Leveling with sorc is absolut fantastic. Also in Midgame its absolut crazy. But in endgame it is going down

@@zuxru6467 I recommend just adding flame shield duration on armor and pants because this will make your build immortal. The only problem is having a lot of cooldown reduction so the flame shield can be available before the duration ends.

Nice build would change a few things like the tibaults and the concentration aspect. Also shredding blades stormswell is better option as it provides more damage. Vulnerable not an issue on frozen orb.

Sorc is my fav class have 2 this season, have always loved the speed
I do something similar with Arc Lash and Paingorgers. Teleport into a mob, infinite draws them all together marks them, arc lash and dead, if any left alive frost nova, and repeat. Rotating Lightning strike, frost nova, hydras. I use hydras so I can cast a couple of them either into a room or ahead, they get marked and finish them off.
Why Arc Lash? One of the tempering stats is critical damage to lightning skills. 3K+ crit damage, multiplied by 300% from Paingorgers and damage to close enemies. Can one shot an entire mob with one arc lash hit. For difficult elites or bosses use frost nova to make vulnerable. Lightning strike also for vulnerable and marking. Trying to get build to drop lightning strike and ultimate, so have only 3 cool down skills which will be constantly up.

I play sorc as main besides barb, my sorc do 400k on bosses, still cant solo the lv 200 ones, not sures what i am missing on my build. Cant wait to see you endgame build popping up

Will be interesting to see how it holds up end game. Sorcerer has always been good at leveling, end game is where it usually falls behind other classes.
It sucks in endgame. Period. Without Uber uniques or 12/12 Masterwork gear, don't expect to be able to kill Tormented bosses.

my sorc with frost bolt solo'd the first capstone at lvl 15 lol its the barriers as well though yes i gimped the toon with iron wolf rep items lol
How does this build do compared to the build on maxroll? I like this infinite mana idea and I wonder if the maxroll build is similar. Which build is better in general, this or maxroll?
If you go for maxroll build swap loop ring for the umbral and you will be golden.

Hi, great guide, however, before frigid fate board, you don't say anything about what glyph you use and what board are you talking about (the third board), you only talk about rare nodes.. what glyph and board is it?
Board is burning Instinct, glyph is Tactician.
Why damage against close enemies on rings and weapon? And not dmg against crowd controlled?
I feel like a lot of enemies are pretty far way. Does this still trigger?
You stand right next to the boss while fighting it to be honest
Damage to crowd control does not work against bosses (unless staggered)
Weird timing on your part, the Sorc is the last one I need before I have every class at 100, and I should be able to do it before the XP boost goes away

I wonder how a max roll Fist of Fates (300%) plays out on the gloves, you loss the ranks in Orb but the flat increase with maxed glyphs might be worth it.
Got a 4 Star Roller 270% 925er yesterday and dont know whrer to User thus f of Fate. Any Tips?
Fists is bad, it wasn’t good before tempers it’s really bad after, you lose way to much to use uniques in the gloves, jewelry or weapon slot unless the unique is build defining. Plus fists still have a drawback and no real stats including lucky hit which you would want for the gloves themselves
Does this build Kill bosses quickly too?
Elementalist would be a better glyph to place in the starter baord. It boosts all damage and resistance nodes. Not just rares or magic.
The paragon points are not showing on the website for the build
How does it do against Uber bosses and lilith? I dont plan on doing the highest Pits, just the necessary to masterwork
So pit right now with basic gear is 89 max (Need more tempering)
Tormented Bosses was slow but we got it done
Uber lilith is possible but need more tempering (at least all pieces 8/12 for success)

Most fun I had was leveling a frozen orb sorc. The least fun I had was a frozen orb sorc once 100. The gear requirements to be viable in pits above 100 is dumb imo.
Why Esu's Ferocity when were doing so little fire damage? I'm sure there something im missing. Thanks in advance

i had everything for that frozen orb sorc i could not get it to work. i kept getting ganked by hellbores, i seemed to lack dps somewhere. and survival was bad. it was fun in helltides hitting everything but as i said seemed lacking. Any of my Barbs this season didnt suffer like this. Could be i did something wrong shrug.

