  • In this video I give a brief description on how to whitewash your stone fireplace. I am using Behr paint and a 50:50 paint to water ratio. I hope this is helpful to you! Let me know what you think in the comments.

    Did you do any cleaning / prep work to get rid of soot/debris before starting?
    If not, did it come back to bite you?

      Just now seeing this comment, I'm so sorry! Yes, I used a small broom to swipe off dust and dirt between the rocks. I wiped down with a cloth and dusted the inside of the shelves.
