Fatimid's mamluks are wonderful, royal mamluks are a+ tier, their axemen are among best infantry in the game, heavy archers are strong, heavy spearman are strong, their military is at least a 4/5 until guns.
It is good especially because their economy can help them grow fast but i feel that Turks have better roster and that western countries from list can counter them easier than they can counter them :D But definitely they are really strong
It's great that I found your channel, very cool content with us on Polish youtube lacks materials about Stainless Steel. I would like to know your honest opinion about the faction of the Kingdom of Poland :D
Sorry for later respond. Honest opinion about Polish faction is that they have the greatest potential out of all Slavic and eastern europe factions for easier conquest and fast expansion. They are not the same level like some other military powerhouses but have access to great allies and have well rounded army which people easily underestimate and thus they get rekt :D
Can you tell me if there is a different version of Stainless Steel you made a video about,because the one i have downloaded does not have all these units listed as recruitable.Actually i can see a huge difference in what you can recruit and what i can.
There is early and late era and also there is i think called historical recruitment system or realistic recruitment system. That will instantly unlock all of the units from that period and you dont have to wait curtain amount of turns for them to be available :)

@@Kinuhbud i play medium camping and medium battle bruhh. I also picked all hard thingz during setup menü. Tho byzantines fucking over powered. Kicking me and my alies hungary's ass.. May be i should play in easy mod.

Hey, thanks for commenting it's a good idea for videos. I will make some videos on behinners guide for SS for economy and town management and General gameplay. Gowever it will be in about 2 weeks due to stuff in que I have already :)
At the start you should focus on building an income buildings like farms/mines at the start in the Towns. Also remember to ugrade your building in the Castles to have an access to better units.
Ouch, stats of English archers are really poor. I only did 1 campaign of Byzantium in SS and it was infuriating that I didn't really have access to good archers. Turns out Mouratoi (locals you recruit from Anatolia/Balkans) are pretty much the same.
This is Stainless Steel mod. But for classic vanilla game you can do it by changing the factions in txt document in files. You can look it up on youtube just type this question
I just finished a game as them. Took over all of Spain, Africa, Italy, Greece, and France. The Montesa foot knights are some of the best infantry in the game. They beat polearm knights, any Muslim infantry, and even imperial knights and venetian infantry.
Depends how you look at it. It can be tricky late game but it is also a perfect middle man which can chose either to unite east or west painting it in black :D

I just wanted to say that the strongest cav is the byzantine cataphracts and they can beat the french lancers because they have armor piercing

Yes, but Medieval doesnt have a regular MP games you have to make hotseats and trade saved games all the time it is not worth it :D