U can play the build just go for 1 greater affix in the best case on your chest with mana per second. Play a normal ring with crit strike, attack speed and int and u good to go

I went with a different regular boot. I think i was only getting 3% crit chance from move speed, so meh went another way.
Boots are 100% optional!
you will still runout of mana until you get

and you will need some mana regen (20 min) if you have close to 100% atk speed net
then you will need starless
and then if you go higher you will want 100% uptime on shield to not get one shot
you will need harlequin crest :)
Board 3 in Paragon [burning instinct] doesnt match your postion even when rotated any idea why? Im trying to get the "culler node" on the left side as in your build example
It matches up, it's not culler, it's cinders on the left side. I just wish I knew which glyph he used on that board

Sorc is so squishy though without infinite flameshield... which takes half your build to get.
I feel like level sorc is painfully slow compared to heart seeker rogue, bash barb and wind sheer druid. I guess my build just sucks 😂

what exactly am i doing wrong? im running all the right gear, but my mana is just dropping so fast and i cant keep it up
True. I even crafted starless ring. Because everybody says you'll solve your mana problem with starless. But i still ran out of mana after 3-4 frozen orb.
I also had this issue but made several changes so now i can spam FO non-stop and attack speed is my rate limiting factor now. disclaimer: im using a different FO build (Lurkin's) but heavily modified.
The key for me was to replace one glyph (Charged in my case) with the static surge node (after spending x mana, next cast of CL/CB will restore 10% mana and add vuln for 2 seconds) and replace the ice blades enchant with CL. Relevant gear = Shako/Tal-rasha/starless/tibaults with +7 mana per sec on boots. I also use shimmering ice armor (reduce ice armor CD every 50 mana) to maintain the extra 30% mana regen. Did not need to put any pts in Frigid Breeze and I can use Greater FO instead of Destructive. Comfortably farming pit 89
Wait there are not enough slots for lightning spear after you have taken frost bolt, frozen orb, ice and flame shields and ice blades?

I was having a lot of fun levelling his build but at lvl 100 it does 0 damage against echo of lilith. 0. 😢 Burned out trying to respec a build twice for different puposes (pit or bosses). The game is starting to feel a bit aimless and frustrating.
Why do we use Tactician now that fireball is no longer used? Are we relying on flame shield for burning?

How come some builds of Frozen Orb use Vyr's Mastery?
Cuz it's bugged and works with all elements.
Damage Reduction and works with all elements! (You do also do lightning shebang thou!)
but at lvl 54 you dont play it like this thats for sure.. its still quite fun.. but no infinite mana.. would be nice if the build guide told you when to transistion into the next level
how do i collect mats for gem crafting fastest? i have 3 lvl 100's and not enough gem dust to make enough highest lvl gems for a single toon?
Nightmare Dungeons and event chests from Helltide is where I see most of my fragments.

@@gelipterzg The shiny dudes that shields every mob close to it always drop fragments so dont run past them
higher tiers drop more gem bits at a time. tier 2 is like.. 4 or 8, tier 4 is over 200 at a time
The damage reduction elites that glow purple always drop gem dust as well
Problem with frozen orb is, it really struggles in higher tiers when it comes to single target. Anything from Pit level 65 upwards will be a struggle.
61 was simple without alot of masterworking :) I think 65 plus will be a cakewalk
@@P4wnyhof with fresh barb and rogue pushing pit 100 in 4-5min doing 115s max with +8/9 gear and not even stars gear. Sorc need much cdr and timing to do that
the 80x multiplier affix for having no defensive skill on skillbar on a sorc is great considering the sorc has plenty of defense without. tremendous power

At this point, playing fo sorc is super fun!
But this not for pit pushing, and imo pit is not a re-playable endgame content.
I’m a sorc main, had sorcs every season have 3 this season ..and we’re still weaker than barb necro rogue at everything except clearing… other than the stupid immortal fire shield cheese build

Mage Stuck at pit 90-100. Only when you got 3 greater on every Item and perfekt masterwork you can go a little higher

Found a Winter glass at lvl 60. I'm mana stable but having trouble with cool downs, I'm nowhere near spamming armor and teleport.
Need to play ice blades thats the trick!

