Thank you Scott and Peter and everyone else who made last night possible. It was a delight to watch and quite emotional. During these hard times we need to feel connected to others so last night was amazing. It was lovely to see the abundance of love that you guys have for everyone (all the cast and crew) and how much it means to you that you have touched so many lives. I was tearing up quite a bit and my poor Husband was sitting next to me on the couch and saying "what the heck are you crying at" so I told him what was going on and he said it was totally awesome :-) I had to dip out before it finished as I live in the UK so it was my bedtime LOL, but thankfully caught up on the rest just now. I write a comment on yt for the first time, but I like you all so much that I would pass out 3 times if I met you, and I would probably cry. You are wonderful. That was such an amazing reunion, thanks for hosting such a meaningful event. I did not actually watch QAF back in 2000, mostly because I was only 4. I watched it roughly a year ago, but it really helped and impacted me, just like it did back in 2000 to everyone. thank you so much to everyone involved. teared up several times, especially in hearing about how the bonds have really stood the test of time, with scott and peter's friendship and with sharon looking back on the show with so much fondness. it's really nice to hear about how those relationships were so authentic, because while watching queer as folk, there is a distinct feeling you get in terms of the bonds. most other shows don't seem to have that believability factor. the core group of friends or the found families don't seem as believable. that feeling of authenticity with the friendships is one of the main reasons why queer as folk remains so rewatchable. besides having delved into queer issues that are stil current, it knew that the relationships it portrayed would always feel current as long as they were written with honesty and boldness and love. just wanted to say thank you again to everyone who was part of the show's legacy for helping so many of us feel more comfortable with ourselves and our idenities. much love to peter, because emmett has taught us so much about self acceptance as well.

Hello Scott, that was such a wonderful event! I watched QAF for the first time just a month ago, so sadly I was not around by the time it was live streamed. I wanted to say, it is so heartwarming to see you and Peter being great buddies after all those years. Ted and Emmett were my absolute faves of the show, always taking care of each other and yet having that chemistry, which was enough to make them lovers at some point. I was rooting for them with all my heart 😄 Awesome job! So, I cannot thank you and the rest of the cast and crew enough for your work on the show. This show opened a lot of peoples eyes, not just the gay communities. It let the young gay communities know they are "normal, so to speak", there's nothing wrong with them. And it helped most gays know they could be proud of who they are 🤗. I love this show 💕😊.
