So many of the same ads are all over the place in streaming services. I just turn the sound off and set a timer for the seconds the ad is supposed to show. then see what i was looking at before the ad popped on the screen. So sick of ads and most aren't relative to me anyway
In general, I don't like remakes, never have. They never seem to do the original justice. They just need to make their own original shows instead of piggy backing on other people's work.
I think another reason that advertisers would jump from a broadcast network who is losing ratings it’s because their demographic information is fuzzy math at best. When they advertise on streaming platforms, the demographic information is more concrete, meaning they know how many men, women, children, and adults of all ages are tuning in.

big lots was a hidden gem for furniture, their couch and recliners were super cheap and felt amazing, got a great 3000 dollar sectional for 1000 bucks, i had it for years no issues, was heart broken when i moved and couldn't bring it with us,
I quit MSNBC for the same reason I no longer partake of any mainstream media. I am too heartsick to tolerate daily play-by-play "coverage" of my country's slide into oligarchy and authoritarianism. Once in a while, I watch a few minutes of independent (not corporate) progressive media online.
I'll never subscribe to Fubo or any other "free, ad-supported" service. These channels are ultra-aggressive in their spot loads being as high as 45% of air time. Plus, the placement of those ads is very indiscriminate and random doing things like cutting into then middle of a line of dialog for example. Pluss, they censor the content for language and cut it for time. The very worst practices of your local, independent TV stations of old. I pay for the streaming services that I do in large part specifically for ad-free content. MSNBC should transition over to its own social media channel on things like RUclips. Social media is where the audiences are now. I would also gladly pay for an ad-free version of MSNBC.
Honestly, I get the concept of RSNs, NESN was/is huge around here, and the days when either your rich parents paid for a subscription or got a "black box" to watch Bruins and Red Sox games was an interesting time. But even then, seeing the other half of the Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins regular season games on over-the-air UHF channels like WSBK TV 38 and WLVI 56 back then made RSNs a "nice to have" luxury. Even nowadays, where RSNs and ESPN snuck into Verizon's cable TV packages, essentially slowly and surely raising the cost of the monthly subscription, leading even the most diehard sports fans to finding alternatives (legal, or other means), it's no wonder why RSNs are looked at as the constant "villains" of cable TV, and a big reason for "cord cutting".
I think he might have a speech impediment. I've heard him before stumbling over words so he might have a stutter. We could give him the benefit of the doubt. He does report very interesting news.
I can remember when due to FCC community rules broadcast companies did not run their news divisions as profit centers. Those days are long gone. People say the miss the days of Walter Cronkite, but broadcasters don't want it and the FCC has given up on community rules.
Your Absolutely right , Hollywood as we knew it is Dead !!! Nobody their can right or create New and Interesting content is any wonder we have just Your FUBAR !!!!!!!!!! Most Important , No one today wants to be actors like in the Golden years ....
I stopped watching MSNBC when Keith left. Maybe they should give the audience what they want, rather than what the corporate stooges want to tell them.
Why do we need a "Chitty-Chitty, Bang-Bang" remake? I haven't seen it since I was in the little-kid target audience, and that audience doesn't know from or need cutting-edge special effects or a new DEI cast. Just do a nice 4K transfer and have done with it. Same for B5. I'm pretty sure Warner Bros.-Discovery came to JMS and said, "We're gonna reboot Babylon 5. Do you wanna run it?" They did the same thing with the Wachowskis before making the fourth Matrix movie. It was gonna happen anyway, so the creator was given the option to come on board or watch some studio-picked idiot screw over their "baby." Joe may disagree, but the only thing B5 needs is the "remastering" that the OG Star Trek series got. The live action shots were framed for a widescreen aspect ratio, but the spaceship effects were 4:3 for the TVs of the era. The upscaling already on the streaming services is great, but can you imagine those already amazing shots re-rendered with today's CG? Everything else was great 30 years ago, and I do not want the stellar work of Andreas Katsulas, Michael O'Hare, Richard Biggs, Steven Furst, Jeff Conaway, Jerry Doyle, and Mira Furlan to fade from public view.
As for CNN and MSNBC they need to become fast channels are you telling me that if you can watch it for free they're not going to be able to get advertising
They charge an exorbitant price, and deliver every fringe sport there is, but no Turner, Discovery, A&E and AMC networks. Then, they FORCE you to pay for RSNs. If all they want to be is a sports streaming service, that's fine, but I personally don't want anything to do with them.