Sir there is variants of the build - the 1-50 does not have a paragon... because it is 1-50

yes
Blizzard is still the best bosses. Frozen orb is way more fun. Frozen orb is probably the most fun in the game in my opinion.

My initial thought process is when I'm basically just spamming hell tides that I can just sit there with blizzard and widen the radius as much as possible so that I can just more or less hold down the button

Or some variation of using unstable currents is pretty fun.
I want to play around with the shatter aspect because I think that could help push pits later on in the game
Although it's a pit. I probably would consider going back to blizzard just because it's so defensive. I'm just not sure I could clear the dungeon in time
@@mrtesla5724 I was clearing pit 70 at level 95 with my blizzard. Blizzard will take you far without going cheese ball for the higher pits. I used shatter for leveling with my frozen orb build. It's actually useless for higher level pits and bosses. I toggle between avalanche and combustion. Just tinkle with it and have fun. There's no perfect build. Every 2 days there's the best build for every character and it's annoying.

how does he have skill slot 5 wouldn't his skill slot 5 be his movement key?
Options > Controls, uncheck "Combine Move/Interact/Basic Skill Slot", then rebind basic skill slot to 5 or whatever you want.

Wdym fractured winterglass is easy to farm? I literally did 40 kills at Lord Zir last night and only got one single drop with terrible stats... 1 in 40, that's over 360 bloods spent
I'd love to actually see a 100 pit with this spec. I only see a 66. I'm @ 90 and using the blizzard/ice spike build. This seems like a version of frozen orb build, which doesn't really work with higher tiers. I want to believe, but I have doubts.

This guide isn't bad but damn bro it's a tad bit hard to follow when your constantly switching screens getting off the main subject. I get explaining all the little tid bits of the skills but you should have saved that for more of the end. On top of showing more of your paragon glyphs I only seen a few and I couldn't see them when you zoomed out. You did good but you could have done a lot better js

@@MarcelScharlI mean it all depends on everything you have on your sorc. From paragon points skill points, gearing and how you mechanically play with your sorc. My barriers are pretty much up all the time along with cooldowns being at the lowest I can get them to, to mana being infinite…again it all depends on your mechanics. Mine is a sorc blizzard who starts off slow but builds its power as the pit goes on as long it’s continually hitting something.

avoid this build at all costs, it's probably the worst ever build i had with sorc in term of mana regeneration, making bossing almost impossible, just fine for clearing because I have mana regen on kills, otherwise even clearing sucks
this is why sorceress is way more superior than necromencer : 3 defensive skills, tons of AOE, way better mobility. In the pit i just tp into the elites activate my flame shield and its done while as a necromencer, you have to curse them, use your blood mist then corpse tendrils them then use use your golem : i seriously hope bone spear summoner will be better one day
You're part of the small minority who actually thinks sorcerer is better lol, sorcerer isn't even better than barbarian.

@@desantinotafrancesco2639 barb dmg is better than sorceress but sorceress is way stronger than necromencer. The necro rework is not complete : for example we have passive skills that boost minions armor . Since minions get 100% of your stats it’s useless ! Same in paragon !
Finally we have shadow minions working crazy but the skills loop is not as good as sorceress : currently I just shoot frozen orbs , the conjurations are here and that’s it : one single skill to blast them all , easy and fun.
I tried bone spear summoner but it’s trash. The only good build for minions is shadow minions build. Every necros are using the same build but with sorceress you have frozen orb or ball lightning or blizzard for example, same for other classes.
@@desantinotafrancesco2639 Define " better " The only thing that's objectively better is the top tier damage output but that's it. Sorc has better defenses, better speed, and more build diversity than very other class for anything below the highest of pit clear runs.
@@Voltairus30 That might be, but you need twice the gear to do 2/3 the content.
Sadly without best gear, you get kicked your asses in the Pit :( above Level 70, with this build.
For a more casual gamer, i would suggest play what makes fun to you and forget about the Builds that are presented from the power gamer.
These guys to this the whole day and the builds are mostly fully optimized, including Ubers ......
It is fine, when you can push Tier 61 and a little above.
I had a lot of fun with this build, while leveling and in the lower pits.
