I have been looking for these triggers for YEARS. I could never find the appropriate adjective to describe it... My strongest trigger is seeing people picking dust off of clothes, for example, or scratching off something, like lightly scratching dirt off your phone's screen. This is amazing! If anyone know any other videos that have these triggers please tell me!

Lily P - I’m pretty sure he does this to make sure the viewers don’t get uncomfortable or feel awkward which does happen a lot when the person having stuff done to them in ASMR videos just stare at the camera or don’t seem to know what to do with their eyes/where to look.
I also know it is very relaxing to have stuff “done” to you- it’s almost as if you were a child and you were playing doctor with a friend, and you were the patient while your friend was the doctor. You would always want to just sit there and relax as you were being “worked” on.

Fyi on people wondering about the shaving of the jacket. Not only does it provide awesome asmr tingles, but it also gets rid of the fabric pilling that can happen over time with jack fabric
I liked the first one, didn't notice what was wrong with it, but now I get to experience it again, thanks. The best part is at 19:05 when she brings out the giant brush.

I've been looking for new triggers because I've kind of grown immune to some of my old favorites, and this? Right now, this is everything. I watched this video last night and it absolutely worked like a charm. Both with the super tingles and making my eyelids really have. It was everything I needed and I think I'll be watching some others tonight.

Roaming Insomniac - I’m sure he does it so he won’t have to stare at the camera and make the viewers feel awkward or uncomfortable, because that does happen, or he doesn’t want to get bored by just looking around/watching her.
It is relaxing to just sit there and have someone play with whatever you have on, it’s like when you were a child and you played doctor with your friends and you’d use the most random items in your house to do so but it was still just as much fun. And to be a doctor as it was to be the patient at that. Hopefully this makes sense!
