    Tom you got me working on this. I don’t quite have your Mojo, but you have me trying man. I saw Muddy in 1979 at an Eric Clapton concert. From where I was at in the place he was the size of an ant. But that sound man! His music got stuck in my soul. It’s so cool to try to lay my fingers down in the places where he did. Thanks man.

    Tom, please come and play in England - you're the nearest thing to those Delta originals I know. Thanks for your knowledge, your time and your talent 👏👌✊

    Great job, Tom! I have the same guitar (Collings 002h ) but for some reason, mine sounds completely different. Lol.

      Thanks Steve! Great guitar…it was my main travel guitar for years. Compact but punchy.

    Some people only do the one chord intro & verse but the nuances are still not easy.

    My God this is perfect. You are the man Tom. Thank you for this. I also love the Robert Petway version of this song. Do you know that one too?

    That was great, thanks! One question: which string maker sells unwound Gs? I've looked around internet but haven't had any luck.

    • @PlayCountryBlues
      @PlayCountryBlues  2 года назад

      I get extra plain steels for the unwound G string. Not included in string pack.

    Do glass slides put less pressure on the strings while over the frets of the guitar?

    • @PlayCountryBlues
      @PlayCountryBlues  2 года назад +1

      No…unless you are using a heavy socket wrench, pipe, or other heavy object.
      A typical glass slide is about the same weight as a typical metal slide.

      @thelostjoe 2 года назад

      @@PlayCountryBlues Thanks for answering. Also if it's ok to ask, why do you prefer using a glass slide opposed to a steel one?

    • @PlayCountryBlues
      @PlayCountryBlues  2 года назад +1

      @@thelostjoe I don't prefer one over the other.
