While I do agree about most of your points especially regarding RNG I think you really just force bundled the whole game as a gacha and that it is defined by it's gacha mechanics; for the most part it does really just seem like you reject random progression systems which is fine but you had extended your criticism of the rng system to everything else like combat, gameplay, and boss design? That might be a reach but I surmise it's because you're baseline is MHW and you probably hated Rise as well. I think glossing over the fact that skill expression is what lowers the requirements for boss difficulty; the RNG isnt the end all be all of clearing the game but it is what severely throttles reaching the finite ceiling. I've played a significant amount of time in the game and the RNG kicks in when you want to hyper optimize your build but the free single trait ones are perfectly serviceable even for Luci fight and even then you dont fight luci for the progression

Well first of all, although I named this account "I Just Want To Complain", I don't mean to "feed off negativity" in anyway with the stuff I post. It's more just the fact I am someone that just likes to complain and nitpick a lot, so I created this outlet for me to vent about things that irritated me. All my previous videos were also about complaining, but I also tried to give suggestions on how to change them to maybe make things better IMO, which I believe is mroe akin to constructive criticism. I mean, you and @RAINLORDV2 can feel free to be cynical about this, but all I can say is I'm not purposefully trying to gather hate and negativity to get famous or whatever. If I were there's probably better ways than just uploading a single half-hour-to-hour-long video every few weeks/months.
Now about the RNG, I'll agree that I may have put too much emphasis on the gacha aspect of this game. But, at the same time, considering this is an action game, with a certain amount of emphasis on its progression system, I think the fact that such a huge part of this system is so heavily RNG determined is bound to have an effect on all the other aspects of the game, and how much that RNG actually affects these other aspects of the game is really where my issue lies within. I may seem to have bundled them up because I think they can get bundled up. Though, I was hoping to convey that they are all bundled more under the idea of the game feeling "lacking effort", than "RNG".
I don't think I've exactly attributed every problem I have with the game to RNG and bundled them all under that, so my bad if it came out feeling like that. My issue with the progression system and the reward system were definitely with the RNG. But for combat/boss design, I mostly just found it flat and boring, even without the RNG stuff. The RNG issue I had with the character sigils or boss rewards were more about the reward system, that just so happened to be connected to the combat/gameplay. I did not find the combat/boss design enjoyable because I thought they all lacked depth and reasons for me to actually engage with them other than just the flashy numbers and visuals, which was not enough for me. It was not just because, or even mostly because of RNG. If anything it was more like the straw that broke the camel's back for my distaste for the game.
Now, you may certainly say that I'm just gatekeeping at this point and am just holding games to too high of a standard, which I would agree that I'm not being fair with here if this were the case. But again, my standard here is more about the combat/gameplay/boss design, and NOT all, or even largely, about RNG/gacha. I actually didn't "hate" Rise, but more just lukewarm about it, because I did not like the wirebug skills and thought they were more of a nuisance than good additions to the game. Again, it's about issues I have with the actual gameplay, and not the RNG side of things.
I was not trying to bundle RNG into everything, and I don't think I was trying to come off that way. I think it's more so that because of how prevalent RNG is for this game, that it permeated throughout all these other aspects of the game and stained the game more as a whole.
About skill expression, I feel like that is kind of a weak point because, for an action, game, I certainly hope that better skill will reward you with better encounters. That should be the baseline for any game, not just for action games, so the bar you've set is kind of low there. I call the gameplay feeling flat because I don't see the game being even able to support much skill expression. Like, when watching a speedrun video of Lucius versus any of the higher Master difficulty monsters in Monster Hunter, one of them is clearly much more skill expressive and rewarding than the other. It's a matter on how much skill expression the player can actually express within the limits of the game, and how much such skill expression can actually reward the player. My issue is not a "there is or there is not", but more about the "there is, but how". I agree that sigils heavily impacts the ceiling, but I think it also impacts the floor too much as well, and skill expression is not enough of a patch to cover up the hole on the ground that the lack of certain sigils leaves.
Hopefully I was clear with what I was trying to say, and feel free to disagree and comment further if you wish, or if there's anything you think I didn't convey well or clear enough.

    I watched the video.
Question, with your admitted bias towards gacha games -- why would you bother buying and playing this one? You have knowledge of the Luci sigils, so I imagine that you put quite a bit of time into the game.

I don't think having an IP that came from a gacha background necessarily means that everything that is using the IP is going to be gacha, so I thought I could give the game a chance. I was also kind of recommended by my friend to try the game out, and the beginning of the game did show some stuff I thought seemed promising, and I did actually enjoy it, so I continued with a certain kind of expectation for the game. But, as I've mentioned in the second-half of the video, as the game progressed, those expectations were kind of left unsatisfied and some mechanics I thought were interesting felt straight up abandoned, which I really thought was a shame. Gacha was definitely a large part of what I dislike about the game, but I think even without the gacha, the game felt unfitting for the amount of praises it received due to some of the more fundamental issues I had with it, but this (the "deserving" amount of praise) in particular is definitely a very subjective thing, so you are welcome to disagree on that. I simply didn't find the game that fun to play after a certain point and felt confused by how much other people, including my friend, were enjoying the game.
I thought I should at least play enough to make sure that I can at least experience and understand how the game works in general, and talk about the game with at least enough confidence to say that "I did play the game" if ever asked. It should be fair to hold and share opinions for things after having actually experienced them, no?
