We don't have plant shops here. We get lucky from time to time with the grocery store. Plant shopping is mental health. Truly. So your plant shopping videos support my mental health.
Same here. I have done best buying at the grocery store that is 22 miles away. I love living remotely in the middle of nowhere until it comes to plant shopping. Now I take my cuttings and pot them up and donate to the wee local grocery for people to pay low price to go to the community garden. I have some Cebu Blue cuttings that will be ready to pot next month but still too cold now to ship as they are. Happy to pass the onto you.
Hey! You could go to a pet shop that specializes in reptiles and get one of the MANY types of habitats that would be amazing for plants! Lots of reptile people make amazing ones and add in beneficial bugs.
What a great video Ashley. WOW, Malones really raised the bar for all the other nurseries. LOL. Beautiful plants galore! The Sansevieria that you didn't know the name of is called Parva Lancet. It's such a great snake plant. The plant at stamp mark 7:10 was gorgeous. Thanks for taking us along! P.S. I'm loving all your new earrings!
More amazing plants and you found them, and hats off to you for being a decent person and letting that lady have the plant she really wanted. Would have been interesting to go to the first place earlier to see what everyone else got and maybe you too, although it looks like lots of interesting plants to take home. Another challenge for you to only take a few home...Nice tour.
@@LifewithAshleyAnita That will be an exciting shoot, so you can be like the kid in the candy store (once again) it will be a pleasure for you and for us to watch....
So many beautiful plants, could shop all day and admire the lovely plants and spend a lot of money, thanks Ashley for the video. I always get inspired when you post ❤.
Ashley, I love this video:-) So many beautiful plants and pots! I bought a large terrarium on Amazon. It was large and cost $54.99. One great feature is that one side of the roof opens and stays open if you want it to.
I noticed some amazing paphiopedilum/phalaenopsis orchids at the beginning of the video. The Orchid Room on YT did a great vid on foliage orchids a few months ago. They're so hard to get here. Amazing spots and patterns and the flowers are an amazing bonus.
I am guilty for getting to malones early😅 I really needed to get myself a philodendron silver sword though I ended up leaving with a monstera Peru and a mic as as well😂💚🌱
I killed my jewel orchid 🥺 that was a great price! I loved the pots at the second place you visited. I’m glad I don’t live in Charlotte…I’d be broke! (I secretly do wish…you have amazing plant shops!) I also got a Hoya Sunrise at my favorite little greenhouse 2 or 3 weekends ago, the sun stressing on mine isn’t as prominent as yours is but I’m working on it! Great haul! I can’t wait to see how your Epi sizes up…I don’t think I’ve ever seen that plant either.
This was a fun video! I would love info on cachepots from Plant Bar. You panned over them twice. It was a small white pot with a tiger on it & some greenery, 2 different versions & they maybe were handpainted. I'm in another state so if you have any info on those, I would be thrilled!
Nice haul love both of those shops I have nothing like that where I live liked the sunrise Hoya the jewel orchid the long leaf with diner on it and the plant that looks like a baseball I’ve never seen before you are right they have a good selection of pots thanks for sharing its the next best thing to bring there
Looks like I’m going to have to take a little trip to Charlotte! It’s only an hour away. Thanks so much for sharing all of the wonderful places you shop! 💚
Woooowhooooo you got ya some great deals!! I would have grabbed one of those big hanging Krimson Queens and a trailing String of Hearts! I wish there were nurseries like these in my area!!!!
I love love your star rings 🤟🤟🤟⭐ I always enjoy watching you plant shop you always find some good things and I always learn something every time I watch your video
Plant bar is amazing. So jealous we don’t have that in London. Great selection of pots. I could have easily have picked 5 already. And I’m so fussy with pots. Your so lucky
The plant art was so cute. If I was there I’d buy it in a heartbeat. You guys have so much luck in the US with that fancy pottery, here in Spain it’s so boring haha and the ones I like are like… $50 hehe.
I saw you at Malone’s which is crazy because I got into plants watching you! You seemed like you were on a mission so i let you be but either way it was good to see you! ❤️
I wish you and I were neighbors and could go plant shopping together! Love the plant stores you visit! I'm new to your channel and love it! I'm a plant lover as well!
Hi Ashley. Really enjoy yours plant hauls and have learned so much from your videos. You are very fortunate to have so many quality plant shops in your area. I wanted to ask if you found out the name of that huge hanging succulent at 14:55. I have something similar was told it was a pilled. What do you think? Thanks and have a very positive plant day!
😢😢😢😢😢 I want them ALL!!!!! you’re so lucky to have these great places! Here in Mass we have NOTHING right now! On a happier note tho.......Such a great video Ashley! Thank You!
Awe I don’t think your crazy, I am but I don’t think you are.💚🙃 Mine, Mine,Mine. Lucky you💚🙃 Great haul! It makes me sooooo jealous the plants you have available to you. Keep on growing girl. Thank you for taking us along💚🙃
Those cordyline were so pretty! I don’t know why the more unusual varieties aren’t more popular. I have a cordyline “mocha latte” and it’s gorgeous and easy!
Someone has probably picked up on it, but its a Euphorbia speudoglobosa you got there, unfortunately not a Euphorbia obesa but still cute! On the fun side, they grow quicker and are easier to prop. They occur in the western cape while E. obesa is from the northern cape province of South Africa at higher elevations. A few of the species look very similar as juveniles. Some people also confuse Euphorbia obesa and Euphorbia meloformis.
You were so nice to give that lady the plant. Have you thought of using a 5 gal aquarium with a glass top for your begonias terrarium? Or may not be the esthetic you wanted. Thanks for the nice long tour.
Oh wow! Wish I could go shopping with you! My bank account would be drained though. 😩 For the terrarium, I would say try to thrift it. I got a small glass fixture that held a floral arrangement (80's or 90's decor). I painted it white, sealed it, and put my terrarium plants in it. Works perfect! And only cost me $3.49!!
You make me want to take a short day trip to check out these shops (I just might ☺️). My Hoya Sunrise (found it on Facebook marketplace) is out for delivery today! I’m so excited! 🪴💚
Those syngonium frosted hearts looked supper awesome! Definitely hard to find and go for a pretty penny online. And I’m not sure what you found was a euphorbia obesa...to me it looks more like a euphorbia pseudoglobulosa (which is still really cool and hard to find euphorbia- and 2.50 is a super good deal) but there are so many hybrids of obesa I could be wrong- I thought I bought a euphorbia pseudoglobulosa online and it looks more like a hybrid of pseudoglobulosa x obesa
