@cbaskauskas Not really. It's just the crazy guy - straight guy trope. Not all antagonist type characters are the same. For example, Amir rhymed a lot and Reilly doesn't. Reilly is normal most of the time but has "different" insecurities (browno episode) and doesn't understand that being bad means being indulgent.
Similarly, Jake was not playing Amir but his insecurity about fashion made him the antagonist in some episodes.
