i think "ustaad" is a respect. furthermore this guy is a qualified mechanical engineer. Sadly in country education seems to earn an office job whereas qualified mechanic is supposed to be a very good profession.

Bht khoob. Hr field me imandar aur parhy likhy logon ko jana chaye. Aur koi kam chota ya bara nae hota. Ek workshop me rizq e halal kamany wala, kisi b corrupt bureacrat, general ya politician se lakh darajay behtar ha.

My (an engineer's) Tips based on personal experience (getting 14-16 local with AC and 18-20 on motorways with AC in Honda City 1.3 ivtec:
- Use AC on 1 or 2 speed (AC fan speed also changes the duration for which the AC compressor stays on and then trips) this will also prolong the life of your AC compressor as it trips often and not put load on compressor or heatup the compressor.
- Use brakes less and leave the accelerator in advance before stopping (brakes=energy waste).
- Use fully synthetic Engine oil.
- Clean air filter often.
- Do not mess with throttle body if the car is running good, i hv run cars 1300cc more than 50k kms without any tuneups or anything just change engine oil oil filter clean air filter and use good fuel.
- Try to Keep 1300cc cars above the speed of 60 most of the times for best fuel average. (60-100 speed is the sweet spot for these engines)
- For manual cars, do not shift gears very early and not too late, a bigger gear never always mean better fuel average at very low speeds.
- Driving habit matters the most, enjoy your ride while cruising and not rash driving.
- Ask the car washer person to spray on the AC condenser on every car wash to improve AC performance resulting in better fuel economy.

He did not touch the core points: replacing spark plugs, air filter, cleaning throttle body, using full synthetic engine oil, only original spark plugs will improve fuel efficiency. Also using good quality engine coolant will improve engine efficiency. Using Japanese radiator cap will ensure better engine temperature management.
Further, a good engine oil is that which maintains its thickness in cold n hot state. Synthetic oils have added compounds to reduce friction of parts and to keep engine temperature within healthy limits.
@@ZafarAli-lk6kq Agreed, always use fully synthetic oil and company recommended grade never change oil grade even your car mileage is over 200k. using thicker oil decreases fuel economy. Also you're right about coolant, always use engine coolant instead of water.

My tips... In addition
1. Never remove thermo valve in radiator system. Engine should run at operating temp.
2. Always use coolant.
3. Always use oil with reqired SAE / API grade.
5.frequent replacement of air filter.
6. Rpm at 2500 max.
7.
Give engine a booster run... Above 4000 rpm
Please elaborate on point 7. How running on 4k rpm will improve fuel efficiency?
