These little 40mm automatic Pro Divers from Invicta use to be the best budget Submariner available, yet that's not the case anymore. Watch Dives, among others, have better offerings for around the same price. I still love these Pro Divers, because they're what got me started in this hobby. I've modded and gifted them. Have a few still in the collection. Fun fact: I didn't know the Submariner existed when I fell in love with the Invicta Pro Diver 8926OB.
I had a Rolex Submariner stolen from me in 1983. I could never afford the money again to buy one. That watch is now selling online on places like eBay and Amazon for between $40,00.00 to 60,000.00 Heartbroken after some 40 years I decided to buy the invicta 8026 OB. And it is a beautiful, well made watch that keeps very accurate time. I have not one complaint. With my watch. I set it at 12 o'clock. Precisely hour hand, minute hand, and second hand straiht up at 12:00 PM and then I hack it so that it stops exactly at 12 o'clock noon. And then I call the United States naval observatoryMaster Time clock located in Washington DC and is run by a Cesium nuclear timepiece. and as soon as It says the time is 12:00 hours at the beep. When it beeps, I push in The Crown. And screw it down. And I checked the time about 6 months later and it is only like 2 seconds off. That's amazing you cannot beat that for a watch under one hundred dollars
Just a helpful tip.. you want a dive watch that will have the guards that stick out protecting the dial that set's your time and date. There made like this so the dial will not get popped off and flood your watch and also the dial should screw down to seal the watch as well . I myself have a invicta pro diver chronograph #0069. i like the style and use it as my everyday watch but it's not made for scuba diving.. also they make watch bands just for diving that are made to loop thu the pins that would hold your watch band on. this is so if one pin pops out the other will still keep your watch on you unlike your watch band as is that if a pin pops out would have your watch speeding down to the bottom that may be to deep for you to get to at that time and place... And remember if you run in to sharks you don't half to swim fast just faster than your dive buddy... lol
All invicta watches have screw down crown if water resistant and the crown has to screwed down tight or water will get in. Box is not like a rolex box i have Both.
Try the Steeldive 1953. A great watch with a Seiko movement. Also, the ‘Willard’ is a great homage piece. I have both, and are fantastic watches. All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧
The rotor is exactly the same whether it's yellow or steel. It's the same movement. look under a lens the movement is clearly stamped there. Personally I prefer the silver, it's less gaudy and dare I say, less traditionally Invicta. Love my pro diver automatic - it's ridiculous how much watch you get for the money.
Definitely a fake invicta because their 200m is auto the one that he shows that says there's water in it is battery powered and only 100m. I'd raise an eyebrow at that
Any watch with a push pull crown is barely splash proof regardless what it says on the dial. The Invicta automatic Submariner homages all have screw down crowns and backs with great water resistance. Many RUclipsrs have taken these watches scuba diving with no issues.
The 1953 is there best piece in my opinion... These are great if they ditch the hidious engraving on the side and if i recollect theyve ditch the yellow rota in the back on later models...
Me ne thode din pahele invecta kharidi .na to plstick box aaya nahi ..koi special book ..nahi warty card plstik ka. Sirf paper yellow box or kabaj ka warranty card aaya tha to. Around late 2023-2024 they changed the back design from the iconic yellow one to the now plain ones, to cut cost obviously. But that was the single most appealing thing to me about invicta watches and now I have no reason to buy one.

That is an amazing story! I'll check out those other watches and maybe make a review!

Just got one on Amazon for 50 bucks and i couldn't be happier
I am so glad!

It does have a screw down crown that’s why it molded because you did not screw it down

Alright thanks!! I will look into those!!

The yellow looks cooler in my opinion
I've never heard of an Invicta with a push pull crown with 200 meters of water resistance. I don't even think Rolex would boast such a claim.

You should definitely contact Invicta about that one that wasn't waterproof. I'm looking to get one of the new 1953 models
OK sweet thanks! I will!

Nice. Yeah I don't know what happened with mine, It may have just been a fluke.

So why didn't you send it back under warranty ? I've had more expensive watches with issues out of the box - I just returned them .
The warranty card came not filled. Do you know how I can?

Hey Nate👋🏾
I see you are a fellow Cruncher. If Invicta doesn't impress you, I suggest Aragon. Original design, fantastic quality at insane prices.
I will definitely check it out! Thanks a whole lot!
Like the watch you are wearing. That's is a proper homage piece.
Thanks so much!!
great review… nice Casio I have the same one
Thanks!!!
you got the wrong one at first 2nd watch is the one
Sorry
That’s a quartz watch.
No crown to turn to seal from water entering.
??? 🤔 maybe.
For a bit more you can get an Aragon..... Far superior
I'll look into it!
How much is an ARAGON?
I know they are swiss made watches
@@yoyex2009 they arent much more expensive. around $100-$120

I agree. I was super excited for the yellow rotor.
...corta as unhas!
