On to episode #2 0:00 - SMUD Bypass (It's not any particular obstacle, the road used to go down to the lake level) 2:50 - Big Sluice (There is a video on our channel of when that rock was placed there by volunteers from Placer County Crawlers) 8:50 - Sawtooth (That rock burrito with cyclone fence is called a Gabion.) 14:35 - Green Bridge 16:03 - No name, but a lot of rig flops here taking a bad line 24:15 - Rubicon Springs (The rope swing is across on the other side...great for hangover recovery) 29:25 - Cadillac Hill (start) 33:45 - Morris Rock 35:10 - Observation Point (You can see the path of the trail from Spider Lake on) 38:00 - Rubicon Exit 39:01 - Tahoe Staging Area Good trip documentary.
Ty for mentioning our channel. It was a blast. . Great video. I have those night recordings in old sluice. With a story . Lol😊. And all our mottobuilt products are being delivered Monday. We had a blast
Hell yeah! I can see myself fishing all the way in the back lol. Totally forgot about the drone, I could have had you spot the fish for me or at least catch video of the beautiful brook trout that I was catching. .. damn, next time
Detailed coverage of the Rubicon Trail showing how the Jeep Gladiator (several) performed compared with other Jeeps and non-Jeeps. Anyone considering a Gladiator, Wrangler, Bronco or Grand Cherokee and wondering how they perform will find these two videos of great use. Also, various tires and sizes are present so performance can readily be compared, my favorite being the Nitto Trail Grapplers 40" on the Jeep Gladiator with the red-colored front differential and lightbar just above the hood. Great video and effective leadership and spotting.
Really appreciate the detailed explanations and footage along the trail in both parts of this series. Headed up to try this next week and feeling like I’ve already done it in my mind because of the Trail Militia!

Jeep WJ tearing it up!
Just finished the Rubicon as well. Such a great trail. Can't wait till next year to get more spicy when I move up to 38s from 35s.😊
Awesome and hell yeah man bigger tires will definitely move you up a notch
Rubicon was fire . Learned a lot on this trip. Will run the bronco when it gets At least rear lockers.
I’ll be there with ya brotha
Spicyyyyy
i went with a 2016 4runner on 35's without sliders... i regret it believe me!
Yikes 😳
@@TrailMilitia got a sas 3rd gen 4runner build going on. First thing i purchased was all pro Sliders .
Yo WJ doing proper work.
DANG ELI! Where did all the damage come from!
Mine came from old sluce. My stock rubicon sliders failed miserably.
Can a non Rubicon wrangler/gladiator be able to rock climb while being stock ? I bought a sport S 4x4 with 35s on them
@@Enriqued305 Yes it still can you’ll have to have more fitness picking proper lines since you don’t have a locker but still very capable
G morning brother
G Morning 🤟🏽
