Have you ever tried using shadow? Little bit of water or fix plus on the brush works awesome.
You could try eyeshadow! I can also imagine dipping a brush in mascara might work? Don't quote me on that lol

Wait, how have I never thought to not bring my eyeliner all the way across my lid?!?! I have more hooded eyes and am not very good at thin eyeliner so I always end up with it just looking like a sharpie across my eye and you cant even see my eyeshadow!

Honestly thank you for this video ❤️ I just got into makeup last year (20 years old I know, I'm stubborn) and this is probably the most helpful eyeliner video I've found. I could not for the life of me find a proper eyeliner tutorial for what looks I was going for
The brush on DUO one is great! I love the black one, it just dries in seconds, and it's great for lining the eye with glue if you prefer that tech (just make sure to clean the wand above the brush bc it can stick you lash hairs together)

I've missed these videos, I use to follow your @madeyewlooktwice channel to learn how to do makeup when I was starting out. I still have no idea how to do eyeliner, I am also pretty blind in only one of my eyes so, I have no idea what I'm doing for my one eye and that's super hard to do. So actually your smudged out eyeliner for the next day look is the one I go for since I can still have eyeliner and be able to do it well even if I can't see exactly what I'm doing. Honestly, if you have any eye make up tips for someone who can not see well id love to hear from you. My first set of makeup brushes were your OG ones from your website and a lot of my starter make up products are things you have mentioned on your channel like 3-5 years ago (like lash stiletto). I love your occasional everyday make up tutorials! I’ve missed them. I especially appreciate this one because I love the way eyeliner looks but was pretty clueless about how to do it myself.
I only wore smudged eyeliner ones in my life and that was for a cosplay photoshoot but I enjoyed it, it's actually quite pretty
Always with tightlining I cry it off.. its horrible. And when I try to eyeline my teardot, it ALWAYS gets in my eye and I cry black tears for 30 mins. Impressed by your skills T.T
I am suddenly way more confident about my eyeliner skills now that I know that you also use eyeshadow and just smudge it around your eyes like in the last look. That's how I do mine for cosplay because it is really easy to do!

I realise you don't sell it anymore but your eyeliner was such an important part of my makeup journey. It was the first thing I ever bought with my first ever paycheck and I LOVED IT. It was my holy grail product for years and I learned to cat eye. From that moment on I've done a cat eye every single day. I've developed it to be right for my face and fit my modern/vintage edge style and its evolved as my style as evolved but that wing has been a constant. I'm perfectly confident without makeup on but wearing eyeliner turns my face into MY face and none of that would have happened if it wasn't for your eyeliner. Thank you for inspiring that and changing my face forever haha

Love all of this but I was especially grateful for the end when you said nobody should be telling you how to wear your eyeliner. I love the grunge look and have very small eyes. People would always tell me I was “doing my eyeliner wrong” and I hate it! Do it however you like!

I need to try the partial wing one day. My eyes are hooded and small, so I don't have a ton of space to work with. I'm addicted to wings though lol and I always line my entire upper lash line. I should try the partial just to see how I jive with it
Haha the way you described the last one as "your eyeliner doing it's job and staying" was pretty much me one day, as I don't normally wear makeup unless I'm going out (and I'm a little non social butterfly so not a lot) not long after I started working at my current job I went out and my eyeliner did the thing and refused to leave my face, and I work in a pet boarding facility so I wasn't concerned as I don't really have to worry about interacting with customers and the only people that really see me are my coworkers (I'm part of the kennel staff who all work outside and don't put a lot of effort into looks because we are just going to get sweaty and dirty with dogs jumping all over us anyway) who are walking around doing there own thing, the day after I went out I was on the morning shift at work (7am start in the kennels with only 1 or 2 other people there until the office opens at 8) so you know wake up early with no energy to care about my current panda eyes, go to work, get through my schedule pretending like I have no idea what's going on with my face, later on in the day my boss (who mostly stays in the office as admin) comes out to the kennels to do something and as she walks past me she stops to have a little chat (asks how things are going as I was still fairly new, I think she asked if I could work longer the next day as well) as she was about to walk away she says "I like your eyes" and was just like thanks but then she walked away and I had a little giggle to myself because I knew that it was just left over product that refused to budge no matter how much I scrubbed

As someone who doesn’t wear makeup this has inspired me to go try those things I never do because “I’m bad at them”. I think everyone has at least one of those things and you’re right this is like the perfect opportunity to get better.
