'Roxane Gay &' is a series of essays curated by Roxane Gay in celebration of original voices and the experience of being human. The series inspires us to look within and reflect, and hold space for the truths of others - because each of us has a story that only we can tell.
To kick off the series we held a warm community gathering at The Greene Space NYC with Roxane Gay, series author Julia Turshen, and our guest Michelle Buteau. In the spirit of the series, Holding Space was an opportunity for inspired and open conversation, listening, learning, and storytelling.
