Love everything you do Jeff. I'm sure you hear this all the time but I hope you know that you inspire engineers like myself every time I see one of your videos to challenge myself to learn something new and try new things when I can. You keep things fresh! Thank you so much.
He's truly an authentic introvert. The interview with his wife is hilarious; it's like he's an hostage to his wife. A true developer, but with great youtube-creative talent. Kudos, Jeff
Wow jeff is full of surprises. I didnt know about his guitar skills, family , hobbies or even his personality. After this video i would say that my respect and love level him has increased by 200%! Thanks for this documentary ❤
his down to earth and humble demeanor just made me love his content even more, never cash out on your channel Jeff, it wouldn't be the same without you.
He is one of the main people I owe my career (and basically joy of life) to learning things about computers and programming was the only thing keeping me happy through everything. 14 yearold me coming across his video was one of the things that made what I am today, its been nearly 5 years now, I'm still learning a lot, couldn't have done it without his videos the impact he had on my life is just insane, I love this man
As an introvert, this guy and this video are super inspiring to me, I have toyed with the idea of starting a YT channel just for an "experiment" too but always thought I'd be too boring. Really great video and insight, seems like such a nice guy and got his head screwed on in all the right ways, doing life right for sure.
There are a lot of humans. No matter what your idea is, there will always be some people who find it amusing and interesting. And there will also be people who find your idea boring and worthless. If you like making videos, don't think you might bore someone. Just keep pushing your videos, learn from your mistakes, and someday you will find yourselves some loyal followers who can help you PUT FOOD ON YOUR FAMILY.
I've been following and supporting Jeff since his first steps in 2017. I have seen him grow and evolve through the years, developing his own style and brand. Now he's an unavoidable reference for anyone wanting to keep up with the programming trends. I'm really glad you did this video! As he says himself, he always tries to avoid the spotlights, but he deserves them!!
It’s hard to believe that the same man who makes awesome short form videos with a lot parody is introverted, humble and a family man. Love your videos man, keep it up. Without your code report videos I probably wouldn’t know what’s happening out there. Super crisp and on point videos. Thank you so much!
Two things: 1) This guy inspired me to be a better software developer. I've learned a lot from him. 2) Now he just inspired me to be a better human being. He's a hard worker and a family man. Thank you for your service my friend
Dear Jeff, the glimpse into your reality feels like a love letter to the introverts who wish to make an impact on peoples’ lives while fighting their own battles. Loved how you embrace technology, music and humor as a positive human being. 🌟
I love his voice, has a really unique touch. I somehow thought that it wasn't a real voice, but seeing a face and seeing how such a nice down to earth person he seems to be, it really makes it authentic. I love to see how much he values his family and that he can do what he loves. I'm a freelance programmer myself and I know this is a great feeling, but can also be hard sometimes to push yourself through. Wish you all the best!
This video is profoundly... how to say it?..."balsamic?" and inspirational for me, not only because of who Jeff is on RUclips and on other professional stuffs, but above all, because of the way he shares his personal journey through the good and bad moments, how he talks about what motivates him in programming (motivation that many of us share), and, most importantly, the way he speaks about those priorities that, in the end, one understands are essentially the key to life. Thank you for this excellent piece of work, guys, and... thank you so muchJeff for being there.
Jeff could be called the Grant Sanderson of software development. Great insight into how tools evolve, great communication and summarization skills and a wry sense of humor that is essential for deflating the hype inherent in this field.
You know he's nicer than he sounds. Even I know history of js which is just a programing language, Its always better to listen from him. Im really re-watching his videos because he puts something in it which makes it not boring. Keep up the good work man.
Fire ship has been the best fast summarization channel for me to learn something new to familiarize myself with something new and then go deeper in it. It really helped me build up into my current career and I’m still revisiting old videos or newer ones too to refresh my memory if I need to check something.
Jeff it's great to see you. I want to say that you are one of The Best Dad in this world and super sweet husband indeed. You are truly an inspiration for all of us. More Love To You!!!
This was so rewarding to watch! I love Fireship, and have been a loyal sub for years! Congrats on all the success and the beautiful family, Jeff. And thanks Honeypot for making this
Removing the extra content and cutting the white space is such a great concept for teaching in general. The moment you take a pause or waste people’s time is the moment people lose focus. Your videos are incredible please keep going it’s made my job as a software engineer way more enjoyable
Jeff is gifted with unique talent of explaining programming concepts in a quick accessible way. It's amazing how introverts are able to express themselves and shine via all different kind of means.
The collaboration I needed. So great to have Jeff talking about the early stages of Fireship now (I've been a follower since '20) and his point of view matches with mine on so many things. Kind of motivates me to start making programming videos and make good use of my time.
I appreciate you sharing this story! I was in the same boat before I started programming… sometimes I still feel like I’m not smart enough for the task ahead but watching your videos really help me understand what I’m doing! So thank you!
I am a newcomer to the whole coding game and just recently got my first job. The 100 second videos really helped a lot diving into all these topics and also made the journey a lot more fun. Thanks a lot !
Every time I come across a new programming language, framework, technology, one of the first things I do is look for "X in 100 seconds". Fireship channel is invaluable.
See... I told you I wasn't an AI
🤣
Even Mark Zuckerberg, Elon, and Lex claim that too.
Love everything you do Jeff. I'm sure you hear this all the time but I hope you know that you inspire engineers like myself every time I see one of your videos to challenge myself to learn something new and try new things when I can. You keep things fresh! Thank you so much.
I really didn't expect that since the only thing we saw from you was only one photo. 😆
we love u 🙋🏻♂️
Jeff is dope. He's humble, a family man, and a super geek with a wonderful sense of humor!

How to generate a honeypot documentary using GPT-4
I read that in Jeff's voice
He's truly an authentic introvert. The interview with his wife is hilarious; it's like he's an hostage to his wife. A true developer, but with great youtube-creative talent. Kudos, Jeff
hahaha just noticed the hostage part, that's a spot on description 😂
He always speaks like he wants the interview to end. Makes sense why he choose the 100s format. No offense to him.

That voice is now notorious in the tech space. We love it
The fact that this video exists makes me SO happy!
same! i love his videos to see the backstory is what the internet and youtube is all about!
Thank you Honeypot for letting us know Jeff personality, he is such a simple and inspiring person
I love this man, he made me fall in love with programming! God bless him and family!
That spiritual calling of his inner child saying to random strangers "I will have my own fireship when I grow up" is divine and inspiring
Jeff is a legend.

Jeff is a machine. His jokes about being an AI land because he is so productive. He’s the Casey Neistat of Brogramming
