I will have to disagree with Miss Pam about the difference between old school and new school teams. Every time you watch a sports doc, you'll notice that the beat writers and reporters knew what was going on but they didn't write about it. They all knew Jordan punched Kerr in the face but they decided not make it a huge story. The issue is that sports media turned into TMZ so everything gets reported. People always knew what was occurring in locker rooms because reporters had way more access than they do now and because they wanted to look out for the organization.
I don’t think she was referencing the media at all in her response, or commenting on whether folks knew beef existed between players. I’m my opinion, her focus was solely on past & present athletes & how they handle internal grievances w/ teammates. She zeroed in on the distinction that back in the day, player’s didn’t bring in guns or escalate things to a criminal level.
