This is our situation right now, we are looking to move from Vancouver island to Lethbridge within the next 6 months. This is a really good episode.
Same here!. We are in Parksville. It's getting ridiculous on the island and becoming very difficult for our. family.
I am from Missoula Montana originally live in Lethbridge now. House prices are skyrocketed in the Missoula area recently. 2 years ago I spoke with a friend who sold her house bought another but had to wait 6 months for tenants to move out of new house. Then right before she moved in to new place she got a call from real estate agent offering to buy her new house for $200,000 MORE than what she paid for it just 6 months earlier. House was originally $600,000 or so they offered over $800,000. $200,000 USD is good increase in 6 months.
It’s interesting to see a perspective from bc, their situation seems similar to Ontario which is why we are moving as well
Yeah exactly!
Learnt so much from this video! Keep up the good work 🥂😎
Thank you! Will do! Thanks for tuning in.
Very informative, we are looking too.
Awesome! If you have any questions let me know

Hey! Interesting video! I am from Europe and I am going to study in Lethbridge next year, and I was wondering about the crime rate. When I read about it, the statistics seem pretty extreme, but is this really true? Is it really that unsafe? Thank you for your videos, they have been really helpful:)
Keep listening, it’s gets addressed in this podcast. The short answer is yes, it’s perfect safe and the crime is not bad at all.
Hi Kurtis. Please let us know about the health system performance. Here in BC is very deficient. Hospitals have 5 to 7 hours wait time to be seen. Many months wait time to have a simple surgery… can’t find a family doctor, walk-in clinics are disappearing etc.. I’m retired. I need a good health system.
Thank you kindly.😃
You're unlikely to find a family doctor here in Lethbridge currently
I believe we and 4 more doctors moving here this year so keep your eyes open.

@@kurtishawkinsyeah they didn't mention which clinic they were going to but give it time as you said
That being said, there are still lots of walk ins. And the hospitals in the smaller town usually have no wait times
I'm moving to Canada around September from middle east good to hear about this town thanks a lot
