I think Michael Caine’s character in Inception was more like a casting agent or Cobb’s manager. Also, I saw a theory that Tenet is Inception’s sequel and I just can’t get this out of my head now.
I mean, those movies look stylistically THE SAME. Tenet could totally take place in the same universe as Incpetion.

I wish JDW saw this theory: The character that JDW fights in the bullet hole sequence is him from the future. The mysterious figure who saves him in the prologue with the reverse bullet is him from the future. If the film is a palindrome then it will begin and end at the opera house.

I have a feeling that he is the villain in the movie.
And no. The movie will not end in opera house. There is a huge climax scene shot in desert that is being kept secret by nolan.
In that fight sequence, you can see the wrists of the masked guy, right below the gloves. His skin is lighter. I think it's Pattinson's character instead.
*I haven't really seen any of John David Washington's movies yet (Hence, I didn't quite know him).*
*Going by the trailers, I'd sorta expected him to be all serious and low key.. So, him being hilarious and vibrant was a really pleasant surprise!!*

The prestige was adopted from a book actually. He rewrote the ending tho.

The ending of the book is Borden sabotaged the machine while he was doing the trick angier dies but his clone is left incomplete almost like a ghost. He stays in the vault for years until his and bordens great grand kids open the vault.
He's so serious in the trailer but he's so funny in real life. He sounds like a fanboy half the time

The secrecy behind this film (e.g., vague plot details, no character names, etc) is because it’s a DC film based on Clock King and his time manipulation device. Washington is Green Arrow. Even the old verbal working “Tempus Fugit” is a variation of Clock King’s real name (Temple Fugate).

So basically, there are organisations hired to do certain jobs such as assassinations, heists, etc. And then after they do them, they claim a certain compensation based on the costs incurred for carrying out that operation. And the people who hired these organisations, they send John David Washington, a claims adjuster who sees the whole operation in reverse to assess whether the costs being asked are justified or not. Sort of like an insurance claim agent. And David said yes, this movie is about a claims adjuster lmao

Nolan actually did inherit Interstellar from a studio. He rewrote a lot of it, but it was originally going to be directed by someone else. Fun fact: his brother Jonah wrote the original draft though.

Dude I love the joker theory. If you really think about it chaos is what creates a better world. Why do we protest? Why do we riot? It’s a challenge to authority and the way of the world.
