Thank you Arjen for taking the time to flip through this beautiful book! I kept wondering should I get it but now I am convinced that I want it! I love all these Barbie looks! Currently I have two clear acrylic shelves that fit 12 Barbie’s in my clothes closet to inspire me in my clothes choices! I only collect those Barbie fashion that I would wear and reflect my personal style! What you said about Ken fashion is how I feel about Barbie fashion. Some of it I like others are too much out there for me! However, I do love seeing Barbie exhibits and all of the various designs out there! The most memorable Barbie exhibit was in a toy store where they exhibited all of the Bob Mackie Barbies and when I saw my mouth fell open. Bob Mackie took Barbie outfits to the next level and very soon after other luxury designers followed suit! Ps. Thank you for talking about the new 2024 fashion packs out there! I ordered all of them immediately ! Thank you Arjen for all of your wonderful videos which bring me a lot of joy to watch! I just hope that after a while you don’t get overwhelmed and start feeling like it’s a chore! As long as I know that it’s fun for you, I will keep watching and thank you for sparkling some Barbie glitter our way!👍💕

When Barbie first debuted she was a teenage fashion model, she wasn't the silly play line doll made for ages 3+ like she is today. I didn't get my first Barbie until I was ten! I got the brunette bubble cut in the red swimsuit as shown in your book.

i REALLY appreciate how Margot got into character for the photo shoot. i can see that she is thinking "BARBIE" in every shot. i can't imagine any other actress playing Stereotypical Barbie in the movie.
i'm sure that there are plenty of actresses who could, but Margot really put her foot in it.
i wonder if there will be a sequel.
If so, i hope that they focus more on Barbie Land and less on the real world.
No one wants to see Barbie's visit to the gynecologist. Myself, least of all.

@@Barbination They might have to hire a new director. Can you believe that Greta Gerwig doesn't even have a history with Barbie and knew almost nothing about the doll?? She's a complete outsider. That explains why (i feel) the movie was flat, hallow and heavy-handed with politics.
i know that a lot of people enjoyed the movie, but i think that's because it was about Barbie and it LOOKED really good.
Barbie Land, at least, looked really good.

The Magic Earring style is one I have more vivid memory about the blond is so neon and pretty. I began to get the Paint and Dazzle release and I bought the brunette, blond and red hair girls but the Christy has the same outfit as the Midge that looks similar to the Rebok dolls so I might buy those next. I'm also happy to find the Starlight Adventure Kareena she wasnt available on most retail websites anymore.

Hi Arien. Sorry i haven't been around lately. I was sick. I had a bad cold and a bad cough. I wasn't up to doing anything. I just got plenty of rest. I got another 1980's maxie doll. She has reddish blonde hair. And i got a pair of pink sneakers with my new maxie doll.

Thanx my buddy. I'm doing much better. While i was sick i made a few wrestlers. I needed to keep my mind off being sick. My maxie dolls as wrestlers look great. The maxie doll i got this past week came with pink sneakers. That's helpful. Because i don't have a lot of shoes for my Barbie and Ken dolls. I recently moved and all my Barbie and Ken's plus they're clothes and shoes are in storage. But i will be getting all of my stuff very soon.
