I’ll be honest, I started with ILGM, and I had an interesting experience with them. They went crazy overboard to “make it right” I was really impressed with how they handle it. Can’t say how good the beans will be until grown. But still impressed with what they did.
found literally 1 seed in half p bag, grew it outdoor and it wasn't true to the parent, however, the plant had a few seeds due to some light stress. kept the seeds and eventually got the right pheno i was looking for. strong gassy, skunky, diesel funky smell with very light grapefruit undertone.
expect to wipe out few times before you find what you want, then clone it till your purchase was profitable for that seedpack, keep cloning it to cover other losses too, Ive ran through many seedpacks that were waveless.

And if you can get cuts it’s most likely just a random fem seed off the net that’s never been grown out before, not many people have something special. I too used NASC to get some Ethos seeds. Came a day early. So far so good. Gave five free seeds with a Ethos multipak. I see they have had Mephisto seeds available for some time now. Hopefully Mephisto has ramped up the supply so they don't sell out in a day. I was tempted but I'm over budget now as is.
I love listening to your conversations. Keep up the great content. Personally I enjoy the journey and finding my "own" genetics. I personally don't go out and look for a cultivar. Call me crazy but I hunt bag seeds and love it. Find your genetics and focused on growing the best version of that that you can. Good luck in the garden.
a lot of fake seed companies out there who buy white label seeds wholesale & name the strains after what is popular . .. & a lot of these companies are big & well known too . My advice is buy from a actual breeder not a seedbank . & Rob you are spot on about ILGM , this company is one big serious scam

I agree $10 a bean is way 2 much and turns folks away. I'm happy with a 3pk for $15 or even $20. But once it's 10 bucks, it's too much. I always look for sales or buy 1 get 1 deals.
I just grow bagseed from 92 to 98. I would only save seeds from smoke I liked so no question if I'll like it. Also all the seeds in a bag grow exactly the same.

If it’s legal to get beans/cuts online or from a business in your region I feel like the company should have to prove that they are sending what they claim they have. There should be something to hold these rip offs accountable and make the industry more transparent and accountable. I think it’s so damaging for honest genuine companies to have companies in the same industry intentionally send a customer genetics that they didn’t order.
I have had good luck with seeds here now and had bad luck with attitude seed bank…lately I have been ordering direct from irie genetics and I have injected a few of these genetics in my perpetual personal grow and I have to say looks and smells impressive….rob u may like his strain “the machine” this shit stinks like gas and skunks, yields good and pretty easy to grow…haven’t smoked it yet but if it tastes anything like it smells and looks like I’ll be happy!!!
I have nothing to compare with , but rocketseeds so far has been decent i think. Its a combo of 3 seed banks. So far no real complaints. Germ rate has been good at very minimum, and I have gotten all the orders I have placed. I want to try some high end places like Mephisto but they are always out of what I want.
Im glad you guys pointed out ILGM is not legit. I bought seeds from them and was about to buy more, but now I'm going to look for a legit breeder😎 The weed game is full of scammers and liars. Even to the point where dispos lie about strains and the amount of mg in their edibles. I've bought "600mg" edibles that didn't effect me at all, but once I made my own that were only around 100mg I was way too fried! I've even had dispos skimp me on amounts. My brother started bringing a scale in with him to weigh it right after purchase and you guys would be surprised on how many times they've tried to pass 3gs off as an 8th. And when they're caught its always nothing but fake apologies and excuses. Its sad
I got a great cut of strawberry cough for doing work on a grow pen. I would rather look through my i.d.k. to find something then pay 100$. I pay extra for heirloom varieties of apple trees and vegetables. Cannabis is like grapes. Certain strains will grow and give certain taste that can't be reproduced other places. Like Ocean grown taste. I note where the strains I use came from. Like dutch passion euforia and shaman. I give people the recipe for what I breed.
Personally never had any issues with attitude Seedbank or planters of the trees supply co for beans as long as you buy a hat or piece of clothing for them to put it in
glad you brought up ilgm because I just trimmed White Widow from them recently and the smell is nothing like the description on their site. But the genetic is strong and produce excellent buds, just don’t feel like I got what I thought I was getting.

Seeds here now has the best breeders and is easy to order and the seeds come fast but the best seeds if u want to breed is regular seeds and pop the whole pack maybe 2 and find the best 2 males and make some beans. Especially if u buy a F1s u can work the line to your liking especially the kush cleaner experience kush cleaner pollinate all good female
We got a company here in Boston doing clones sends a weekly menu and sometimes the grow store that's affiliated with a MA breeder has a clone give away with purchase and without sometimes and I bought 3 clones from reddit 😔😔 I know I know but 20 a piece just isolated them in my clone tent now they are week 6 flower no problems got cuts from them now

Seedfinder is a great resource for searching plant genetics, it will point you to plant breeders, the parent genetics involved, etc.

Seeds here now has the best breeders and is easy to order and the seeds come fast but the best seeds if u want to breed is regular seeds and pop the whole pack maybe 2 and find the best 2 males and make some beans. Especially if u buy a F1s u can work the line to your liking especially the kush cleaner experience kush cleaner pollinate all good female

We got a company here in Boston doing clones sends a weekly menu and sometimes the grow store that's affiliated with a MA breeder has a clone give away with purchase and without sometimes and I bought 3 clones from reddit 😔😔 I know I know but 20 a piece just isolated them in my clone tent now they are week 6 flower no problems got cuts from them now
But anyway moving on bit like the strains lol 😆
The seed game is all about reputation boys, I will pay 10 dollars a seed from a breeder I look up to.
