    Hey boss. Grest tutorial. But still two questions that my searches arent finding much information on.
    Where and how much lube is required? Also how do you remove the tap for seal replacement?

    • @MultiCasking
      @MultiCasking  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hey Chad! Thanks for tuning in. Interestingly, my Vevor machine doesn't require any additional lubrication, which is a plus. In this video at the 1:30 mark I've demonstrated how to remove the two gaskets. They are the only two that can be taken out. Keeping these gaskets in top shape is pretty straightforward-I make sure to give them a thorough wash after every use. Since tap seal is not removable, I wash that in the sink as it's part of the tank.
      One thing I've learned the hard way is not to leave them in contact with alcohol for more than 7 days at a stretch. They tend to deteriorate if left in alcohol for too long and you wind up waiting three weeks for free replacements from Vevor and, well, then you're just bored for three weeks lol. Trust me, waiting three weeks for free replacements from Vevor can feel like an eternity!
      Remember, this advice is based on my experience with this specific Vevor model, so it might differ for other machines. Hope this helps you keep your slushy machine running smoothly! Cheers!

I also noticed the concentrated flavours become like icy balls rather than smooth texture and the next day it's absolutely yuk and very liquidy

      Funny you should ask that, User. We have a video coming out next week that deals with concentrated brands. You can in fact use a puree of mango in this. The only fruit that I will never use again is banana. That was sooooo hard to clean out of the tank. I've had great lucky with strawberry and of course oranges are an easy one too.

      Hey there, Marie. I would suggest two things. One you might call a refrigeration company in your town. I hear from a lot of folks that have success repair slushy machine motor parts through their local repair shop. Secondly, here is a company that I use in Australia. They are magicians in how fast they get parts to me. Here is the list I found when I put "Slushie" into their search engine. www.highway.net.au/products/index.html?search=true&query=Slushie+§ion=&category= I hope this helps! Do you clean the bars that the auger clicks into, mine extended out when I took my machine apart so I wiped it down. You didn’t seem to touch yours so maybe that’s not normal. I’m new with my machine

    • @MultiCasking
      @MultiCasking  Месяц назад

      I think you are talking about the rod that goes inside the chilling arm. If so, sort of, Maria. Mine does not come out so I don't have to clean it. I do clean the few inches that are exposed and everything the liquid touches. I hear about 30% of the machines have the rods come out of them. It's not supposed to do that but it really doesn't adversely effect it when it's on.

      Hey there, Brandy! Welcome to the slushy family!! I believe this is your slushy machine: s.vevor.com/bfQ9SS If memory serves, your machine has numerical slushy settings of 1 -15 whereas mine has settings ranging from 4.0 to -9.0. So, my normal slushy setting of -7.1 would be equivalent to your 13.
      Really, the key is twofold, the right temp for the right sugar content. Our machines need our recipes to contain 13% sugar to freeze properly, To be certain, you can use what we do, a sugar refractometer: amzn.to/46EPq8M This device is inexpensive and lets you quickly know if your recipe is ready to slush! Please, let me know if you have other questions! Happy Slushing!

    hey! great video! i got the same machine as you. I'm having an issue with when I have it in slushy mode it pushes the drink to the front (even though I filled it past the minimum level) and then since all the drink is in the front, the back of the machine is "dry" and it makes a rubbing noise. have you had this issue and do you have an suggestions?

    • @MultiCasking
      @MultiCasking  10 месяцев назад

      First, welcome to the slushy community! That's freaking awesome that we have the same machine! Secondly, it's funny you should mention that, Pittman. We have that exact same issue. The slushy pushes to the front due to the angle of the auger's blade. Then, in the back, it's a bit of a slushy void and you hear a sort of clicking sound that is in tune with the rotation. We've found that keeping the hooper full by adding topping it off every eight or nine drinks or by keeping the temp of the slush mode down just a bit keeps the beverage more horizonal and keeps the noise from occurring quite as often. Cheers to ya and welcome to the channel!

    When the slush machine is to get to the right slush temperature does it turn off in between to defrost or anything. I have mine set to -9 degrees. It stopped at -6.1. Will it turn back on? Or is something wrong

    • @MultiCasking
      @MultiCasking  6 месяцев назад

      That means it is working perfectly, Inasphere. Mine does the same. I start everything out at a -7.1 and the machine will stop getting colder once the slushy is providing the right amount of resistance to the churning arm. Each batch will be a little bit different. Cheers to ya!

    • @MultiCasking

      Great questions, Donnie. I clean it after each use. It only takes 10 minutes and most of that time is from cleaning the cooling arm. Alcohol mixes last longer as alcohol acts as a preservative but for non-alcoholic slushies, I will only keep them for two weeks. Normally, the batch is consumed before then though.

    • @MultiCasking
      @MultiCasking  Месяц назад

      First of all, Michelle, welcome to the Slushy Family! Let's get that machine slushin'. The top three reasons slushy machines like our Vevor X-300 don't freeze properly are:
      *Temperature settings:* Make sure the temperature is low enough. I recommend starting at -7 and lowering it if needed. The max cold setting on this machine is -9.0.
      *Water content*: If the mix is too thick, it may not freeze properly. Try adding a bit more water to your recipe.
      *Air circulation*: If the machine is placed too close to walls or other obstructions, it can overheat. Make sure it has enough space for proper airflow so the motor can do its job.
      Let me know if this helps, and we'll get you slushin' in no time!

