This is a short dorm tour at my university! PVAMU is a HBCU and I can say as a girl who traveled a long way to Texas to be here I am a proud panther and excited to be studying at PVAMU. The campus is absolutely gorgeous and everyone is very nice! Go Panthers! 💜💛

These arent for regular freshman. These quad dorms are for students who pay extra and have to keep up certain grades to stay there. The regular freshman dorms are 2 bedroom one bathroom with a hallway between your rooms.
Okay it's a high school student that wants to go to HBCU this is something to strive for to keep your grades up so you can live in a nice dormitory of your four years in college

is this available for freshmans ?
I graduated from PVAMU in 2008 and lived in phase three at the time that was considered luxury for getting a 3.0 or higher. No walk in closet though!!😕 These look amazing!!🥹 I can see where the alumni money goes ! 😁
How do you get that many roommates
I’m really late, but once you sign your lease they will email you this app called roommatesync and you find them there

Full sized bed (bigger than a twin smaller than a queen)

This is called University Square
They said only University college is for Freshmen. How were you able to get into University Square, if you don’t mind me asking please? :)
I know when I applied last yr freshman weren’t allowed to be in the square. Some got in because of a glitch, but it might change for next school year. Also I think if you apply for honors housing you get to be in the square they should have more info on their website. Hope this helps!
They got in due to a change in policy. It was preferred that over flow freshmen be placed near other freshmen rather than across campus in the phases.
@@shezadyme579 do you know if they are still allowing freshmen to be in the square this coming fall 2021?? my son is an incoming freshmen and I'd actually prefer for him to have his own room..due to the current problems with the pandemic..i know you're probably not the go to or the expert..but if you have an answer or idea..thankx..:)
@@skjordan3803 freshman can live in the square if they got applied and got accepted into the honors program!
Can sophomores stay in this housing ?
Yes
Sophomores usually stay in the Phases but can apply to stay at other complexes such as the View or Square

I believe all rooms are the same size the configuration of the room is the only difference between each bedroom
