The wandering around to random locations waiting to trigger something was a problem in Root Letter as well. I wasn't in love with that one, not sure if I want to try this one. Thanks for the review!
I'm glad that the second half will probably make this purchase worth it for me. Pre-ordered it because of the description of the game but broke my right wrist before I even had a chance to play it. 6.5 sounds like I'll at least enjoy it.
@@lain11644 Sadly, since I just broke it and still need surgery, I can't really pick up anything with it. When it's in the brace and is still, it's basically pain free. However, any slight movement and it hurts. The only thing in doing is making a fist and stretching my hand as far as I can. My CT scan is this upcoming Wednesday and then it's surgery. Never had I ever wanted a surgery so badly just so my wrist can start to heal properly.
Hmm...on psn sale for $20 right now in 2022. Despite the less than stellar score, I still want to pick this up b/c the art direction at least (what do you call the art style/artwork in a game)?
"without modern western nonsense" a shame that this notion must be written when suggesting/reviewing modern media. 10 years ago you wouldn't even think about it. Ironic that I bought it after you reading your comment, 10 bucks.
I really liked it. The CGs in this game are beautiful. The ending is kinda sad 😢
The Nintendo Switch is the perfect place for visual novels
It really is. I wish more would allow us to use the touch screen. This one does not
Just like the PSP and PS Vita before it.
Actually it's Vita first, then Switch.

root letter was the reason i stopped playing visual novels in general. i hated that game so much but i finished it regardless
@@qtpiemi8707 Agreed. I finished it too with all the endings. All the pointless endings that have nothing to do with the main game.

Hope your wrist gets better!
Well if there's a genre that you can play with one hand it's probably visual novel.
I know all too well - Azario

This game looks interesting definitely adding it to the list.
art looks very interesting. edit: dang, just looked at prices, seems expensive for $50 usd (switch)
Well, this certainly went under my radar.
Played it beat it. It was an awesome game.😁👍💯.
Will probably be down to 20 bucks by summer
Whoah spoilers…thanks for the heads up…
NNNNNOOOOOTTTTT!
Imagine watching a review of a vn game and expecting no spoilers whatsoever
I'm halfway through and I can say I 100% adore the innocence of this game. Fun, interesting story and characters without modern western nonsense.👍🏼
