- TX2K12 DVD Released! www.1320video.c... - One of the biggest match-ups of the TX2K12 SUPERBOWL OF STREET RACING in Houston occurred between a 1250+hp Supra (Sea Fish) driven by Tag an a couple of 1500+hp twin turbo Lamborghini Gallardo's after he beat SW's 1250hp TT Superleggera the night previously and put SW KILR plates on the car. So Underground Racing brought out the big guns to show everyone what they're all about!

Until you go down to texas and experience the 1000hp club running the streets for yourself you have no room to judge on youtube. If you get the chance to visit texas definitely go out and see these guys. WORTH IT.

Get a private mailbox, and live in a van down by the river, and in maybe 30 years you can get 1 twin turbo lambo. Private mailbox = same kind of mailbox like the one at your mom and dads house but at like a ups store, you can get tax returns and drivers licenses, government documents, its a real address $120 to open one $100 every 3 months to keep one open.

Those UGR TT Lambos are just sick, makes a stretched NOS S1000RR drag bike look slow, not a easy job, however why bash the Supra, its a 20+ year old design but just shows you how much potential they have to be able to hang with these beats of 2014.

+TheChamp 101 Sow from a roll on. That bike is geared for 1/4 mile which he easily ran 8s. Not a slow bike by no means, just not a highway pull type of bike. ( Not saying he can beat the lambos or anything, but the bike shouldnt be called slow. )
Well if it does 8 seconds in the quarter mile it most likely has -3 (or more) teeth dropped in the rear sprocket therefore it is not even that good for roll racing.
You know you got a fast ride when someone in a 1400HP Supra proclaims any of the following after seeing you gun it.

After years of Lambo's having a rep for looking good and going slow it's nice that Underground stepped up with their TT systems to show what the Italian V10 can do with a little bit of boost added. Hoping to make this years Tx2k13 event, should be just as crazy as past ones...
The owner of the white lambo also had two of the world's fastest street supras before this car. I think he proved his worth when he went coast to coast and even bikes didn't want to play with him.

no, it was actually 150-200whp down. the car was making "1400whp on the dyno spinning, it could have been +/- 50" according to Sebastian. the Supra was a traditional 6speed with all the power at the rear wheels so it was at the edge of traction. they should be putting in traction control along with boost by gear and a new setup to come back next year.

GTVenomis I've always wanted to go but now just because I have the opportunity to meet these dudes I'm going! And yeah it is every first saturday. Friends always want me to come along but I'm busy!
Police do want to fill their quota but, one of my friends was talking to a HPD officer (Houston Police Department) and he asked "How strict are yall on street racing down here?" the officer responded "We dont give a fuck."
They talked and the officer later proceeded to say "...we just don't care (some), but they're are some who will just want to fill their quota..."
So they are not as much hiding, just not getting busted. I mean if the police wanted in on this they would have already been on the spot an had units all over the freeway. HPD is hardly ever going out that way to Sealy anyway and they wouldnt have anything to keep up in anyway (all they have is the new Taurus, Charger R/T, and the Camaro SS and at most just with an ECU tune).

One of the orange TTG’s wrecks at the Texas Mile at over 200mph and flips over and over. He walked away from it with only bruises, but he also had a roll cage installed. I bet he had to change his shorts though.

The fastest I've had the balls to go on my bikes were ~165 and these dudes were slapping that, those lambos sounded evil.
1500 hp lambo wont pull that much from a 1400 hp supra more like 800 to 700 lying doesn't make your car faster its still a kick ass supra but not a 1400 hp one.
I thought that but then look at the way it can stand toe to toe with a stretched NOS S1000RR at the end... Over 1200hp definitely.

It's simple mechanics the lambo being awd can put the power down faster and more efficiently. The big hp supra has to wait until it gets higher in its powerband due to turbo lag then it can start doing super cars dirty.
Awd with motec (super advanced T/C), boost by gear, boost by speed, weight, aerodynamics, and the DCT is why the lambo will always be faster and the superior platform at the end of the day…
the Supra did made 1350-1400whp, but both Lambos were making 1650+.
Bob Helm's SL R Package pulled 60-130mph in 3.04 seconds. So I wouldn't doubt that running to 225 from a higher roll in around 7-8 seconds isn't impossible. The TTGs are also setup to run boost by gear, that should clear up a bit of confusion also.

