Pavlov with fighting spirit is perfect to defend coastal cities, he will destroy the enemy navy/troops and often keeps his life at 100% or very near it. I like to use him to beat challenge 1943 and 1939 with nordic countries (as I am f2p, so I don't have excellence medal nor the special generals you can purchase). He is good as well at tbe frontier mode, since you can put him in a city next to a fort and demolish it while reciberijg your other troops hp.
Rumor is if not the best one of the best skills in the game,it is game changing,plain fighting is actually very good for artillery and tank generals because tanks and artillery have reduced damage in all terrains exept plain so it will help,tide of iron is actually pretty good but rumor is better
Wouldn't it be better to but inferior victory on Guderian than inspiration? Since Guderian ks a better general to use in elite forces as he has already a bonus on them since you finish his biography (and it would give him the attack bonus 100% of the tine, not just when he is with his morale high).

Guderian is not support tank general to put rumor on him. He need maximum damage , tide of iron or plain fighting is better.

Guderian already has Inspiration AND Inferior Victory.

You have to reach a specific HQ-Level and then you can spend medals to upgrade the rank.
