Lonesome_Blue are kind of a supergroup, they describe themselves as a hybrid as Narumi (gt) and Mizuki (d) are J-Metal veterans and Maiko (v) and Yuuki (b) are from the anime and voice acting world. As you can tell, Yuuki can play! Maiko has a fairly standard voice but has lived in the US, hence the excellent English. I wish she’d put more grit into her performance though, I keep getting hints of it but she just holds back… Anyway, there’s a lot of LOVEBITES backing here. They have an EP and an album out and have been around since mid 2022. Their song “Welcome to Heavenly Secret Base” is a trip - J-Metal disco fever that you can’t get out of your head - and don’t want to!

Not sure if you recognized Narumi the guitarist. She was in Destrose and was in their video for Maze you and Roger reacted to a while ago. I like them; however, I am hoping they go in a little harder direction. This song points that way.

They are super solid and fun to listen to. they have some MVs they released earlier in 2022 to when you get some time. Band-Maid is still amazing of course, but NEMOPHILA is rising hard the past year, latest album, every track sounds 100% different from each other...I think Lonesome_Blue has the same potential as Nemophila even though there's no vocalist I have ever heard like Mayu. I am really intrigued by Lonesome_Blue and want to see where they go from here.