    • @MultiCasking
      @MultiCasking  5 месяцев назад

      Great question. I've tried several recipes using wine-based liquor, and they can be a great addition to your beer and wine saloon. Here are a few suggestions that I hope help you out.
      Peach Moscato Slushy:
      2 bottles (750 ml each) of Moscato wine
      2 cups of peaches (juiced or pureed) If you are using a blender, use 2 cups of frozen peaches
      750ml of peach schnapps
      1/2 cup of simple syrup (homemade syrup is equal parts sugar and water, heated until dissolved)
      Sugar content may need adjusting to ensure a 13% mixture is needed.
      For Sangrias:
      1 bottle (½ gal) - Margarita Man Sangria concentrate
      1.75 gal - water
      3.75 L - Red Wine (5 - 750 mL bottles)
      ½ L - Brandy
      combine all ingredients in a 5-gallon mixing container, stir or shake vigorously, and carefully pour into a margarita or slush machine. Makes 54 8-ounce drinks with alcohol mixed into it.
      For Froses:
      1 bottle (½ gal) - Margarita Man Frosé concentrate
      2 gal - water
      3 L - Rosé wine (4 - 750 mL bottles)
      750 mL - Vodka
      combine all ingredients in a 5-gallon mixing container, stir or shake vigorously, and carefully pour into a margarita or slush machine. Makes 56 8-ounce drinks with alcohol mixed in, or 40 non-alcoholic slushies.

    • @MultiCasking
      @MultiCasking  Год назад

      Great question, Thu. I have a video coming out about that next weekend. In the meantime, since it's the water that freezes, check the water level is accurate for the recipe for your machine. 2) Since it can adversely affect the cooling arm's temperature, keep the condensation off the exterior of the tank. Thirdly, make certain your temp is cold enough (I start all my slushes out at -7.1 but you can go to -9). Lastly, make sure nothing is covering either the intake vents or the blow vents. Improper ventilation will cause it to not slush. I hope this helps you!

    • @MultiCasking
      @MultiCasking  7 месяцев назад +1

      No worries, Alan. First of all, welcome to the Slushie family! Just write your own words in your own language and I'll have Goggle translate it for us. As I understand your question, your slushy machine turns your drinks into actual ice? Correct? So, there are three fixes for this that are really easy. One, turn up your temperature. If it is too cold, simply turning the temperature up should solve the freezing problem. Two, if you are making an alcoholic drink, add more alcohol. Alcohol naturally prevents ice from occurring and you simply do not have enough in your mix. Three, adding sugar can help as it lowers the freezing point of water. If these suggestions do not solve the issue, let me know and we'll tackle it another way!

    Can you slush normal coke straight from the bottle

    • @Mike-739
      @Mike-739 21 день назад

      You have to dilute the soda first. Usually you dilute syrup 1:4 but with soda it might be something like 1:2 or 1:3. You just have to experiment a bit BUT you have to dilute the soda regardless

      I’m not talking about the syrup
      The coke that you buy and drink from the store

      You can indeed, Mark. It will slushy up very quickly. Just remember to not use Diet Coke. Diet pop will not slush by itself since there is no sugar in it.

    What happens when your machine starts to fall below the minimum fill line?

    • @MultiCasking
      @MultiCasking  Год назад +1

      Nothing really. That line is most important for the initial freezing process. Once it becomes a frozen slush, we will frequently drink it below the line. We rarely add to it. We normally just finish it and switch it out for a new drink.

    Don't u put lube on gasket

      Great question, DQ. Yes, I do. In the beginning, I didn't, but then the auger started making loud clicking/thudding noises. I finally figured out it was due to the auger catching on the gaskets and causing friction. Here is the food-grade lubricant that I use: amzn.to/3W2ZNzt

    Have you had any problems with it ?

    • @MultiCasking
      @MultiCasking  4 месяца назад +2

      Zero, Corey. No mechanical problems at all. I've had a few user errors which caused a few torn gaskets and some frozen tanks, and a buddy read the handle's "Push" as "Pull" which caused us to find a source for replacement handles. But I've since learned what I did wrong I now know to not repeat it lol. The machine works like a charm. We've had ours for 19 months now.

      That's impressive! We crank it to -7.0 and then back it down.

      I only do that on every other clean or if it will be sitting empty for a few weeks in between uses.

      @@glycoln I believe this is your machine: s.vevor.com/bfQ7on For non-alcoholic slushies, keep the mix at -3°C to -5°C (26°F to 23°F) for the perfect snowball texture. For alcoholic slushies, aim for -8°C to -10°C (18°F to 14°F) to maintain a smooth consistency. Ensure your mix has at least 13% sugar for optimal freezing. Enjoy!

      I found the problem. It needs to be in a well vented area. .now it's working. Thank you!