My Wife and I love MSNBC but they lost us because We can't afford a Live TV service like Sling TV, or worse RUclips, Fubo, Hulu Live, etc. for $60-$90 a month. For a short time Peacock was carrying some of the MSNBC content. When They dropped that we dropped them we have Antenna and DVR for any NBC show we want, which isn't much beyond MSNBC. IMO they need to offer either MSNBC in Full on Peacock or as it's own service. We are so Tired of content being tied to Cable and Live Streamers only. We cut the cord to Cable 20 years ago, to save money. Why would we pay as much or more than we did for cable. The TV Content industry needs to get over themselves, and give people more options. We refuse to pay for tons of "channels" we do not want and will not use. Same with CNN. The industry needs to walk away from making subscribers to pay for ESPN whether they want it or not. That's the Stone around their neck. They need to Breakup the forced bundles. Let services compete by quality of content not quantity.
I have not really watched this TV channel, but that's sad for those whom use that for their news and finance. Thnx for the heads up my friend.. HAPPY HOLIDAYS...

EXACTLY THIS
Seriously?
Wokeness is a disease. So is TDS… 👀🧂🇺🇸
What is the Yes network going to do.
Everybody gets their news from social media and that is a problem.
Fubo cost too much, it never was viable for me
Fubo is FUBAR. 😂
Might skip the eggnog before recording LOL
I thought the same thing. He sounds like he pounded back a few. Big Lots and Cord Cutters? 😂😂
I think he might have a speech impediment. I've heard him before stumbling over words so he might have a stutter. We could give him the benefit of the doubt. He does report very interesting news.
He has a hard time with his notes sometimes as he is dyslexic, I believe. Let's see you do better.
These channels have two years.
I despise the “Top Ten “ recaps of the previous year. They are a waste of time.
I can remember when due to FCC community rules broadcast companies did not run their news divisions as profit centers. Those days are long gone. People say the miss the days of Walter Cronkite, but broadcasters don't want it and the FCC has given up on community rules.
Remakes are reboots are just lazy. Hollywood ran out of new and original ideas so they rehash old stuff. Pretty lame.
Tell that to MSNBC honcho Rashida Jones. She clearly doesn't understand her own channel, but you certainly appear to get it.
That nutjob Olbermann still rants about all his right wing conspiracy theories on youtube. His Trump derangement is off the charts.
you Can still Watch him Rant about all his Right wing Conspiracy theories on youtube!. His Trump derangement is off the charts.
as republicans, we can't allow cnn and msnbc to shut down. They help us!
I don’t make a remake. I’ll just watch the classic. That’s why it’s a classic.
enjoy Top 10 lists
Good lets let joe and mika go too
Why do we need a "Chitty-Chitty, Bang-Bang" remake?
MAX rewind is BS!!! TV REWIND means watching shows same day or in past 7 day and watch any hour digitaly!
Streamers get more views. Fubo trying to look like Amazon Prime - where you can subscribe to other services. Love Prime Video
As for CNN and MSNBC they need to become fast channels are you telling me that if you can watch it for free they're not going to be able to get advertising
Agreed. Free Streaming channels. Like NewsMaxx or FoxNewsLive...
FUBO TV is the Best!
No they aren’t they don’t have the turner channels.
@lindamcdaniel2419 Stay patient! After Funo wins 🏆 their lawsuit against WBD, Fox, and Disney, Turner channels will come back.
They charge an exorbitant price, and deliver every fringe sport there is, but no Turner, Discovery, A&E and AMC networks.
Then, they FORCE you to pay for RSNs.
If all they want to be is a sports streaming service, that's fine, but I personally don't want anything to do with them.
They won’t win. They will go out of business before that.
I want to see Amazon, Hulu, Netflix and others FREE version.... Great video btw... Happy Holidays..
I made a post explaining why I didn't like Fubo any more, and it was blocked.
Censorship on this video is insane.
I wonder why. 🤔
I watch and enjoy MSNBC but not usually on the weekends.
Where can I find NFL TEAM games?
I have not really watched this TV channel, but that's sad for those whom use that for their news and finance. Thnx for the heads up my friend.. HAPPY HOLIDAYS...
If MSNBC shuts down, I think that Joy, Rachel, Ari and Lawrence shouod go the RUclips route.
I don't want to see these people anywhere. 😅
RUclips is pretty much the only place to go anymore. ABC (and CNN as a proxy) bent the knee, CBS is being taken over be Larry Ellison (a huge Trump donator), MS/NBC bent the knee. PBS only has a News Hour ... and TrumpMusket will most certainly kill the budget that funds public media (both PBS & NPR). This is a dangerous time, and it will a whole lot worse.
The viewership is aging out to the cemetery.
Mocking bird news..for bird brains
X22 report and mark dice..only way