I love STS turbos they are sweet. Have you heard of APS turbos?. I think its so cool that your running it on E85. Also also do you think the engine can handle a small shot of Nitrous after all the mods?. I though about putting a small sniper shot on my LT1. Please post videos of your sweet ride thank you.
Bout time, after watching Supras dominate the highways for 10+ years we finally get a few newer, highly modified, $150k-$250k Supercars that can pull on a 20 yr. old Supra. Went the cheap route Zo6 with SC, 598rwhp under $99k, lightweight, fast. Only two cars I could not take out so far was a Supra and a GTR, could not imagine a 1500hp TTlambo. Both impressive, hard to believe 20 yr. old Supra’s still managing to compete with the very best out there.

if you buy the vid it shows the run to 225, they dont show it here, all they show is short bursts from 60-100 as a teaser, the vid was made so you can buy the dvd
many other things come into play also. The lambos are lighter at 2954lbs compared to the supra's 3417lbs. only better thing the supra has going for it is it's drag coefficient which is at .32 compared to the lamborghini's .36 but thats not enough to make a huge difference.
wow that's impressive. i don't know much about the scene but i do recall friends of mine getting nabbed by cops and ticketed for minor upgrades like air intakes and exhaust systems that were not street legal. I'm curious as to how a car with a couple hundred hp can go 1000+ and still be street legal. How do those rules work? And is it legal to drive on race fuel?

Racing from a stop can have a lot of consequences with high horsepower cars. That's when you start breaking things like axles, transmissions, etc. Plus a lot of wheelspin involved especially for a supra

the same way, if you ask a TTG owner to run from a dig at the strip, most would hardly care to reply. they don't look for drag races because most of them can't launch with something breaking, others cannot launch because they're not setup for it. similarly, Larson's car will decimate just about ANY street car, street legal car, or street driven car on the strip. all of these cars have their purposes, TTG-roll racing. big cube TT muscle car- drag racing.
you don't know how big of a mistake you've made. Tag is one of the best drivers you could ever put in a car, especially a 6speed Supra.

Nelson's TT big blocks make 1500-1600 on pump gas, that's a cool selling point. UGR is running Proline engines, those guys hold all sorts of records pushing upwards of 4000hp.
You seem to be stuck thinking that 1500hp is the highest HP they've pushed. UGR put down near 2000whp, which is upwards of 2300hp years ago lol.
A car set up for the strip like Larson and those 6 second "street cars" would get killed on the highway by one of these Lambos that are set up to stretch their legs.

American production engines often weigh less than European production engines though. GM's Ls7 barely weighed what, 420 lbs wet? Ford's DOHC 5.0 weighs 430 lbs wet in the Mustangs, and 450 lbs in the trucks mostly due to steel shorty headers. If you check out alot of the supercar from Europe and Japan, the engines are weighing in the upper 400's to low 500's, and the GT-R, for example, has an engine that weghes over 600lbs full assembled with the turbochargers (which are required obviously)

Its an STS with 68s in the back. forged stock cubed 6L L-92 heads cam by East Tx Muscle cars Holly sheet metal intake manifold, upgraded Godzilla twin BOVs LS7 manifolds and H pipe welded into an X pipe. boost by speed boost control analog. wide band I mean its a well put together package doing the work at home except have to have the engine balanced this weekend and I start putting that thing together here soon. Going to run as solid 10.4:1 on e85. Have to do a 500 mile break on engine and Ts.

I dont know what it is about that car. I just don't like it that much. Im a fan of the insane track cars that can be driven on the road. I love cornering. The Corvette ZR1 is one of my all time favorite cars. The fact that its faster than the LP 670 SV or the 458 Italia just makes me smile. And theres Ariel, Ultima, Caparo, Noble, Acari, wich are insane around corners. I just love it.
In all likeness and without degrading the UGR TT lambos, i would say that they have not been put against some highly tuned bikes.I can remeber two bikes : first one is the m3boarddotcom turbo busa ~300bhp and jon vons ~300hpp nitrous busa and both of them could only stay with TT for some time (I think with time even the m3board busa would have been taken by TT)..these cars are such fierce beasts that only bike 400bhp and above stand a chance.I would love to see this busa go against TT !!
