No doubt, QAF is the best show I have ever seen, and I miss it..Every time I go back to watch the show, I could not help crying and feeling so excited that there is kind of relationship in a tv show touching me so deeply....so profoundly..that I can feel what the real love should be...supposed to be...expected to be....and will be. QAF-UK and QAF-US are having the same story line at the beginning, what makes QAF-US became more successful in worldwide is that it has the fabulous casts. They deserve the praise.
I love how relevant this show is today even after more than a decade later. The only thing that's changed really is the music and the fashion. So much that goes on in the show are things that are still happening right now. It's crazy.

I bought the complete series box set and finished watching all of them yesterday with my best friend (it's addicting!) I must say the series is inspirational. As straight women, the show really opened our minds and touched our heart. And I don't think any other TV shows has brought many tears of sadness and joy as this one had. I LOVE QAF !!
I find it refreshing that all of them are so in touch with knowing that it was time to move on. You pour so much of yourself into a character that you lose a little bit of yourself and ending, while it's still at the top of its game, it is painful and freeing at the same time.

Izzy I agree! I watched the series once when I was 13 and again now (I’m 21 now), and now that I’m older and wiser, I actually think the ending was perfect. It would have been sappy and unrealistic if they ended up together in a perfect bow. I thought their ending was poignant and showed how selfless their love was for the other!
But why can't they say that they're going to meet in future, they have wait for 4 year to confess their feeling and when it's come to true they just............ I know I'm being selfish but I cry lot... I understand what you'll saying but I want my happy ending * crying in my bed*
I agree, there should be a movie about QAF, but I truly believe that at the end of the series, Brian knows what he wants and it is Justin and just because they didn't show it on screen, I know that he went to NY to be with Justin and that's how it ended in my eyes. Love this series, watched every episode over and over again!!!
I wish it would have gone on a couple more years. I am one of those who wish Brian and Justin would have gotten married even if they didn't live together all the time. I think the love they portrayed on the show deserved that, deserved better than the way they wrote it at the end and I think that ending sent a fairly negative and bitter message about relationship. I understand that they didn't actually break up, but the way it came across onscreen was very sad. like their love and being together wasn't the most important thing to them. I think love and being together is much more important than a career or money or whatever...
This is one of the most amazing shows I've ever watched. It deals with many serious issues and keeps it real and unapologetic. When I watch it I feel a sense of freedom. And the music rocks and the characters played was awesome and I like the drama and the comedy. I miss this show but the end it pretty well. It really opened 'doors'.
everytime actors say "it's time to move on" they go on to never do anything else ever and it's so upsetting like, NO! don't move on! Just keep on doing this!!!!!

with 100% honesty, i remember the 1st episode and day this came out...and i was 8 years old watching this show not understanding anything, and i followed it all the way through til season 5 and it was hard to watch it go..and i couldn't believe how they ended it..i cried.
Isn't it strange that Gale and Randy doesn't have anything to say.Those roles must've been truly a traumatizing experience for them. Seems their later careers suffered as well. It's too sad to see what price you still have to pay for your bravery.

I loved the ending! I thought it was perfect. Like Brian said "It's only time", and Justin said " We don't need rings or vows to know that we love each other". Actually I think if the wedding happened I'd be squirming in my seat because I can just picture it in my head, a great big cheese ball fest.

Well, where should I begin?,... I found this show in a dark time in my life, giving up hope on love and making my dreams come true!! And it just saved me!! And when I found out it was over and only had five seasons once I started to watch it, and I heard they won't ever countinue, it really hurt! But it inspired me for not only my life, but my carrier and to one day, to make a show like this ;-)!!!!
This show made me proud of being gay in a different way...not the same way that all the "it gets better" campaigns and "you are unique" speeches do. I had heard it all before and I was immune to the words. This show made being gay (in my eyes) cool and made me feel like I had freedom and independence from being gay. I don't have to follow the beaten track. It also made me fail all my exams as I started watching in exam season and couldn't stop. I recommend this to all gay teens. Very empowering.
I think they did that to let you know that their lives still go on. That no matter what happens, they can get through it. And yes, I bawled for the entire finale

This show had such a profound effect on me. I didn't even watch it when it was on Showtime, but I watched every episode online and I actually just watched the last episode yesterday. I'm so sad that it's not on anymore, I'm actually tearing up a little watching this, lol. I feel like such an emotional twat but no show or movie has ever resonated with me like this one. I felt like I related to every relationship on it.
i hate saying goodbye to this show but it its historic its made an impact & i'm so glad someone had the balls to pull it off and make a show like this i mean it made history & wasn't afraid to address issue that so many other shows wouldn't have touched i love the show the actors and characters & writers producers & every1 who made the show happen it is one of the best hows to date nothing will every measure up to the absolute brilliance thats is QAF
