I preordered the G/G album, delivering today. Can’t wait to spin this one. I am a new convert to jazz. Really love the Tone Poet Series albums, impeccably pressed and packaged. It looks like the Verve G/G is similar. I have purchased 60 Jazz albums in the past 3 months.

I am waiting for my copy should arrive this Saturday . Been buying mostly Jazz since the trend of high quality reissues that are not overly priced such as Tone Poet and Analog Productions. You are so right this Getz / Gilberto will sell out real fast. Thanks for your videos ,you are on your game especially when talking Jazz. Jazz vinyl sales seem to be really picking up and selling out a lot.Hadn't seen that so much since the early 70s..

It's the "Acoustic Sounds" series. Chad's label "Analogue Productions" is not involved. Yes It's like the Tone Poet series, because both are from Universal Music Enterprises, Blue Note and Verve are both in divisions of the same company. In this case they just hired Chad to consult. (like they did with Joe Harley for the Blue Note series).

Getz Gilberto sounds fantastic, the 33rpm is enough for me to not have to splash out for the 45rpm. I can't wait for Nina Simone records to come out! Will get Love Supreme despite owning the AP 45rpm. I wonder if we'll ever see Alice Coltrane's early albums given the AAA treatment? providing the tapes didn't go up in smoke.

i save the stickers, if possible and it can be peeled off, i'll put it on the SleeveCity outer poly sleeves i put over the jackets
