Grandpa Mountain Walkabout - Day 2

I'm sure some people wonder why I post these walkabout videos. Most contain little or no unique information that experienced backcountry campers would find useful. And often they tend to be pretty boring. The answer is, I make them for my grandchildren. It won't be too many more years before I'm too old to go backpacking, and so my youngest grandkids will never get to go backcountry camping with their grandpa. These videos make it possible for us to go virtual backpacking together, even after I'm dead and gone.

29 grandkids! You are a wealthy man. Another amazing segment of this trip with surreal beauty. Perhaps you are right and your lack of innovation (your words, not mine) is dull to some but content is only half the battle, it is the host that makes videos great and you have a great host!
