Bud, I feel for you; nothing worse for a parent to see a child with a serious health issue. I’ve done a couple of fundraisers for St Jude and would be honored to donate to your fundraiser. Best wishes to you, your family, and your daughter.
Thanks for the teaching. I'm never sure where to throw this style of bait. This helps make sense of it. I'm so glad you're getting to fish the St. Jude tournament. That's great to hear.
How do you like fishing Clark's Hill lake? That's my new home lake. This is my 3rd spring living down in SC sense moving from southwest Ohio. I have lake Murray close too which I like better because it's full of largemouth. I like Clark's Hill for big stripers. It's full of spots. I haven't seen any big ones. My best spot from CH is only 3.8 .I would much rather catch largemouth over spots which is why I fish lake Murray & other smaller lakes mostly. & Make hour n half drive to Marion on occasion too.
I like Clarks Hill a lot. I’d say that Murray is better but Clarks hill certainly is a solid fishery. I usually run up the creeks and focus on non-blueback feeding fish.
First time I ever threw a spook, I threw a full-size version with 3 trebles. I thought there was NO way a fish, especially up here in the north, would have anything to do with it. After the first few fish, I wondered if they made a bigger one!
My biggest spot was 7-12, but Im not sure if it even counts because it was on Bullard Bar in California. I actually have two more over 6 though on Smith in Alabama!

Glad to help! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!
Top water is my favorite. Keep Em coming.
Will do!
I would love to see a video on pitching & flipping grass and/or reed lines. Also some heavy jig fishing would be cool too.
My favorite technique!
Gotta love it!I can’t catch a fish to save my life and you get rudely interrupted by them! Thanks for the tip

Got ya. I've been focusing on creek arms for CH also past year. Or if I go to main lake I'm chasing striper
Gonna try "walkin'" on my next adventure! Jaywalker or zara?
A good ol Zara Spook is still my favorite.

Bass are willing to eat pretty big meals! I guess I relate to them in that way!
Great video
Thank you!
Great videos! Great channel! Subbed. Praying for your daughter and your family! God Bless!
Thank you sir! Glad to have you as a sub!
Mono does sink just very slowly
What's biggest spot you have caught? I know the Alabama spots can get big.

Those are monster spots!!!
What kind of sunglasses are those?!
They are a brand called Torch. The frames are called DNA. Very good sunglasses with great polarization.
@@SonarFishing thanks 👍🏼 grabbing a pair of the DNA shallow lenses. Btw nice catches!!
You have some rude fish over there... You should try to catch all of them to teach them a lesson!! LOL
Rude indeed! Ill teach them some manners!
