Nice job! This is how I’ll be doing it in the next storm in southern Florida. (You forgot to tell us to put the emergency brake on before shifting into neutral.)

Glad we could help. The e-brake completely slipped my mind because it was already on since the car was parked :(

Thank you. This is exactly the kind of video I've been looking for.

Great Video! Make a iced moca for me too. You have volts to spare.

Great stuff!! I’ve been wanting to do this with my car, but I think I need to get the inverter you’re using to handle our 120 V air conditioner. I tried it during a recent hurricane, and it wouldn’t quite kick the compressor on.
Question, did you do a video where you wired up that generator port?
I assumed if I tied a generator plug into a 20 amp circuit breaker, it would only power every other breaker since it’s only 1 pole. And I couldn’t find a two pole inverter that would work with the Bolted in a different direction direction direction
This would be a game changer.
Let me know if you get a moment… And thanks again for your contact and help!
Watching again, it looks as though the adapter you used enabled to this. Could you provide me a link?

Yeah, our mini splits don't have a start-up surge, however a regular window unit certainly will, and will need a bigger inverter. I'd be very surprised if the one I'm using here couldn't run one, though.
No video on the generator inlet, but it's wired to a two-pole 30 amp breaker in our panel. The adapter cord I'm using (link in description) splits the 120v from the inverter so it powers both legs, though there's no voltage difference between them so anything that requires 240 volts won't work. But fine for our purposes.

I must find that pedestrian noise switch video!
They should sell/give custom noises. Obviously there'd have to be a vetting/whitelist process. But wouldn't it be cool to have one that sounds like a tie fighter, or the TARDIS?
    Aw kitty!
I got a bidet years and years ago. Was laughing through the great TP shortage of the Trump presidency :D
Originally a Tushy brand, was a kickstarter of it. Now a slightly better one. No hot water or blow dryer, but they're not necessary for me.
When my Bolt finally dies, or gets replaced, I wanna drop the battery out of it and use it for home power storage. That'll either need a neat kit from somewhere, or for me to get an electrical engineering degree though.

The bidet was the whole reason we installed the inlet, could run an extension cord to everything else but running one to the bathroom would be annoying and the wife NEEDS HER BIDET!!!
