It took me far longer to find this off of a stolen reel on fb 😂 but worth it!
This will be my first "big" crochet project, I've only done wash cloths so far

I kind of love this. If it was a regular granny stitch, it would be holey and airy, but the spike stitch pulls everything tighter and makes it much more dense. I would definitely make a blanket using this pattern.

I’m super exited to start this, just need to finish some other stuff off first. I’ll be doing it with a similar weight and type of yarn, just different colours to suit my aesthetic …. gotta change it up and make it yours if needs must, right. What are the dimensions I think my tension is off and it’s not quite a big as hers seems
I’m confused. In the video on row 3 you don’t mention a CH 1 after the DC, Spike Stitch, DC piece; but the written pattern has a CH 1 instruction. Do I chain one or not? I would like clarification or if I just missed it in the video.
